Come Near God for Prayer
You don ever feel say you need person to guide you for your life? You get some important questions wey you go like get the answer? You need comfort or you need to know say person de care for you? You go like dey near Jehovah? Prayer go fit help you with all this things. But wetin be the correct way to pray? God de listen to the prayers of everybody? Wetin you fit do to make sure say God go listen to your prayers? Make we see.
1. Who we suppose pray to, and wetin we fit pray about?
Jesus teach say make we pray only to our Papa for heaven. Even Jesus pray to Jehovah. E talk say: “Make wuna de pray like this: ‘Our Father for heaven . . . ’” (Matthew 6:9) When we pray to Jehovah, e go make us be e tight friends.
We fit pray to Jehovah about anything. If we want make God answer us, our prayer must agree with wetin e want. “Anything wey we beg God and the thing na wetin [God] want, e go answer.” (1 John 5:14) Jesus give examples of correct things to pray for. (Read Matthew 6:9-13.) As we de pray, make we no forget to thank God for wetin e don do for us and still beg God to help other people.
2. How we suppose pray?
Bible talk say “make [we] pour [our] heart to God.” (Psalm 62:8) So make our prayers come from our heart. When we de pray, our voice fit come out, or we fit pray for our mind. Whether we kneel down, or sit down or stand up, when we de pray, make e show respect for God. We fit pray anytime and for any place.
3. How God de answer our prayers?
E de answer our prayers for different-different ways. Jehovah don give us Bible to answer our questions. When person de read Bible e fit “make person get sense when e no know something.” (Psalm 19:7; read James 1:5.) God de give us peace of mind when we de face problems. And e fit use e servants help us when we need help.

Everyday, you fit think of one thing wey Jehovah don do for you and thank Jehovah for that thing. Do this one everyday for one week, and you go see say for that week you go don pray about seven different topics and you no repeat the prayer.
