12 “Honor your father and your mother,+ so that you may live a long time in the land that Jehovah your God is giving you.+

16 “‘Honor your father and your mother,+ just as Jehovah your God has commanded you, so that you may live a long time and you may prosper* in the land that Jehovah your God is giving you.+

6 Children, be obedient to your parents+ in union with the Lord, for this is righteous.
