Ngokuqhelekileyo izithunywa zezulu sizenza zibe namaphiko ngenxa yeenkcazelo ezingokomfuziselo ezifumaneka eBhayibhileni.
Uchanile xa usithi izidalwa zomoya azinayo imizimba yenyama enamaphiko okoqobo—azinabuso, azinazandla, azinanyawo, okanye amanye amalungu omzimba. Kanti, ngezinye izihlandlo, xa izithunywa zezulu zabonakala kubakhonzi bakaThixo, zimele ukuba zabonakala njengabantu abaqhelekileyo, kuba ngempazamo kwacingelwa ukuba zazingabo.—Genesis 18:2, 22; 19:1; ABagwebi 6:11-22.
Noko ke, maxa wambi abantu baba nemibono yezithunywa zezulu baza bachaza ubunjani bazo. Umprofeti uHezekile wabona ‘izinto eziphilileyo ezine,’ yaye kamva embonweni, wazifanisa njengezithunywa zezulu zodidi olwaziwa ngokuba ziikerubhi. (Hezekile 1:5; 9:3; 10:3) Ngasinye kwezi zithunywa zezulu sasinamaphiko amane, awayebonisa amandla azo okuya ngokukhawuleza kulo naliphi na icala uThixo ayalela ukuba ziye kulo. “Bezingajiki ekuhambeni kwazo, bezihamba, iyileyo iye kwicala elikhangelene nobuso bayo . . . apho sukuba ubusiya khona umoya, zaya khona; azajika ekuhambeni kwazo.”—Hezekile 1:6, 9, 12.
Kodwa izithunywa zezulu ezibonwa embonweni zazingasoloko zifana. Izidalwa ezizizithunywa zezulu ezibizwa ngokuba ziiserafi uIsaya awazibonayo zazinamaphiko amathandathu. (Isaya 6:1, 2) Kwanezithunywa zezulu ezabonwa nguHezekile emibonweni zazingafani. Kowokuqala, izithunywa zezulu zazineenyawo, izandla ngaphantsi kwalo ngalinye lamaphiko amane, nobuso obune (njengobuso bomntu, obengonyama, obenkomo nobokhozi). Kumbono wakhe olandelayo, obunye ubuso babufana nobo bekerubhi kunokuba bufane nobenkomo, mhlawumbi ukubonisa amandla amakhulu ekerubhi. Kanti kumbono olandelayo wemihombiso yetempile yokomfuziselo, uHezekile wabona ikerubhi eyayinobuso obubini, obunye ibobomntu yaye obunye ibobengonyama. (Hezekile 1:5-11; 10:7-17; 41:18, 19) KwiNgcwele kaNgcwele yomnquba, kwanakwitempile eyayakhiwe nguSolomon eYerusalem, kwakukho iikerubhi ezinamaphiko amabini. Ezi zazikwisiciko segolide sebhokisi eyayibizwa ngokuba yityeya yomnqophiso. Ezi kerubhi zimbini zegolide zazijongene, yaye zombini zazinamaphiko amabini awayegubungele ityeya. UJosephus wabhala oku: “Ke zona [ezo] kerubhim, akukho bani unokuchaza okanye athelekelele ukuba zazikhangeleka njani na.” Ngaloo ndlela, bambi babaphengululi nabazobi (ngokukodwa iikerubhi) bayisekela imizobo yabo yezithunywa zezulu koko kufane kubizwe ngokuba yimifuziselo yasempuma yoothixo abakwimo yezilwanyana ezinamaphiko. Kodwa isikhokelo esithembeke ngakumbi koko kwathethwa nguHezekile esithi ezo wazibonayo “zibe zinemfano yomntu.” (Hezekile 1:5) Ngoko xa kukho imifanekiso yezithunywa zezulu kwiimpapasho zethu, ngokuqhelekileyo sizizoba ngokuyimfuneko zibe nemfano yomntu. Sizizoba zibe namaphiko ngenxa yeengcaciso zeBhayibhile eziliqela zezithunywa ezahlukahlukeneyo ezinamaphiko yaye nangenxa yoko kuthethwayo ‘ngokuphaphazela’ kwezithunywa zezulu.—ISityhilelo 14:6; INdumiso 18:10.
Ekugqibeleni, iphepha 288 lencwadi ethi ISityhilelo—Incopho Yaso Ezukileyo Isondele! ibonisa isidalwa sasezulwini esinamaphiko, sinesithsaba entlokweni yaso yaye sinesitshixo esandleni saso. Lo ngumfanekiso woko kubhalwe kwiSityhilelo 20:1: “Ndabona isithunywa sezulu, sisihla siphuma emazulwini, sinesitshixo senzonzobila, nomxokelelwane omkhulu esandleni saso.” Esi sithunywa sezulu sinesitshixo sisiqonda njengoYesu Kristu ozukisiweyo. Umfanekiso umbonisa enamaphiko ngokuvisisana nesibakala sokuba izithunywa zezulu ezazibonwa emibonweni ngokuqhelekileyo zazinamaphiko.
