Utywala lyintoni Imbono YomKristu Ngabo?

“UNGOKABANI na uYeha? Ungokabani na uYoo? Zinabani na iingxabano? Inabani na inkalazo? Anabani na amanxeba angenasizathu? Anabani na amehlo anozizi? Anabo balibala ewayinini.” (IMizekeliso 23:29, 30) Ewe, iBhayibhile iyavuma ukuba iziselo ezinxilisayo zinokubangela imiphumo emibi kakhulu: ukubona izinto ezingabonwayo ngabanye abantu, ukuziphatha okulihlazo, ukungabhadli, impilo enkenenkene, iingxaki zentsapho kwanobuhlwempu.

Phawula ukuba la mazwi eBhayibhile angasentla athetha ngabo “balibala” ewayinini, iindlamanzi! Kwabo banjalo, utywala buyityhefu, ngokufuthi bubangela imiphumo emibi gqitha emzimbeni nasengqondweni. (IMizekeliso 23:32-35) Iindlamanzi zinokungakwazi ukuzeyisa zize ziqalise ukwenza izinto ngokuqhelekileyo ebeziya kuba neentloni ukuzenza. Ngaloo ndlela iBhayibhile inesi silumkiso: “Musa ukuba phakathi kwamasela-wayini, naphakathi kwamadla-kudla; kuba isela-wayini nedla-kudla liyahlwempuzeka; kona ukozela kwambesa amajacu.” (IMizekeliso 23:20, 21) Ubunxila bukwabaleIwa phakathi ‘kwemisebenzi yenyama,’ esenokumthintela umntu ukuba angene eBukumkanini bukaThixo.—Galati 5:19, 21; 1 Korinte 6:10.

Ngoobani ‘Abangezo Zilumko’?

Ngaba oku kuthetha ukuba utywala balelwe ngokupheleleyo kumaKristu? Kuthekani ngebango lomnye umfundisi, okhankanywe kwinqaku elingaphambi kweli ekucingelwa ukuba lisekelwe kwiMizekeliso 20:1, lokuba “amadoda azizilumko awayiseli konke konke iwayini.” KwiBhayibhile yesiXhosa le ndinyana ithi: “Ingumgxeki iwayini, singumxokozeli isiselo esinxilisayo; bonke abayotywe yiyo abalumkile.” Kwakhona, iBhayibhile ayibagwebi abo basela iwayini kodwa, kunoko, igweba abo bakhohliswayo yiyo! “Abo balibala ewayinini” ‘namasela-wayini’—aba ngaba ‘bangezo zilumko.’

Kwakhona, qwalasela uIsaya 5:11, 22. Ezi ndinyana zifundeka ngolu hlobo: “Yeha, abavuka kusasa, besukela isiselo esinxilisayo; balibale kude kube lungcwalazi, ide ibatshise iwayini! Yeha, abangamagorha okusela iwayini; abangamadoda akrotele ukuphithikeza isiselo esinxilisayo.” Yintoni le uIsaya ayigxekayo? Asikokusela ngokugqithiseleyo kusini na, oko kukuthi, ukusela ukususela “kusasa” kude kube “lungcwalazi”?

Abakhonzi abathembekileyo bakaThixo—abanjengoAbraham, uIsake noYesu—kuthethwa ngabo njengabasela iwayini ngobungcathu. (Genesis 14:18; 27:25; Luka 7:34) IBhayibhile ikwakhankanya iwayini phakathi kweentsikelelo ezivela kuYehova. (Genesis 27:37; Duteronomi 11:14; Isaya 25:6-8) IBhayibhile ide ibonise ukuba xa iselwe ngobungcathu iwayini inokuba nemiphumo eyingenelo. Iwayini ‘iyayivuyisa intliziyo yomntu,’ watsho umdumisi. (INdumiso 104:15) Umpostile uPawulos wancomela oku kuTimoti: “Musa ukuba sasela manzi [angcolileyo]; sela intwana yewayini, ngenxa yesisu sakho, nobulwelwe bakho obufuthi.”—1 Timoti 5:23.

Ngaba Yayiyiwayini Okanye Yayiyincindi Yeediliya?

Bambi bathi “iwayini” ekuthethwa ngayo kwizicatshulwa ezinjalo zeBhayibhile yayiyincindi nje eqhelekileyo yeediliya. Phofu ke, iCyclopedia kaMcClintock noStrong isikhumbuza ukuba “iBhayibhile ayenzi mahluko phakathi kwewayini enxilisayo nenganxilisiyo—ayize ibhekisele ngokungqalileyo okanye ngokungangqalanga kumahluko onjalo.” Ngokuvumelana noku, eBhayibhileni “iwayini” iboniswa isisiselo esinamandla ibe inxulunyaniswa ‘nesiselo esinxilisayo.’—Genesis 9:21; Luka 1:15; Duteronomi 14:26; IMizekeliso 31:4, 6.

Yathi kuye, Wonke umntu ubeka kuqala iwayini emnandi, aze xa bathe basela bakholisa, andule ukubeka enganeno kwaleyo; wena uyibandezile iwayini emnandi, kwada kwangoku.’ (Yohane 2:9, 10) Ewe, “iwayini emnandi” uYesu awayenzayo yayiyiwayini yokoqobo.

Eneneni, iinkokeli zonqulo ezazizenza amalungisa ngomhla kaYesu zamgxeka ngokusela iwayini ngamathub’ athile. UYesu wathi: “Uzile uYohane umbhaptizi engadli sonka, engaseli wayini; nithi ke. Unedemon. Uzile uNyana woMntu esidla, esela; nithi, Khanibone umntu olidla-kudla, olisela-wayini!” (Luka 7:33, 34) Ngekwakwahluke ngantoni ukusela kukaYesu nokungaseli kukaYohane ukuba uYesu wayesela incindi yeediliya engaphithikezwanga kuphela? Khumbula ukuba, kwathiwa uYohane aze “angakhe asele wayini nasiselo sinxilisayo.”—Luka 1:15.

Ngokucacileyo, uYesu akazange akugxeke ukuselwa kweziselo ezinxilisayo ngobungcathu. Ngomhla wakhe ukuselwa kwewayini kwakuyinxalenye yokubhiyozela iPasika.a Ibe iwayini yokoqobo yaqhubeka iyinxalenye yeSidlo seNkosi Sangokuhlwa, esathabatha indawo yePasika.

Kufuneka Kusetyenziswe Ingqiqo

Ngoko iBhayibhile ayikwaleli ukuselwa kweziselo ezinxilisayo. Kwiimeko ezininzi, ukusisela isiselo esinxilisayo okanye ukungasiseli kuxhomekeka kwisigqibo sobuqu. Kanti iBhayibhile ibugxeka kanobom ubunxila, kwandawonye nobudlakudla isithi: “Musa ukuba phakathi kwamasela-wayini, . . . kwamadla-kudla; kuba isela-wayini nedla-kudla liyahlwempuzeka.” (IMizekeliso 23:20, 21) Ngaloo ndlela, sonke sifanele sibonakalise ubungcathu nokuzeyisa. “Musani ukunxila yiwayini, ekukhoyo kuloo nto ukuzibhubhisa; manizaliswe nguMoya.” Khumbula ukuba, ukuzeyisa kusesinye seziqhamo zomoya kaThixo.—Efese 5:18; Galati 5:19-23.

Eneneni, akuyomfuneko ukuba umntu ade anxile abe ludaka ukuze utywala bumfake engxakini. Incwadana ebhalwe liZiko Lesizwe Lokusetyenziswa Kakubi Kweziyobisi eUnited States isikhumbuza oku: “Xa umntu esele, utywala bufunxwa ligazi ukutyhubela inkqubo yometyiso buze bufikelele ebuchotsheni ngokukhawuleza. Buqalisa ukuwadodobalisa amalungu obuchopho alawula ukucinga neemvakalelo. Umntu lowo uziva engakwazi ukuzilawula, ekhululeke ngakumbi.” Le mvakalelo ‘yokungakwazi ukuzilawula’ inokumenza umntu achanabeke kwiingozi zokuziphatha.

