Ukuvuma Izono—Indlela Yomuntu Noma EkaNkulunkulu?

PHAKATHI kwamaKatolika, ukuvuma izono kuye kwashintsha ngokuphawulekayo emakhulwini eminyaka. Eminyakeni yokuqala yeSonto LamaKatolika, ukuvuma izono nokuzihlawulisa kwakufuneka ezonweni ezingathi sína kuphela. “Izihluthulelo Zombuso”

Kwesinye isenzakalo, uJesu Kristu watshela umphostoli uPetru: “Ngiyokunika izihluthulelo zombuso wezulu: noma yini oyoyibopha emhlabeni iyobhekwa njengeboshiwe ezulwini; noma yini oyoyikhulula emhlabeni iyobhekwa njengekhululiwe ezulwini.” (Mathewu 16:19, The Jerusalem Bible) UJesu wayesho ukuthini uma ethi “izihluthulelo zombuso”? Singakuqonda kangcono lokhu uma sibheka esinye isenzakalo lapho uJesu asebenzisa khona igama elithi “isihluthulelo.”

UJesu wake watshela abaholi benkolo abangamaJuda ababejwayelene nomthetho kaMose: “Maye kinina bameli eniye nasusa isihluthulelo solwazi! Aningenanga nina ngokwenu, futhi niye navimbela abanye abebefuna ukungena.” (Luka 11:52, JB) ‘Bavimbele abanye ukuba bangene’ kuphi? UJesu kuMathewu 23:13 uyasitshela: “Maye kinina, babhali nabaFarisi, bazenzisi ndini! Nivala umbuso wezulu phambi kwabantu, aningeni nina futhi anibavumeli nabanye abafuna ukungena.” (JB) Abefundisi abangamaJuda bavalela abaningi umnyango, ngokungathi kunjalo, ngokubancisha ithuba lokuba noJesu Kristu ezulwini. “Isihluthulelo” labo baholi benkolo ‘ababesisusile’ sasingahlangene ngalutho nokuthethelelwa kwezono. Kwakuyisihluthulelo solwazi olulungiselelwe ngokwaphezulu.

Ngokufanayo, “izihluthulelo zombuso” ezanikwa uPetru azimeleli amandla okwazisa izulu ukuthi ezobani izono okufanele zithethelelwe noma zingathethelelwa. Kunalokho, zimelela ilungelo elikhulu likaPetru lokuvula indlela eya ezulwini ngokusakaza ulwazi olulungiselelwe ngokwaphezulu ngenkonzo yakhe. “Noma Yini Eniyibophayo Emhlabeni”

Kamuva, lokho uJesu akutshela uPetru kwaphindwa nakwabanye abafundi. “Ngiqinisile ngithi kini,” kusho uJesu, “noma yini eniyibophayo emhlabeni iyobhekwa njengeboshiwe ezulwini; noma yini eniyikhululayo emhlabeni iyobhekwa njengekhululiwe ezulwini.” (Mathewu 18:18, JB) Yiliphi igunya uKristu alinikeza abafundi bakhe lapha? Umongo ubonisa ukuthi wayekhuluma ngokuxazulula izinkinga phakathi kwamakholwa ngamanye nokugcina ibandla lihlanzekile lingenazo izoni ezingaphenduki.—Mathewu 18:15-17.

Ezindabeni ezihilela ukwephulwa okungathi sína komthetho kaNkulunkulu, amadoda anomthwalo wemfanelo ebandleni kwakuyomelwe ahlulele izindaba futhi anqume noma isoni kufanele ‘siboshwe’ (sibhekwe njengesinecala) noma ‘sikhululwe’ (sikhululwe ecaleni). Ingabe lokhu kwakusho ukuthi abasezulwini babeyolandela izinqumo zabantu? Cha. Njengoba isazi seBhayibheli uRobert Young sibonisa, noma yisiphi isinqumo esenziwa abafundi sasiyolandela isinqumo sasezulwini, singasanduleli. Sithi ivesi 18 kufanele ngokwezwi nezwi lifundeke ngokuthi: Enikubophayo emhlabeni “kuyoba osekuboshiwe (kakade)” ezulwini.

