“Una Be My Friends”
16 If you want live for Paradise, how you go take show sey you dey support Christ brothers, and sey you be their friend? Make we see three ways. The first way na to use all our mind preach. 17 The second way na to use our money support the preaching work. Jesus encourage im followers to use “this world property” make friend with im and im Father. (Luke 16:9) No be sey we fit use money buy our friendship with Jesus or Jehovah. But as we dey use the things wey we get support the Kingdom work, we dey show sey we love God, and sey our friendship with am no be for mouth. (1 John 3:16-18) We dey use our money support the Kingdom work when we dey preach, when we contribute to build and maintain the different different place wey we dey meet to worship Jehovah, and when we contribute to support the world wide preaching work. Whether wetin we contribute big or small, make we know sey Jehovah and Jesus really value am.—2 Cor. 9:7.
18 The third way na to dey cooperate with the elders for congregation. Jehovah don choose dem with im spirit, and na Jesus dey direct dem. (Eph. 5:23) Paul write for Bible sey: “Make una dey obey people wey dey lead una and make una dey do wetin dem talk.” (Heb. 13:17) Sometimes, e no dey easy for us to do the things wey elders tell us from Bible.
