29 Hez·e·ki′ah dey 25 years when e start to rule as king, and e rule for 29 years for Jerusalem. Them stop to burn incense and do sacrifice them wey them de burn for the holy place to the God of Israel. 8 Because of this one, Jehovah vex for Judah and Jerusalem no be small, so e make them to be people wey their bad condition de make people fear and surprise no be small, and wetin go make person de hiss,* as una de use una own eyes see-am so. 9 Because of this one, them use sword kill our papa-papa them and them carry our sons, our daughters, and our wives go as slaves. 10 Now wetin really dey my heart to do na to make agreement with Jehovah the God of Israel, so that e go stop to vex for us. 11 My sons, this one no be time to comot eye from the work wey una suppose do,* because Jehovah don choose una to stand for im front, to work as im servants, and to make im sacrifice them de smoke.”
12 So the Levites stand up. Them be: Ma′hath wey be the son of A·ma′sai and Joel the son of Az·a·ri′ah wey come from the family of Ko′hath; the people wey come from the family of Me·rar′i, na Kish the son of Ab′di and Az·a·ri′ah the son of Je·hal′le·lel; the people wey come from Ger′shon na, Jo′ah the son of Zim′mah and E′den the son of Jo′ah; 13 and the people wey come from among the sons of E·li·za′phan na, Shim′ri and Je·u′el; the people wey come from among the sons of A′saph na, Zech·a·ri′ah and Mat·ta·ni′ah; 14 the people wey come from among the sons of He′man na, Je·hi′el and Shim′e·i; the people wey come from among the sons of Je·du′thun na, She·mai′ah and Uz′zi·el. 15 Then them gather their brothers together and make theirself clean and them come to clean the house of Jehovah as the king don command them according to wetin Jehovah talk. 16 Then the priests go inside the house of Jehovah to clean-am and them bring all the dirty-dirty things wey them see for the temple of Jehovah come out and carry them go the compound of the house of Jehovah. 18 After that one, them go meet King Hez·e·ki′ah and talk say: “We don clean the whole house of Jehovah, the altar of offering wey them de burn, and all the things wey them de use work for there, and the table of layer bread* and all the things wey them de use work for there. 19 And all the things wey them de use work wey King A′haz be don carry put for corner for the time wey e de rule when e no obey God, we don arrange them keep and we don make them clean, and them dey front of the altar of Jehovah.”
20 And King Hez·e·ki′ah get up for early morning and gather the leaders of the city together and them go up go the house of Jehovah. 21 Them bring seven bulls, seven rams, seven small male sheep, and seven male goats as sin offering for the kingdom, for the holy place, and for Judah. So e tell the priests, the children-children of Aaron say make them use them do sacrifice for the altar of Jehovah. 22 Then them kill the bulls and the priests carry the blood and sprinkle-am ontop the altar. After that one, them kill the rams and sprinkle the blood ontop the altar, and them kill the small-small male sheep and sprinkle the blood ontop the altar. 23 Then, them bring the male goats for the sin offering come front of the king and the people wey gather, and them put their hands ontop them. 24 The priests kill them and use their blood do sin offering ontop the altar, to make all Israel people clean from sin, because the king talk say the offering wey them de burn and the sin offering na for all Israel people.
25 As this one de happen, e talk say make the Levites stand for the house of Jehovah with cymbals, music instruments wey get strings and harps wey dey their hands, according to the commandment of David and the commandment of Gad wey de see vision for the king and the commandment of Nathan wey be prophet, because na Jehovah use im prophets give them this command. 26 So the Levites stand with the instruments of David wey dey their hand, and the priests hold the trumpets.
27 Then Hez·e·ki′ah talk say make them do the sacrifice wey them de burn ontop the altar. When them start to do the sacrifice wey them de burn, the song of Jehovah start and them start to blow the trumpets too. Them follow the way them de play the instruments of David wey be king of Israel. 28 And all the people wey gather together bow down as them de sing the songs and de blow the trumpets, and na so all this one continue until them finish to do the offering wey them de burn. 29 As them just do the offering finish, the king and all the people wey dey with-am bow down and lie down for ground. 30 King Hez·e·ki′ah and the leaders come tell the Levites say make them use the things wey David and A′saph wey de see vision talk to praise Jehovah. So them praise-am and them de happy no be small. Them come bow down and lie down for ground.
31 Then Hez·e·ki′ah talk say: “Now wey them don separate una* for Jehovah, make una come and make una bring to the house of Jehovah sacrifice them and offerings wey them de use thank God.” So the people start to bring sacrifice them and offerings wey them de use to thank God, and anybody wey im heart move-am bring offerings wey them de burn. 32 The number of offerings wey them de burn wey the people bring na 70 cows, 100 rams, 200 small male sheep—them bring all this one as offering wey them de burn to Jehovah— 33 and the holy offerings na 600 cows and 3,000 sheep. 34 But them no get enough priests to comot the skin of all the animals wey them go use do offerings wey them de burn, so their brothers wey be Levites help them until them finish the work and until the priests don make theirself clean because e dey the mind of the Levites pass the priests to make theirself clean. 35 Apart from that one, plenty offerings wey them de burn be dey, plus the animal fats for the peace sacrifice them and the drink offerings for the offerings wey them de burn. Na so them take start the work for the house of Jehovah again.* 36 So Hez·e·ki′ah and all the people happy because of wetin the true God don do for the people, because all this one happen quick-quick.
