Letter From Governing Body
Dear Brothers and Sisters:
The love wey we get for God and for people de move us to do wetin Bible talk, say: “Make una go, and make people from all the nations my disciples, make una baptize them.” (Matt. 28:19, 20; Mark 12:28-31) The love wey de make us to think about people instead of only ourself really get power. E fit touch the heart of “people wey show say them want get life wey no go end.”—Acts 13:48.
For past, the thing wey we de do na to cram wetin we want tell people and leave our book with them. But now, we need to make the way we de discuss with people de better more-more. We want talk about topics wey people really like, to show say we love them. This one mean say we go fit need to change wetin we don prepare to talk and sofri think about wetin each person de worry about and wetin them like. How this brochure go help us do that one?
The brochure get 12 lessons wey de teach us the kind character wey we need to get to fit show love and make disciples. Each lesson na from story for Bible wey talk about character wey Jesus or another person for time of the apostles show when e de preach. Our plan no be to cram wetin we want tell people, but na to look for ways to show people say we love them. Na true say we need each character for all the parts of our preaching work. But we go talk about how we need some kind character them especially when we de start discussion, when we de do return visit, or when we de conduct Bible study.
As you de read each lesson, think well about how you fit show the character wey the lesson talk about when you de talk to people for your area. Try to make your love for Jehovah and for people de strong more-more. Na that love go help you succeed for your plan to make disciples pass any other method wey you fit use preach.
