16 “For God loved+ the world* so much that he gave his only-begotten Son,+ in order that everyone exercising faith+ in him might not be destroyed+ but have everlasting life.+

32 He who did not even spare his own Son+ but delivered him up for us all,+ why will he not also with him kindly give us all other things?+

14 who gave himself+ for us that he might deliver+ us from every sort of lawlessness and cleanse+ for himself a people peculiarly his own,+ zealous for fine works.+

7 However, if we are walking in the light as he himself is in the light,+ we do have a sharing with one another,+ and the blood+ of Jesus his Son cleanses+ us from all sin.+

16 By this we have come to know love,+ because that one surrendered his soul* for us;+ and we are under obligation to surrender [our] souls* for [our]* brothers.+
