GUI 3 Our Strength, Our Hope, Our Confidence

WETIN WE COMING LEARN?a

1. Zɛɓɛi e ɣɛni ga keela woi Isaiah feeni beaitiɛ ya?

THE prophet Isaiah say Jehovah that “the God of truth.” The word they translate as “truth” mean “amen.” (Isa. 65:16, ftn.) “Amen” mean “so be it,” or “surely.” When the Bible talking about Jehovah or Jesus and use the word “amen,” it prove that what Jehovah and Jesus say or do that true. So, Isaiah message to the Israelite them was clear: Anytime Jehovah say something, it can always happen. Jehovah na prove this one by always fulfilling all his promise them.

2. Zɛɓɛi e kɛɛ maa nɛɛ a de la ga ki-togi niitiɛ Jehova fea de ya e vile ŋinaa ŋeteai va, na ɣa ɣɛɛna gaa-zaɣa-kɛɛtiɛ ta ga zɛɓɛ de vaazu gaa wotesu?

2 You think we can also trust that Jehovah promise them about the future will come true? Almost 800 years after Isaiah time, the apostle Paul explain why we can be sure that God promise them will always come true. Paul say: “It not possible for God to lie.” (Heb. 6:18) Just how creek can’t get clean water and salty water at the same time, that the same way Jehovah can’t lie because that him truth coming from. That why we can put all our trust in anything that Jehovah say and in all his promise them about our future. In this article, we will answer this question them: Wetin Jehovah na promise to give us in the future? And how Jehovah na convince us that his promise will come true?

KI-TO SƐƁƐI JEHOVA FEA?

3. (a) i-togitiɛ ta ga zɛɓɛ Jehova ʋeli veaitiɛ te wõini la ɓɔɔ ga ʋike? (Faa wuloai kɛnɛ ma 21:3, 4) (b) Numaa taniga ta de woo ɣaa wote ɣɛ le ani da ki-togi niitiɛ lɛɛna ga tiɛ?

3 God servant them all over the world really like the promise we coming talk about. (Read Revelation 21:3, 4.) Jehovah promise that time will come when “nobody will die again, nobody will grieve or cry or feel pain again.” Plenty of us can use this Bible verse here to comfort people we can preach to and show them how life will be looking in Paradise. Wetin some people can say when we tell them about this promise? Sometime they can say, “This thing them really sounding good, but I not believe they will happen.”

4. (a) Zɛɓɛi Jehova ɣɛni kwɛ̃ni, na ɣa ɣɛɛna zɛɓɛi ya pɛtɛ ɔ vɛɛ ɣɛɛzu? (b) Zɛɓɛi Jehova ɣa kɛ e wulo ki-togitiɛ wulu ya fe?

4 So, when Jehovah tell the apostle John to write this promise about life in Paradise, Jehovah knew that in our time, we were coming tell other people about it when we preaching. Jehovah also knew that it was coming to be hard for plenty people to believe that this thing them will happen. (Isa. 42:9; 60:2; 2 Cor. 4:3, 4) So how we can convince ourselves and other people that the blessing them in Revelation 21:3, 4 will come true? Jehovah not only make this promise but he also gave us good reasons why we can put our trust in it. What the reason them he give?

JEHOVA DƐƐVƐ GA NIITIƐ E BOGA TA VAAZU ƔƐƐZU

5. Zaɓui taniga ta ga zɛɓɛ ya kɛ de la ga ki-togi Jehova fea e vile zuu vagɔi va, tɔwɔ minɛɛ ɣa da te vɛtɛ na?

5 We can find reasons to trust Jehovah promise about Paradise in the Bible verse them that say: “The Person sitting down on the throne say: ‘Look! I making everything new.’ He also say: ‘Write, because all this word them faithful and true.’ Then he tell me say: ‘They already na happen! I the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end.’”—Rev. 21:5, 6a.

