41 However, Eʹsau harbored animosity against Jacob because of the blessing his father had given him,+ and Eʹsau kept saying in his heart: “The days of mourning for my father are getting closer.+ After that I am going to kill Jacob my brother.”

11 Save me, I pray you,+ from the hand of my brother Eʹsau, for I am afraid of him that he may come and attack me,+ as well as the mothers and their children.
