35 On that very night the angel of Jehovah went out and struck down 185,000 men in the camp of the As·syrʹi·ans.+ When people rose up early in the morning, they saw all the dead bodies.+

18 And they seized* the apostles and put them in the public jail.+ 19 But during the night, Jehovah’s* angel opened the doors of the prison,+ brought them out, and said:

11 And Peter, realizing what was happening, said: “Now I know for sure that Jehovah* sent his angel and rescued me from Herod’s hand and from everything that the Jews were expecting to happen.”+