6. Zɛɓɛi e kɛɛ ki-togi nii e Faa wuloai kɛnɛ ma 21:5, 6 zu, ɣa da yee-la-mai zuɓaa e vile Jehova na ki-togitiɛ va?

6 Why this Bible verse them can make our trust in God promise strong? Talking about this verse them, the Revelation Climax book say: “It looking just like Jehovah himself was signing document to convince us that his promise them will come true.”b We can find God promise in Revelation 21:3, 4. In verse 5 and 6, he put his signature there to convince us that his promise will surely come true. Let look at this verse them good-good to see how Jehovah convince us that we can trust him.

7. Zɛɓɛi e kɛɛ de laa ʋai ga Gala na ki-togitiɛ e ɓɔɔ ga fai kuloai ba leilaa tɔwɔ zɛɓɛi e kɛɛ gaamai na ga faa ɓi?

7 Verse 5 start by saying: “The Person sitting down on the throne say.” (Rev. 21:5a) This word them important because that one of the three times that Jehovah himself talk through vision in the book of Revelation. So to convince us, Jehovah self-self gave this message! He not gave it through angel or even Jesus. This one prove that we can trust the next thing them he say. Why? Because Jehovah “can’t lie.” (Titus 1:2) So the thing them we read about in Revelation 21:5, 6 will surely come true.

’WƐLƐ! GA FAA PƐ KƐƐZU GA MANIINƐ’

8. Zɛɓɛi Jehova boga e vile na ki-togitiɛ va? (Isaiah 46:10)

8 Next, yor let look at the word “Look!” (Rev. 21:5) The Bible use the Greek word they translate “look!”, plenty time in the book of Revelation. One research work say they use the word “look!” with the exclamation mark to tell the reader to pay more attention to the next thing that coming.” Wetin God say next? God say: “I making everything new”, he not say “I will make everything new.” That true, Jehovah will fulfill all his promise them in the future. But because he really sure that he will fulfill this promise, he saying it just like he already doing it now-now.—Read Isaiah 46:10.

9. (a) Woi nii ga, ga ’fai pɛ kɛɛzu ga maaniinɛ’ tɔ yɛpɛzu ɣɛ le e vile faa felegɔ va Jehova vaazu kɛɛzu? (b) Zɛɓɛi e vaazu ɣɛɛzu ga “gee-wɔlɔgi” ɓɔga “zui”?

9 Jehovah say: “I making everything new.” What this one mean? This Bible chapter talking about two things Jehovah will do. First, He will destroy the old system. Second, He will bring the new system. Revelation 21:1 say: “The former heaven and the former earth na pass away.” “The former heaven” talking about the government them that Satan and his demons controlling. (Matt. 4:8, 9; 1 John 5:19) In the Bible, the word “earth” can also mean people. (Gen. 11:1; Ps. 96:1) So, “the former earth” talking about the wicked people that living on the earth today. Jehovah will not improve the government and the wicked people them but he will destroy them forever. Then He will bring “the new heaven and the new earth”, this one mean that new government will be ruling over the good-good people.

10. Zɛɓɛi Jehova vaazu kɛɛzu ga maniinɛ?

10 In Revelation 21:5, Jehovah talk about the thing them he will make new. Notice that Jehovah not say, “I making so-so new things.” But he say: “I making everything new.” So, Jehovah will make the earth and human being new by making them perfect. Isaiah say, Jehovah will make the whole earth beautiful like the garden of Eden. He will also make us new by healing us one by one. Jehovah will heal cripple people, blind people and people who can’t hear. He will even bring people back to life.—Isa. 25:8; 35:1-7.

“KULOVƐ BU WOI NIITIƐ VƐ GA NU LA GA TIƐ TE GA GAAMA. . . . TE ƔƐƐ!”

11. Zɛɓɛi Jehova boni Jɔ̃ ma na ɣa ɣɛɛna zaɓu zɛɓɛ ɣa e feeni zeea?

11 Wetin else God say to convince us that we can trust him? Jehovah tell John say: “Write, because this word them faithful and true.” (Rev. 21:5) Jehovah not just tell John to “write.” He also gave the reason. He say: “Because this word them faithful and true”. It mean, what He say that truth and we can trust Him. We happy that John obey the command to “write.” Because of that, we able to read God promise about Paradise and think on the wonderful blessings for the future.

