31 Then Moses comot go tell all Israel people this things. 2 E tell them say: “I dey 120 years today. Na Joshua go lead you to cross go the other side, just as Jehovah don talk. 4 Jehovah go do them just as e do Si′hon and Og, wey be kings of Am′or·ite people, together with their land when e destroy them. 5 Jehovah go win them for una, and una go do them as e dey for the whole commandment wey I don give una. 6 Make una get strong heart and dey strong. No fear or shake with serious fear for their front, because Jehovah your God na the person wey de march with you. E no go leave you or abandon you.”

7 Then Moses call Joshua and tell-am for front of all Israel people say: “Make you get strong heart and dey strong, because na you be the person wey go carry this people enter the land wey Jehovah swear to their papa-papa them to give them, and you go give-am to them as their property. 8 Na Jehovah de march for your front, and e go continue to dey with you. E no go leave you or abandon you. Make you no fear or shake.”

9 Then Moses write this Law and give-am to the priests, wey be the Levites, wey de carry the ark of Jehovah agreement, and to all the elders for Israel. 10 Moses command them say: “For the end of every seven years, for the time wey them don choose for the year of freedom, wey una de do the Festival of Booths,* 11 when all Israel people don come front of Jehovah your God for the place wey e choose, make you read this Law make all Israel people hear-am. 12 Gather the people together, the men, the women, the children,* and the stranger wey de live for your cities,* so that them fit listen and learn about Jehovah una God and fear-am and sofri follow everything wey this Law talk. 13 Then their sons wey never know this Law go listen and learn to fear Jehovah una God for all the days wey una go live for the land wey una de cross River Jordan to take as una own.”

14 Then Jehovah tell Moses say: “See! The time don near for you to die. Call Joshua, and make una come* the tent of meeting, so that I fit make-am leader.” So Moses and Joshua go the tent of meeting. 15 Then Jehovah appear for the tent for inside the pillar of cloud, and the pillar of cloud stand near the domot of the tent.

16 So Jehovah tell Moses say: “See! You go soon die,* and this people no go dey faithful to me and go start to worship lie-lie gods* wey dey around them for the land wey them de go. Them go leave me and break my agreement wey I don make with them. 17 That time I go really vex for them, and I go leave them and hide my face from them until them don die finish. Then after plenty problems and suffer don come meet them, them go talk say, ‘No be because our God no dey with us na im make this problems don come meet us?’ 18 But I go continue to hide my face for that day, because of all the wickedness wey them don do as them turn de follow other gods.

19 “Now make una write this song for unaself and teach Israel people the song. Make una make them learn-am* so that this song fit be my witness against Israel people. 20 When I bring them come the land wey I don swear about to their papa-papa them, land wey milk and honey de flow for inside, and them chop belleful and things de go well for them,* them go turn de follow other gods and de serve them, them no go respect me and them go break my agreement. 21 When plenty problem and suffer come meet them, this song go be witness to them (and make their children-children no forget-am), because I don already know wetin dey their mind to do even before I bring them come the land wey I don swear about.”

22 So Moses write this song that day and teach Israel people the song.

23 Then, E* make Joshua the son of Nun the leader and talk say: “Make you get strong heart and dey strong, because na you be the person wey go carry Israel people enter the land wey I don swear to them about, and I go continue to dey with you.”

24 As Moses just write all the words of the Law finish for inside one book, 25 Moses command the Levites wey de carry the ark of Jehovah agreement say: 26 “Make una take this book of the Law and put-am for the side of the ark of the agreement of Jehovah una God, and e go be witness for there against you. 27 Because I really know say una no de gree obey and una get strong head.* If una no de gree obey Jehovah as I still dey alive with una, then una no go even do pass that one after I don die? 28 Gather all the elders for una tribes and una officers come meet me and make I tell them this words make them hear, and make I take the heavens and the earth as witness against them. 29 Because I really know say after I don die, una go surely do wicked things and turn comot from the way wey I don command una about. 30 Then Moses talk the words of this song from beginning to end, make all Israel people* hear:
