(2 Chron. 16:9) For example, na so E do for Jehoshaphat wey be king for Judah. One time, Jehoshaphat no use better sense. Use All Your Heart Serve Jehovah!

We Go Face the End of This World Together
8 For King Jehoshaphat time, God people face one strong enemy. This strong enemy na “Plenty people” from the nations wey dey around them. (2 Chron. 20:1, 2) E good say God people no try to face the enemy with their own power. Instead, they trust Jehovah to help them. (Read 2 Chronicles 20:3, 4.) How You Fit Taste and See Say Jehovah Dey Good?
16 Leave some things because of Jehovah. We no need to stop everything wey we de enjoy to make Jehovah happy. (Eccl. 5:19, 20) But if we decide say we no go do more for Jehovah because we no want leave some things wey we like, we fit make the same mistake wey the man for Jesus story make. (Job 34:10) Na true say papa and mama example fit really affect their children for bad way or for good way. (Prov. 22:6; Col. 3:21) But this one no mean say na the way person family be go control how e go take live e life. This one na because Jehovah don give all of us one precious gift—the power to choose who we want be and wetin we go do. (Deut. 30:19) How Hezekiah take use that gift?
11 Even though say Hezekiah papa na one of the worst king wey Judah don ever get, Hezekiah still grow to be one of the best king. (Read 2 Kings 18:5, 6.) True-true, e papa na really bad example, but other better example still dey wey Hezekiah go learn from. Isaiah na prophet that time, even Micah and Hosea. We fit just think of how Hezekiah go don put body for all the better-better things wey this faithful men de teach, and how e go don allow the advice and correction from Jehovah enter e heart. So Hezekiah decide to correct all the bad-bad things wey e papa don do. E do this one as e clean the temple, e do sacrifice for the people sin, and e destroy all the idols for all the cities. (2 Chron. 29:1-11, 18-24; 31:1) When e face hard time, like the time wey Sennacherib wey be king of Assyria de threaten to attack Jerusalem, Hezekiah show say e get real faith and strong heart. E trust God to save them and e make e people strong with e example and the things wey e de talk. (2 Chron. 32:7, 8) Later, when them correct Hezekiah for something wey e no do well, e show say e dey humble and e repent. (2 Chron. 32:24-26) E clear say Hezekiah no allow the condition wey e for grow affect e future or the way e choose to live e life. The first thing wey e do na to reopen the temple and repair-am. Then e call the priests and Levites together and e tell them say: “E really de hungry me to make covenant with Jehovah the God of Israel.” This na covenant of faithfulness, e just be like say them dedicate the Law covenant wey still dey for Judah again, but wey the people be no gree follow. Hezekiah really use all e mind arrange the Levites, and e arrange things wey them take de play music so that them go fit de sing praise to Jehovah again. The month of Nisan wey them take de celebrate Passover don reach, but the priest and the Levites still never dey clean. By the time wey Nisan 16 reach, them don clean the temple and they put the things wey them de use back for inside the temple. Then, them go need to do special sacrifice for all Israel people. First the princes bring their sacrifice, then the sin offering for the whole kingdom, then the one for the sanctuary, and the one for the people, and then plenty-plenty burnt offering wey the people bring.—2Ch 29:1-36.

But Hezekiah follow the law wey allow people wey no dey clean to celebrate the Passover one month after the correct time. E no only invite the people for Judah, e still send messengers wey carry letter run go invite people for Israel from Beer-sheba to Dan. Many people laugh the messengers, but people from Asher, Manasseh, and Zebulun, humble theirself and them attend. Some people from Ephraim and Issachar still attend. Many people wey no be Israelite wey still de worship Jehovah attend. E fit no really easy for the people wey dey the northern kingdom wey de worship Jehovah to fit attend. People go dey against them and they go laugh them as they do the messengers, because the ten-tribe kingdom don really go deep for false worship and people for Assyria de cause problem for them.—2Ch 30:1-20; Nu 9:10-13.

After the Passover, them do the Festival of Unfermented Cakes for seven days. The thing really sweet them sotey them decide to continue the celebration for another seven days. Even though say that time na really dangerous time, Jehovah bless them sotey the “people come de rejoice for Jerusalem, because from the days of Solomon wey be the son of David wey be the king of Israel, nothing like this don ever happen for Jerusalem.”—2Ch 30:21-27.
The thing wey later happen show say pure worship don come back to the land, no be just ordinary happiness because of the celebration. Before the people go house, them destroy the sacred pillars, they pull the high places down and the altars, and they cut the sacred poles wey dey everywhere for Judah and Benjamin and even Ephraim and Manasseh. (2Ch 31:1) Hezekiah set better example as e scatter the copper serpent wey Moses make, because the people don turn-am to idol and them dey burn sacrifice to-am. (2Ki 18:4) After the big festival, Hezekiah make sure say the people continue to do pure worship. E do this one as e arrange how them go divide the priests for the different work wey them go de do, and e still arrange for other people to de support the work for temple. He encourage the people to de obey the Law wey concern tithes and firstfruit contributions to the Levites and priests. And all the people agree with all their heart.—2Ch 31:2-12.