12. Zɛɓɛi e kɛɛ Jehova yiɛ bo ga: “Te ɣɛɛ!”

12 Wetin God say next? “They already na happen!” (Rev. 21:6) Why Jehovah say that this promise them already na happen? Because nothing can stop him from fulfiling his purpose. Then Jehovah say something else that convince us that his promise will surely come true. Wetin he say?

“NÀ ƔA GÈ GA AFA TA WOMEEGA”

13. Zɛɓɛi e kɛɛ Jehova yiɛ bo ga: “Nà ɣa gè ga afa ta womeega”?

13 From what we talk about before, Jehovah himself talk three times in the vision them he gave to John. (Rev. 1:8; 21:5, 6; 22:13) Each time Jehovah talk in this vision them, he will always say: “I the Alpha and the Omega.” In the Greek alphabet, alpha that the first letter and omega, that the last letter. By saying that he “the Alpha and the Omega,” Jehovah helping us to see that anything he start, he will finish it.

Collage: Jehovah purpose coming to pass. 1. “Alpha.” Adam and Eve in the garden of Eden. 2. When Adam, Eve and Satan disobey, we see the bad-bad thing them that happen: Satan that wicked angel, Adam and Eve get old, the towel of Babel, graveyards, soldier people fighting, the war tank, warplanes, factory them spoiling the air, and people protesting. At the same time, the two other pictures showing how Jehovah fulfilling his purpose: Jesus on the torture stake, showing the ransom arrangement, and Jehovah servant them from way back and in our time, showing righteous children them of Adam and Eve. 3. “Omega.” The people working together and enjoying their self in Paradise.

When Jehovah start something, he can make sure to finish it (See paragraphs 14, 17)

14. (a) Po-kɔ̃ɔ-ma ʋe e dɛɛzu vɛ Jehova boni na ga “Afa” na ɣa ɣɛɛna siɛ sɛɓɛi e vaazu bosu la ga “womeega.” (b) Genesis 2:1-3 dɛɛvɛ ɣɛ le ga Jehova ɣa vaazu niitiɛ ɓɔgapɛ kɛɛzu e boga?

14 After Jehovah made Adam and Eve, He tell them His purpose for human being and for the earth. The Bible say: “God blessed them, and God said to them: ‘Be fruitful and become many, fill the earth and subdue it.’” (Gen. 1:28) Right there, it was like Jehovah say, “Alpha.” He made his purpose clear. He say: The time will come when Adam and Eve children them that obey him will be perfect and they will fill the earth and make the earth paradise. During that time, it will be just like Jehovah say, “Omega.” After Jehovah finish making “the heavens and the earth and everything in them,” He say something to show that he will surely fulfill his promise. It in Genesis 2:1-3. (Read.) Jehovah say that the seventh day was holy to him. What it mean? It mean that Jehovah set the seventh day aside to fulfill his purpose for human being and the earth. So when he made the seventh day holy, it was just like he was saying he will finish doing everything at the end of the seventh day.

15. Gala na ki-togitiɛ e vile nu ɓuse va, maʋaa wuloai e ɣɛni e ɣɛ Seeta ɣa siɣi ma ɣɛ le?

15 After Adam and Eve disobey, they became sinners and pass sin and death to their children them. (Rom. 5:12) Because of that, it was just like Satan na change God purpose for perfect human being and their children to fill the earth. You think Satan was able to stop Jehovah from fulfilling His promise or saying “Omega?” Maybe that how Satan was thinking. He was thinking that Jehovah will kill Adam and Eve and make different people that perfect to fulfill His purpose for human being. But if God was coming do that one, Satan was coming say he liar. Why? Because in Genesis 1:28, Jehovah tell Adam and Eve that their children was coming be plenty on the earth.