Ngempela, akunangqondo ukucabanga ukuthi noma yimuphi umuntu ongaphelele angenza izinqumo eziyobopha kulabo abasemagcekeni asezulwini. Kunengqondo ngokwengeziwe ukuthi abameleli bakaKristu abamisiwe babeyolandela iziqondiso zakhe ukuze bagcine ibandla lakhe lihlanzekile. Lokhu babeyokwenza ngokwenza isinqumo esisekelwe ezimisweni esezimisiwe kakade ezulwini. UJesu ngokwakhe wayeyobaqondisa ekwenzeni lokhu.—Mathewu 18:20.

Ingabe ukhona umuntu okwaziyo “ukumelela uKristu njengomahluleli onjengobaba” ngezinga lokuthi anqume ikusasa laphakade lomkhulekeli akanye naye? (New Catholic Encyclopedia) Abefundisi abalalela ukuvunywa kwezono cishe ngokungaguquki bakhulula abantu esonweni, ngisho nakuba “kubonakala ukuthi kukhona inkolelo okungakhulunywa ngayo [phakathi kwezazi zenkolo ezingamaKatolika] yokuthi akuvamile ukuthi umuntu azisole ngempela ngezono zakhe.” (The New Encyclopædia Britannica) Ngempela, wagcina nini ukuzwa ngomfundisi owenqaba ukukhulula umuntu esonweni noma ukukhulula isoni ecaleni? Ngokunokwenzeka, lokhu kungenxa yokuthi umfundisi ngamunye akacabangi ukuthi unamandla okwahlulela ukuthi isoni siyaphenduka noma cha. Kodwa uma lokhu kunjalo, kungani ethi unamandla okukhulula umuntu esonweni?

Cabanga ngenkantolo yomthetho lapho umahluleli onesihawu evame khona ukukhulula izigebengu ecaleni, ngisho nezaphula-mthetho eziphikelelayo, ngoba ziye zakwenza umkhuba ukuvuma ubugebengu bazo futhi zicele intethelelo. Nakuba lokhu kungase kuzanelise izoni, umbono onjalo odukile womusa ubuyokululaza ngokungathi sína ukuhlonishwa kokwahlulela ngokulunga. Bekungaba yini ukuthi ukuvuma izono okwenziwa eSontweni LamaKatolika empeleni kwenza abantu baphikelele enkambweni yesono?—UmShumayeli 8:11.

“Ukuvuma izono akuvezi noma yikuphi ukuthambekela kokuzama ukugwema isono esikhathini esizayo,” kusho uRamona, ethathela kokuhlangenwe nakho kwakhe kokuvuma izono njengomKatolika kusukela eneminyaka eyisikhombisa ubudala. Uyanezela: “Ukuvuma izono kwakha umbono wokuthi uNkulunkulu uthethelela yonke into nokuthi noma yini inyama yakho engaphelele ekuholela ukuba uyenze uNkulunkulu uzoyithethelela. Akwakhi isifiso esijulile sokwenza okulungile.”a

Kodwa kuthiwani ngamazwi kaJesu alotshwe kuJohane 20:22, 23? Lapho watshela abafundi bakhe: “Yamukelani uMoya Ongcwele. Labo enizithethelelayo izono zabo, bayathethelelwa; labo eningazithetheleli izono zabo, abathethelelwa.” (JB) Ingabe uJesu lapha akanikezi abafundi bakhe ngokukhethekile igunya lokuthethelela izono?

Uma ifundwa yodwa, lendinyana yeBhayibheli ingase ibonakale isho lokho. Nokho, lapho lamazwi ecatshangelwa kanye nokulandisa okukuMathewu 18:15-18 kanye nakho konke okunye iBhayibheli elikufundisayo ngokuvuma izono nangentethelelo, yini okumelwe siphethe ngayo? Ukuthi kuJohane 20:22, 23, uJesu wanikeza abafundi bakhe igunya lokubaxosha ebandleni abenzi bezono ezimbi kakhulu abangaphenduki. Ngesikhathi esifanayo, uKristu wanikeza abalandeli bakhe igunya lokubonisa umusa nokuthethelela izoni eziphendukayo. Ngokuqinisekile uJesu wayengasho ukuthi abafundi bakhe kufanele bavume zonke izono kumfundisi.

