6 Now Paul, knowing that the one part was made up of Sadducees but the other of Pharisees, cried out in the Sanʹhe·drin: “Men, brothers, I am a Pharisee,+ a son of Pharisees. Over the hope of the resurrection of the dead I am being judged.”

6 But now for the hope of the promise that was made by God to our forefathers,+ I stand on trial;

19 Pray also for me, that the words may be given to me when I open my mouth, so that I may be able to speak boldly in making known the sacred secret of the good news,+ 20 for which I am acting as an ambassador+ in chains, and that I may speak about it with boldness, as I ought to speak.
