69 And he has raised up a horn of salvation*+ for us in the house of David his servant,+

2 For he says: “In an acceptable time I heard you, and in a day of salvation I helped you.”+ Look! Now is the especially acceptable time. Look! Now is the day of salvation.

7 During his life on earth,* Christ offered up supplications and also petitions, with strong outcries and tears,+ to the One who was able to save him out of death, and he was favorably heard for his godly fear.
