He will bring comfort to all her ruins,+

And he will make her wilderness like Eʹden+

And her desert plain like the garden of Jehovah.+

Exultation and rejoicing will be found in her,

Thanksgiving and melodious song.+

13 Instead of thornbushes the juniper tree will grow,+

And instead of the stinging nettle the myrtle tree will grow.

And it will bring fame to* Jehovah,+

An everlasting sign that will never perish.”
