20 while I did not hold back from telling you any of the things that were profitable* nor from teaching you publicly+ and from house to house.+

23 For I received from the Lord what I also handed on to you, that the Lord Jesus on the night+ on which he was going to be betrayed took a loaf,

3 Beloved ones, this is now the second letter I am writing you in which, as in my first one, I am stirring up your clear thinking faculties by way of a reminder,+ 2 that you should remember the sayings previously spoken* by the holy prophets and the commandment of the Lord and Savior through your apostles.

23 Indeed, this is his commandment: that we have faith in the name of his Son Jesus Christ+ and love one another,+ just as he gave us a commandment.