16. Ki-gaa-ziɛ zɛɓɛ ɣa e ɣɛni Seeta ɣisu e vile Jehova va?

16 What other decision Satan think God was coming make? Maybe Satan was thinking that Jehovah was coming allow Adam and Eve to born children but the children was not coming be perfect. (Eccl. 7:20; Rom. 3:23) In that case, the Devil was going to say Jehovah not able to fulfill his promise. Why? Because the earth was not coming to be fill with perfect people who will obey Jehovah.

17. Goo-mɛni-talai Seeta ɓɔga nu maa wũgitiɛ te kuloni, Jehova maʋai ɣaa wuloni ba ɣɛ le, tɔwɔ zɛɓɛi e vaazu ɣɛɛzu ga su-mɔ-sɔgi? (Wɛlɛ ɓalaa footei va.)

17 We sure the way Jehovah solve the problem when Adam, Eve and Satan disobey Him, really full Satan mouth. (Ps. 92:5) Jehovah show that he can always talk the truth by allowing Adam and Eve to born children. And he also show that anytime he say something, nothing can stop it from happening. He make sure his purpose was going to happen by providing one “offspring” who will save Adam and Eve obedient children. (Gen. 3:15; 22:18) It really full Satan mouth when Jehovah provide the ransom to save human being! Why? Because the ransom show that Jehovah get real love for us. (Matt. 20:28; John 3:16) Satan not get this quality, he selfish. So, wetin will happen because of the ransom? To the end of Jesus 1000 year rule, Jehovah will make sure to fulfill his purpose by making Adam and Eve obedient children to live in paradise. That time, it will be just like Jehovah say, “Omega.”

DA DA YEE-LA-MAI ZUƁAA ƔƐ LE E VILE KI-TOGI VA JEHOVA FEA E VILE ZUU VAGƆI VA

18. Faa saagɔ zɛɓɛi ya ɓɔ de va ga de la ga Jehova na ki-togitiɛ? (Wɛlɛ kologi nii zu va “Three Reasons to Trust Jehovah Promise.”)

18 In this article, we na talk about some reason them why we can be sure that the earth will be paradise. Wetin we can tell other people to convince them that this promise will really happen? First, that Jehovah self-self made the promise. The book of Revelation say: “The Person sitting down on the throne say: ‘Look! I making everything new.’” He get the wisdom, the power, and the desire to make his promise come true. Second, because Jehovah really sure that his promise will come true, he say it like it already na happen. That why he say: “This word them faithful and true. . . . They already na happen!” Third, nothing can stop Jehovah from finishing anything he start. That why he say: “I the Alpha and the Omega.” Jehovah will show that Satan that liar who not able to stop Him from fulfilling His purpose.

Three Reasons to Trust Jehovah Promise

19. Ani numaa te ɣi-daa ɣa vilina e vile Gala na ki-togi va e boga e vile zuu vagɔi va, zɛɓɛi ya kɛ?

19 Remember that anytime you tell people about what Jehovah say to convince us that his promise them will come true, you making your own trust in Jehovah promise them more strong. So, the next time you read the encouraging promise about the coming Paradise in Revelation 21:4 and somebody say, “This thing them really sounding good, but I not believe they will happen,” wetin you will do? You can read and explain verse 5 and 6 to them. Show how Jehovah na convince us that his promise will come true by what he say, just like he signing document with his own signature.—Isa. 65:16.

YA NIITIƐ ƔAA WOTE ƔƐ LE?

  • Zɛɓɛi e kɛɛ e ga faa ɓi ga Jehova tɔ ɓɔɔ ɣa e ki-togi ʋea e vile zuu vagɔi va?

  • Woo taniga ta ga zɛɓɛ e dɛɛzu ga nii Gala boga tɔ vaazu ɣɛɛzu?

  • A da da yee-la-mai zuɓaa ɣɛ le e vile ki-togitiɛ va Jehova fea?
