4 This man really dey important sotey Abraham wey be family head,* give-am the tenth part* of the best things wey e bring from the war. 5 True-true, as e dey for the Law, the sons of Leʹvi wey them choose as priest get command to collect tithe from the people wey be their brothers, even though say this people na the children* of Abraham. 6 But this man wey no even come from their family line take tithes from Abraham and bless the person wey get the promise them. 7 Now we no fit deny-am say na the person wey big bless the person wey small. 8 And for one situation, na men wey fit die de receive tithe, but for the other situation, na person wey them don talk say e continue to live. 9 And we fit talk say even Leʹvi wey de receive tithes don pay tithes through Abraham, 10 because them never born-am for the family* of Abraham wey be im papa-papa, when Mel·chizʹe·dek meet Abraham.

11 So, if the work of priests wey come from Leʹvi family de remove sin, (because the work wey priests de do na part of the Law wey God give the people), any need dey again make another priest come wey them talk say e be like Mel·chizʹe·dek and no be like Aaron? 12 As e be say the work of priests don de change, e dey important to change the Law too. 13 The man wey them talk this things about come from another tribe, wey nobody for there don do the work of priest for altar. 14 E clear say our Lord come from Judah, but Moses no talk anything about priest wey go come from that tribe.

15 And this one even clear more-more when another priest come wey be like Mel·chizʹe·dek, 16 wey become priest, no be because of the tribe* wey e come from as Law talk, but na because of the power of the life wey nothing fit destroy. 17 And them talk about-am say: “You be priest forever like Mel·chizʹe·dek.”

18 So the former commandment end, because e dey weak and e no de work. 19 And the Law no make anything perfect, but na the better hope wey God don give us make things perfect, and this one de make us de draw near God. 20 And since God swear to do this one, 21 (because true-true, men don be priest and God no swear about them, but one person dey wey God swear about, when e talk say: “Jehovah don swear and e no go change im mind, ‘You be priest forever’”), 22 na so too Jesus don be the proof for* one better agreement. 23 Another thing na say, many people need to become priest one after another, because death no gree make them continue to serve as priest, 24 but because e continue to live forever, nobody go take over from-am as priest. 25 And so e fit really save people wey de near God through-am because e always dey alive to beg for them.

26 E dey good as we get this kind high priest wey hold God tight, wey im hand clean, wey no de do any bad thing, wey no be like people wey de sin, and wey them make to high pass the heavens. 27 E no be like those high priests because e no need to do sacrifice everyday, to first sacrifice for im own sins, and then for the sins of the people, because e do this one once and for all when e give imself as sacrifice. 28 And the people wey the Law choose as high priests na men wey get where them dey weak. But the word wey them swear wey come after the Law, choose one Son wey don qualify* forever.
