TEACH THE TRUTH
Witness: Have you noticed that some married people seem happy, while others don’t
Non-witness: SHY
Witness: What do you think makes for a happy marriage?
Non-witness: I don’t know. Maybe it depends on if they were raised the same way?
Witness: That’s interesting, I’m sure having similar background would help a married couple think similar to one another. Let me show you one other important factor that makes for a happy marriage. [Eph 5:33]
Witness: Do you agree that love and respect are important?
Non-witness: Yeah, I agree
Witness: It true, marriages flourish when they are built on love and respect. You know the bible is full of practical advice that can help us in all aspects of life
BIBLE QUESTIONS ANSWERED
Witness: The Bible seems such a daunting book, many people wonder what it is really about. Why do you think it was written?
Non-witness: I don’t know. It’s so old it doesn’t seem like it could really help me much.
Witness: Many people feel the same way, but notice what the Bible itself says about why it was written. [Romans 15:4] Did you notice some reasons the Bible was written?
Non-witness: To teach and help me?
Witness: That is true, and it also offers hope for a positive future. Please watch this video about why it is important for us to study the Bible. [“Why Study the Bible”] Would you like to learn more?
Non-witness: Yes I would like that.
Witness: I would be happy to come back next week and discuss more about the positive hope for the future from the Bible as explained in this DVD [dvqua]
Non-witness: Sure.