Enye ingozi ibakho xa kufikelelwa kumbandela wokuqhuba. Kuqikelelwa ukuba, ngabantu abangama-25 000 abathi bayambathe ingubo kaqaqaqa ngonyaka kwelaseUnited States kuphela ngenxa yeengozi ezibangelwa ngabaqhubi abanxilileyo. Kuyabonakala ukuba, abaninzi bayijongela phantsi gqitha indlela ukusela ngokugqithiseleyo okuzenza buthathaka ngayo iintshukumo zomzimba. Kodwa amaKristu anembono yokuba ubomi busisipho esivela kuYehova. (INdumiso 36:9) Ngaba bekuya kuba ngokuvumelana nale mbono xa umntu ebubek’ esichengeni ubomi bakhe, nobabanye, ngokuqhuba ngoxa iintshukumo zakhe zomzimba zenziwe buthathaka butywala? Ngaloo ndlela, amaKristu amaninzi aye agqiba kwelokuba angabuchukumisi konke konke utywala xa eza kuqhuba.

Kwakhona umKristu uyixhalabele indlela ukusela kwakhe okunokubachaphazela ngayo abanye. Ngokungathandabuzekiyo kungenxa yeso sizathu le nto abaveleli abangamaKristu, izicaka zolungiselelo nabafazi abakhulileyo bonke beyalwa ukuba bangazinikeli “kwiwayini eninzi.” (1 Timoti 3:2, 3, 8; Tito 2:2, 3) Nangona omnye umntu esenokunganxili nokuba usele kakhulu, ukuphaphele ukusela ngobungcathu khon’ ukuze kungabikho mntu amphembelela ngokuphosakeleyo; engazami nokubunyanzela utywala kulowo ungazimisele kusela. Ngokubhekele phaya iBhayibhile ithi: “Kuhle ukuba ungadli nyama, ungaseli wayini, ungenzi nto angabetheka kuyo umzalwana wakho, akhubeke kuyo, aswele amandla okuzigcina.”—Roma 14:21.

Kwezinye iimeko kusenokude kufuneke ukuba uyeke ukusela. Khawucinge ngokumitha. I-International Herald Tribune (uhlelo lwaseParis) yachaza ngohlolisiso olwenziwa kwiYunivesithi yoMntla Carolina (eUnited States) yaza yabika ukuba “ukusela kakhulu isihlandlo nje esinye ngoxa usaqala ukukhulelwa kusenokuphumela ekubeni loo mveku ikhulayo yenzakale emzimbeni nasengqondweni.” Amabhinqa afanele acingisise nzulu ngokuzibek’ esichengeni okunjalo okusenokubangelwa kukusela ngoxa emithi.

Abo baneminyaka emininzi beziindlamanzi okanye benotyekelo lokusela ngokugqithiseleyo basenokukufumanisa kukokona kulungileyo ukuyeka ngokupheleleyo ukusela.b Ngokukwanjalo bekusenokuba kokona kulungileyo ukukuphepha ukusela phambi komntu olikhoboka lotywala okanye osazela sakhe sikugxekayo ukusela. Yaye ukusela iziselo ezinxilisayo ngaphambi kokuya kwiintlanganiso zamaKristu okanye xa usemsebenzini wokushumayela esidlangalaleni bekuya kuba kokungafanelekanga. AbaLevi bamandulo basimisela umzekelo koku ngokuthi bangaseli xa besemsebenzini etempileni.—Levitikus 10:8-10.

Okokugqibela, sifanele siyithobele imithetho yelizwe. Kumazwe athile utywala balelwe ngokupheleleyo. Kwamanye, buvunyelwe kuphela kubantu abakhulileyo abangaphezu kobudala obuthile. UmKristu uyayithobela imithetho enjalo ‘yamagunya awongamileyo.’—Roma 13:1.

Kambe ke, enoba uza kuzisela iziselo ezinxilisayo okanye akunjalo okanye uya kusela kakhulu okanye kancinane kangakanani na oko kuxhomekeke kwizigqibo zakho siqu. UThixo uyazukiswa xa sisebenzisa ingqiqo size ngokuvumayo sikhethe ikhondo lobungcathu. Ngoko, lilandele eli khondo lobulumko khon’ ukuze ‘nokuba uyadla, nokuba uyasela, nokuba wenza nayiphi na into, uzenzele uzuko lukaThixo izinto zonke.’—1 Korinte 10:31.