Kanjalo abanomthwalo wemfanelo ebandleni bagunyazwa ukuba banqume ukuthi bangasebenzelana kanjani nalabo abenza izono ezimbi kakhulu. Izinqumo ezinjalo zaziyokwenziwa ngaphansi kokuqondisa komoya ongcwele kaNkulunkulu nangokuvumelana neziqondiso zikaNkulunkulu ezinikezwe ngoJesu Kristu nangemiBhalo Engcwele. (Qhathanisa nezEnzo 5:1-5; 1 Korinte 5:1-5, 11-13.) Kanjalo, lawomadoda anomthwalo wemfanelo ayeyosabela esiqondisweni esivela ezulwini, hhayi ukuba adlulisele izinqumo zawo ezulwini.

“Vumani Izono Zenu Komunye Nomunye”

Khona-ke, kunini lapho kufaneleke khona ngamaKristu ukuba avume izono zawo komunye nomunye? Endabeni yesono esingathi sína (hhayi kukho konke ukuhluleka okuncane), umuntu kufanele avume isono sakhe kubabonisi bebandla abanomthwalo wemfanelo. Ngisho noma isono singesikhulu kangako kodwa unembeza wesoni usihlupha ngokweqile, kubaluleke kakhulu ukuba sivume isono saso futhi sifune usizo olungokomoya.

Ngalokhu umlobi weBhayibheli uJakobe uthi: “Uma omunye wenu egula [ngokomoya], kufanele abize abadala bebandla, futhi kumelwe bamgcobe ngamafutha egameni leNkosi futhi bamthandazele. Umthandazo wokholo uyosindisa umuntu ogulayo futhi iNkosi iyophinde imvuse; futhi uma kukhona izono azenzile, uyothethelelwa. Ngakho vumani izono zenu komunye nomunye, futhi nithandazelane.”—Jakobe 5:14-16, JB.

Kulamazwi, akukho okusikisela ukuvuma izono okuyisimiso esithile, isiko, kwangasese. Kunalokho, lapho umKristu esindwa kakhulu isono aze abe nomuzwa wokuthi akanakuthandaza, kufanele abize abadala abamisiwe, noma ababonisi, bebandla, futhi bazothandaza naye. Ukuze bamsize alulame ngokomoya, bayosebenzisa namafutha eZwi likaNkulunkulu.—IHubo 141:5; qhathanisa noLuka 5:31, 32; IsAmbulo 3:18.

Okuphawulekayo isiyalo sikaJohane uMbhapathizi ‘sokuveza izithelo ezifanele ukuphenduka.’ (Mathewu 3:8; qhathanisa nezEnzo 26:20.) Isoni esiphenduka ngempela silahla inkambo yaso enesono. NjengeNkosi uDavide yakwaIsrayeli wasendulo, isoni esiphendukayo esivuma iphutha laso kuNkulunkulu siyothethelelwa. UDavide wabhala: “Ngasivuma isono sami kuwe, angisifihlanga isiphambeko sami; ngathi: Ngizakuzivuma izono zami kuJehova; wena wathethelela icala lesono sami.”—IHubo 32:5.

Izenzo zokuzisola azinakuzuza intethelelo enjalo. UNkulunkulu kuphela ongayinikeza. Ucabangela izimfuneko zokwahlulela ngokulunga okuphelele, kodwa intethelelo yakhe ibonakalisa uthando lwakhe ngesintu. Intethelelo yakhe futhi iwukubonakaliswa komusa ongasifanele osekelwe emhlatshelweni wesihlengo kaJesu Kristu futhi inikeza izoni eziphendukayo kuphela eziye zadeda kulokho uNkulunkulu akubona kukubi. (IHubo 51:7; Isaya 1:18; Johane 3:16; Roma 3:23-26) Yilabo kuphela abathethelelwe uJehova uNkulunkulu abayozuza ukuphila okuphakade. Futhi ukuze sithole ukuthethelelwa okunjalo, kumelwe sivume izono ngendlela kaNkulunkulu, hhayi eyomuntu.
