20 in harmony with my eager expectation+ and hope+ that I shall not be ashamed+ in any respect, but that in all freeness of speech+ Christ will, as always before, so now be magnified by means of my body,+ whether through life or through death.+

12 For this very cause I am also suffering+ these things, but I am not ashamed.+ For I know the one whom I have believed, and I am confident* he is able to guard+ what I have laid up in trust with him until that day.+

2 as we look intently at the Chief Agent*+ and Perfecter of our faith,+ Jesus. For the joy that was set before him he endured+ a torture stake,* despising shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.+
