Kangangeenyanga ezintathu uAmram noYokebhede balufihla usana lwabo. (Eksodus 2:2) Noko ke, oku kwakulubeka esichengeni ekubeni amaHebhere namaYiputa ayengabamelwane. Nabani na owayefunyanwa ezama ukumelana nomthetho kaFaro wayengafumana isohlwayo sokufa—yaye nosana olo lwaluya kufa. Ngoko ke, babenokwenza ntoni aba bazali abazinikeleyo ukuzigcina bona nonyana wabo bephila?
UYokebhede waqokelela imizi. Imizi luhlobo olomeleleyo lwengca, lufana noqalo, uluthi lwayo lunamacala amathathu olungangomnwe ububanzi. Lusenokufikelela kwiimitha ezintandathu ubude. AmaYiputa ayesebenzisa esi sityalo ukwenza iphepha, ukhuko, iseyile, iimbadada, namaphenyana alula.
UYokebhede wenza ibhaskiti ngemizi eyayilingene usana lwakhe. Wandula ke wayityabeka ngetha khon’ ukuze ibhaskiti iqine nokuba ingangeni manzi. Wandula ke uYokebhede walufaka ngaphakathi kuyo usana lwakhe waza walubeka ezingcongolweni ezingakunxweme loMlambo umNayile.—Eksodus 2:3.
Usana Luyabhaqwa
Intombi kaYokebhede, uMiriyam, yema mgama yabukela oko kwakuza kwenzeka ngokulandelayo. UMiriyam, owayekhangele eme mgama, waya kwintombi kaFaro. Wayibuza: “Ndiye kukubizela na umfazi wamaHebhere onokwanyisa, akwanyisele umntwana?” Inkosazana yaphendula isithi: “Yiya.” UMiriyam wabaleka waya kubiza unina. Inkosazana yathi kuye: “Thabatha lo mntwana umanyise ndokunika umvuzo wakho mna.” Kusenokuba ngelo xesha intombi kaFaro yayimqonda uYokebhede ukuba wayengunina wolo sana.—Eksodus 2:7-9.
UYokebhede wamgcina umntwana wakhe de wamlumla.c Oku kwamnika amathuba amaninzi okumfundisa ngoThixo oyinyaniso, uYehova. Wandula ke, uYokebhede wabuyisela umntwana kwintombi kaFaro, eyathiya le nkwenkwe igama elinguMoses, elithetha “ukurholwa emanzini.”—Eksodus 2:10.
Isifundo Kuthi
UAmram noYokebhede balixhakamfula ngamandla ithuba elincinane abalifumanayo ukufundisa unyana wabo imigaqo yonqulo olunyulu. Abazali banokwenza okufanayo namhlanje. Eneneni, kubalulekile ukuba benjenjalo. USathana uMtyholi “uhamba-hamba njengengonyama egqumayo, efuna ukuqwenga uthile.” (1 Petros 5:8) Ebeya kuthanda ukuba namaxhoba anjengolutsha oluxabisekileyo—amakhwenkwe namantombazana—olunethemba lokuba ngabakhonzi bakaYehova abaxabisekileyo. Isibakala sokuba beselula asimenzi avelane nabo! Ngenxa yoko, abazali abalumkileyo baqeqesha abantwana babo kwasebusaneni ukuba boyike uThixo wenyaniso, uYehova.—IMizekeliso 22:6; 2 Timoti 3:14, 15.
KumaHebhere 11:23, umgudu ka-Amram noYokebhede wokufihla usana lwabo ebudeni beenyanga ezintathu zokuqala zobomi balo ubhalwe njengesenzo sokholo. Bobabini aba bazali boyika uThixo babonisa ukukholosa ngamandla kaYehova asindisayo ngokungavumi ukumlahla umntwana wabo, yaye ngenxa yoko basikelelwa. Nathi sifanele sibonise ukubambelela ngokuthe nkqi kwimithetho nemigaqo kaYehova, sinethemba lokuba nantoni na uYehova ayivumelayo ukuba yenzeke kuthi ekugqibeleni iya kusinika intlalo-ntle nolonwabo olungunaphakade.—Roma 8:28.

c Kumaxesha amandulo, abantwana abaninzi babesanyiswa ithuba elide kakhulu kunendlela eqhelekileyo yanamhlanje. Kusenokuba uSamuweli wayeneminyaka emithathu ubudala ubuncinane ukulunyulwa kwakhe, yaye uIsake wayemalunga neminyaka emihlanu.