‘If You Know This Things, You Go Dey Happy if You Do Them’
14 Another way to show say we dey humble na when we de listen to people. James 1:19 talk say make we “de listen quick.” Na Jehovah show us the best example of how to listen to people. (Gen. 18:32; Josh. 10:14) Make we see wetin we fit learn from one example for Exodus 32:11-14. (Read-am.) Jehovah no need any advice from Moses, but E still give Moses the chance to talk how e de feel. 15 Make we ask ourself say: ‘If Jehovah fit listen to people like Abraham, Rachel, Moses, Joshua, Manoah, Elijah, and Hezekiah because e dey humble, e no go good make I de do like that to my brothers and sisters? E no go good make I de respect them more, de listen to their advice, and even do the fine thing wey they talk? “Make Your Brothers Strong When Things Hard for Them”

Assyria
Sennacherib. Sennacherib, wey be the son of Sargon II, attack the kingdom of Judah for the 14th year wey Hezekiah don de rule (732 B.C.E.). (2Ki 18:13; Isa 36:1) Ahaz wey be Hezekiah papa, make agreement with Assyria people. But when Hezekiah come be king, e no gree continue the agreement. (2Ki 18:7) Sennacherib vex and e start to de attack different cities for Judah. Them talk say cities wey e destroy reach 46 (compare Isa 36:1, 2), and from their camp for Lachish, e tell Hezekiah make e pay-am 30 gold talents (c. $11,560,000) and 300 silver talents (c. $1,982,000). (2Ki 18:14-16; 2Ch 32:1; compare Isa 8:5-8.) Even though say them pay the money, Sennacherib still send the person wey de represent-am make e go tell Hezekiah and e people make them surrender. (2Ki 18:17–19:34; 2Ch 32:2-20) But as Jehovah angel kill Sennacherib soldier wey reach 185,000 for one night, e come make Sennacherib wey sabi boast well-well go back to Nineveh. Seven Shepherds, Eight People Wey Go Rule as Prince—Wetin Them Mean for Us Today?
12 Jehovah always dey ready to help us do things wey we no fit do by ourself, but e still de expect us to do the one wey we fit do. Hezekiah “ask e princes and e warriors,” and they gather “block the water wey de flow for outside their city . . . [Hezekiah] still get strong mind and continue the work. All the wall wey don break, e build-am again and e put towers on top-am, and e build another wall for outside the city . . . and e make plenty-plenty weapon and shield.” (2 Chron. 32:3-5) To fit protect and guide e people that time, Jehovah use many strong men like Hezekiah and e princes, and even the prophets wey really hold Jehovah tight.

Seven Shepherds, Eight People Wey Go Rule as Prince—Wetin Them Mean for Us Today?
13 The next thing wey Hezekiah do even big pass the one wey e first do when e block the water for outside their city and make the walls for the city strong well-well. Because Hezekiah really care about how the people de feel, e gather them together and tell them things wey go encourage them and make them strong. E say: “Make wuna no fear or shake because of the king of Assyria. . . . The number of people with us plenty pass their own. Na ordinary people e get, but we get Jehovah our God to fight for us.” Hezekiah let them know say Jehovah go fight for E people. As the people hear this things, e make their mind come down. E really dey clear say “wetin Hezekiah, the king of Judah talk make the people strong.” E and e princes and e warriors, even prophet Micah and Isaiah really show say them be better shepherds, just as Jehovah don talk through e prophet before.—2 Chron. 32:7, 8; read Micah 5:5, 6.

11 After some time, Jehovah answer Manasseh prayer. E see say Manasseh don really change because of the things wey e talk for e prayer. Jehovah listen to Manasseh when e beg for forgiveness and e allow Manasseh to be king again. Manasseh do e best to show say e don really repent. E do wetin Ahab no do. We fit even go meet elders for some kind matter. We fit don think about the matter and do research for our book them. But elders fit still help us think about other things wey Bible talk about the matter. For example, one sister know say e get work to preach the good news. (Acts 4:20) Then one day, e plan to go out for preaching. But e husband wey no be Witness come tell-am say make e stay house that day. The husband want make two of them use that day do something as husband and wife, because e feel say them no too de get time for each other again. The sister fit think about Bible verse wey talk say make we obey Jehovah and Bible verse wey carry the command say make we go preach. (Matt. 28:19, 20; Acts 5:29) But e still need to think about the verse wey talk say make wife dey respect e husband. Even the one wey still talk say make we get open mind.
