Benza Ukuthanda Kukayehova

Oyena Mntu Ubalaseleyo Unikela Inkonzo Yokuzithoba

UYESU wayesazi ukuba iiyure zokugqibela nabapostile bakhe yayiya kuba zezixabisekileyo. Kungekudala, wayeza kubanjwa, yaye ukholo lwakhe lwaluza kuvavanywa ngeyona ndlela. Kwakhona uYesu wayesazi ukuba iintsikelelo ezingakumbi zazisemnyango. Kungekudala wayeza kuphakanyiselwa kwisandla sokunene sikaThixo aze anikwe “igama elingaphezu kwalo lonke elinye igama, khon’ ukuze egameni likaYesu agobe onke amadolo abo basezulwini nawabo basemhlabeni nawabo baphantsi komhlaba.”​—⁠Filipi 2:​9, 10.

Ukanti, uYesu akazange aphazanyiswe lixhala lokufa kwakhe okwakukufuphi okanye umnqweno womvuzo awayewuthenjisiwe ekunikeleni ingqalelo kwiimfuno zabapostile bakhe. Kamva uYohane wabhala oku kwiVangeli yakhe: “Wabathanda de kwasekupheleni.” (Yohane 13:⁠1) Yaye kwezi yure zokugqibela zobomi bakhe njengomntu ofezekileyo, uYesu wabafundisa isifundo esibalulekileyo abafundi bakhe.

Isifundo Sokuthobeka

Abapostile babekunye noYesu kwigumbi eliphezulu eYerusalem ukuze babhiyozele iPasika. Ngaphambilana, uYesu wayebeve bephikisana ngokuba ngubani oyena mkhulu phakathi kwabo. (Mateyu 18:⁠1; Marko 9:​33, 34) Wayewuxubushile lo mbandela nabo waza wazama nokulungisa imbono yabo. (Luka 9:​46) Noko ke, ngesi sihlandlo, uYesu ugxininisa ezo zifundo esebenzisa indlela eyahlukileyo. Akazange akhethe ukuthetha ngokuthobeka nje kuphela kubo kodwa wakubonisa.

UYohane ubhala esithi uYesu “wasukuma esidlweni sangokuhlwa waza wazibekela ecaleni izambatho zakhe zangaphandle. Ethabatha itawuli, wabhinqa. Emva koko wafaka amanzi esityeni waza waqala ukuhlamba iinyawo zabafundi nokuzomisa ngetawuli awayeyibhinqile.”​—⁠Yohane 13:​4, 5.

Kwimozulu efudumeleyo yoMbindi Mpuma wamandulo, abantu ngokuqhelekileyo babenxiba iimbadada njengokuba babehamba kwiindlela ezazinothuli. Emva kokuba bengene kwikhaya lomntu ophantsi, babebuliswa ngumamkeli zindwendwe, owayesiza nezitya namanzi ukuze bakwazi ukuhlamba iinyawo zabo. Kumakhaya ezityebi, wawusenziwa sisicaka lo msebenzi wokuhlamba iinyawo.​—⁠ABagwebi 19:​21; 1 Samuweli 25:​40-⁠42.

Kwigumbi eliphezulu, uYesu nabapostile bakhe babengezondwendwe zamntu. Kwakungekho mntu wayeza kulungiselela izitya, yaye kwakungekho zicaka ezaziza kuhlamba iinyawo. Xa uYesu waqalisa ukuhlamba iinyawo zabo, abapostile badana. Apha Oyena mntu mkhulu phakathi kwabo nguye owenza owona msebenzi uphantsi!

Ekuqaleni, uPetros wala ukuba uYesu ahlambe iinyawo zakhe. Kodwa uYesu wamxelela oku: “Ngaphandle kokuba ndikuhlambe, akunanxalenye kum.” Emva kokuba uYesu egqibile ukuhlamba iinyawo zabo bonke abapostile bakhe, wathi: “Niyakwazi na endikwenzileyo kuni? Nindibiza ngokuthi, ‘Mfundisi,’ nangokuthi, ‘Nkosi,’ ibe nithetha ngokufanelekileyo, kuba ndinjalo. Ngoko ke, ukuba mna, nangona ndiyiNkosi noMfundisi, ndihlambe iinyawo zenu, nani nifanele ukuhlambana iinyawo. Kuba ndinibekela isizekelo, ukuba, kanye njengoko ndenjenjalo kuni, nifanele nenjenjalo nani.”​—⁠Yohane 13:​6-⁠15.

UYesu wayengamiseli isithethe sokuhlanjwa kweenyawo. Kunoko, wayenceda abapostile bakhe ukuba babe nesimo sengqondo esitsha​—⁠eso sokuthobeka nokuvuma ukwenza owona msebenzi uphantsi bewenzela abazalwana babo. Kuyabonakala ukuba bayifumana ingongoma. Cinga ngoko kwenzeka kwiminyaka kamva xa kwaphakama imbambano ngenxa yolwaluko. Nangona kwabakho “ukuphikisana okukhulu,” abo babekho bagcina ucwangco baza baziphulaphula ngokunentlonelo iimbono zabanye. Ukongezelela, kubonakala ukuba lowo wayevelela kuloo ntlanganiso yayingumfundi uYakobi​—⁠ongenguye omnye wabapostile, njengokuba besinokulindela njalo, ngenxa yokuba babekho. Le ngxelo ineenkcukacha kwiZenzo ibonisa ukuba abapostile babehambele phambili ekubonakaliseni ukuthobeka.​—⁠IZenzo 15:​6-⁠29.

Oko Sikufundayo

Ngokuhlamba iinyawo zabafundi bakhe, uYesu wadlulisela esona sifundo sibalulekileyo sokuthobeka. Enyanisweni, amaKristu akamele acinge ukuba abaluleke kangangokuba amanye amele asoloko ekhonza wona, okanye akamele alangazelele izikhundla eziza kuwenza ahlonelwe aze adume. Kunoko, amele alandele umzekelo awawushiyelwa nguYesu, ‘oweza kungekhona ukuba alungiselelwe, kodwa ukuze alungiselele nokuze anikele ngomphefumlo wakhe ube yintlawulelo ngenxa yabaninzi.’ (Mateyu 20:​28) Ewe, abalandeli bakaYesu bamele bakulungele ukwe-​nza owona msebenzi uphantsi bewenzela abanye.

Enesizathu esihle uPetros wabhala: “Bhinqani ukuthobeka kwengqondo omnye ngakomnye, ngenxa yokuba uThixo ubachasile abo banekratshi, kodwa ubanika ububele obungasifanelanga abo bathobekileyo.” (1 Petros 5:⁠5) Igama lesiGrike elithetha ‘ukubhinqa’ lisuka kwigama elithetha “ifaskoti yesicaka,” eyayibotshelelwa phezu kwesinye isambatho esiyekeyeke. Ngaba uPetros wayebhekisela kwisenzo sikaYesu sokubhinqa itawuli aze ahlambe iinyawo zabapostile bakhe? Oku akunakuqinisekwa ngako. Phofu ke, isenzo sikaYesu sokuthobeka yaba sisenzo esingacimekiyo entliziyweni kaPetros, njengokuba kumele kube njalo kwiintliziyo zabo bonke abo bafuna ukuba ngabalandeli bakaKristu.​—⁠Kolose 3:​12-14.
