Quick-quick, Phar′aoh and im servants change their mind about the people and them talk say: “Why we do this kind thing and free Israel people make them no continue to be our slaves?” 6 So e ready im war chariots, and take im people with-am. 7 E take 600 best chariots and all the other chariots of Egypt, and soldiers dey inside each of the chariots. 8 So Jehovah allow the heart of Phar′aoh, king of Egypt, to strong like stone, and e pursue Israel people, but Israel people comot de go and them no de fear.* 9 Egypt people pursue them, and all the chariot horses of Phar′aoh, the horsemen, and im army de near Israel people as them gather together near the sea for Pi·ha·hi′roth, and de face Ba′al-ze′phon.

Tell Israel people say make them continue to go. 16 As for you, raise your stick and stretch your hand face the sea and divide-am, so that Israel people fit pass inside the sea ontop dry ground. 17 As for me, I go allow the heart of Egypt people to strong like stone, so that them go enter inside to follow them. Then I go use Phar′aoh and all im army, im war chariots, and im horsemen to bring glory to myself. 18 And Egypt people go surely know say I be Jehovah when I use Phar′aoh, im war chariots, and im horsemen bring glory to myself.”

19 Then the angel of the true God wey be de go for front of Israel people comot go their back, and the pillar of cloud wey be dey their front move go back and stand for their back. 20 So e stand between the camp of Egypt people and the camp of Israel people. For one side, na dark cloud, for the other side, e de bring light for night. So one camp no near the other camp for the whole night.

21 Now, Moses stretch im hand face the sea; and Jehovah use strong east wind push back the sea, the whole night. This one turn the sea floor to dry ground, and the water divide. 22 So Israel people pass inside the sea ontop dry ground, and the water form wall for their right side and for their left side. 23 Egypt people pursue them, and all Phar′aoh horses, im war chariots, and im horsemen start to follow them enter inside the sea. 24 For early morning,* from inside the pillar of fire and cloud, Jehovah look the camp of Egypt people and e make Egypt people confuse. 25 E continue to remove the tires from their chariots, sotey e hard them to drive, and Egypt people start to talk say: “Make we run from Israel people because Jehovah de fight Egypt people because of them.”

26 Then Jehovah tell Moses say: “Stretch out your hand face the sea, so that the water fit come back cover Egypt people, their war chariots, and their horsemen.” 27 At once, Moses stretch im hand face the sea, and as morning de reach, the sea start to come back to im normal place. As Egypt people de run from-am, Jehovah shake Egypt people enter inside the sea. 28 The water wey de come back cover the war chariots and the horsemen and all Phar′aoh army wey don enter the sea after Israel people. No one among them survive.

29 But Israel people waka ontop dry ground inside sea floor, and the water form wall for their right side and for their left side. 30 Na so Jehovah save Israel people that day from the hand of Egypt people, and Israel people see the dead body of Egypt people for the side of sea. 31 Israel people still see the great power* wey Jehovah use against Egypt people, and the people start to fear Jehovah and to put faith for Jehovah and im servant Moses.
