7 And he was preaching: “Someone stronger than I am is coming after me, the lace of whose sandals I am not worthy to stoop down and untie.+ 8 I baptized you with water, but he will baptize you with holy spirit.”+

33 Even I did not know him, but the very One who sent me to baptize in water said to me: ‘Whoever it is upon whom you see the spirit coming down and remaining,+ this is the one who baptizes in holy spirit.’+

2 Now while the day of the Festival of Pentecost+ was in progress, they were all together at the same place.

4 and they all became filled with holy spirit+ and started to speak in different languages,* just as the spirit enabled them to speak.+

13 For by one spirit we were all baptized into one body, whether Jews or Greeks, whether slaves or free, and we were all made to drink one spirit.
