Benza Ukuthanda KukaYehova

UmSamariya Ungqineka Engummelwane Wokwenene

NGOMHLA kaYesu, ubutshaba babesamele phakathi kwamaYuda nabeeNtlanga. Ekuhambeni kwexesha, iMishnah yamaYuda yada yaquka umthetho owawuwalela amabhinqa angamaSirayeli ukuba ancedise ekuzalweni komntwana ongenguye umYuda, ekubeni oku kwakuya kuthetha ukuzisa omnye umntu weeNtlanga emhlabeni.—Abodah Zarah 2:1.

AmaSamariya ayesondelelene ngakumbi namaYuda kunabeeNtlanga, ngokonqulo kwanangobuhlanga. Sekunjalo, ayegqalwa njengamakheswa. Umpostile uYohane wabhala wathi: “AmaYuda akanazinkqubano namaSamariya.” (Yohane 4:9) Enyanisweni, iTalmud yayifundisa ukuba “iqhekeza lesonka elivela kumSamariya liyinqambi ngakumbi kunenyama yehagu.” Amanye amaYuda ayede asebenzise nebinzana elithi ‘mSamariya’ njengesithuko nesigculelo.—Yohane 8:48.

UYesu wawuphendula umbuzo wale ndoda ngokuyenzela umzekeliso.a Wathi: “Umntu othile wayesihla evela eYerusalem esiya eYeriko.” Umgama ophakathi kweYerusalem neYeriko wawumalunga neekhilomitha ezingama-23. Indlela edibanisa ezi zixeko zibini yayinamajiko-jiko namatye amakhulu nto leyo eyayibangela ukuba kube lula ngamasela ukuzimela, ukuhlasela nokubaleka. Njengokuba kwaye kwacaca, umhambi kumzekeliso kaYesu “wagaxeleka kubaphangi, abathi kokubini bamhluba yaye bambetha, baza bemka, bemshiya engathi ufile.”—Luka 10:30.

UYesu uhlabela mgama esithi: “Ngokuzenzekelayo, umbingeleli othile wayesihla apho ngaloo ndlela, kodwa, xa wambonayo, wahamba kwelinye icala. Ngokunjalo, kwanomLevi, xa wafika kuloo ndawo waza wambona, wahamba kwelinye icala.” (Luka 10:31, 32) Ababingeleli nabaLevi babengabafundisi boMthetho—kuquka umthetho wothando ngommelwane. (Levitikus 10:8-11; Duteronomi 33:1, 10) Ngokuqinisekileyo, ngaphezu kwabo bonke abantu kumele ukuba baziva benyanzelekile ukuba bancede lo mhambi wonzakeleyo.

Esabalisa uYesu wathi: “UmSamariya othile owayehamba kuloo ndlela wafika kuye.” Ukukhankanywa komSamariya ngokungathandabuzekiyo kongezelela umdla wokwazi kwelo gqwetha. Ngaba uYesu wayeza kuxhasa ukungathandwa kolu hlanga? Ngokwahlukileyo koko, akubona lo mhambi usengxakini, umSamariya “washukunyiswa lusizi.” UYesu wathi: “Ngoko waya kuye waza wawabopha amanxeba akhe, ewagalela ioli newayini. Wandula ke wamkhwelisa kwisilo sakhe kwaye wamsa kwindlu yabahambi waza wamnyamekela.b Yaye ngemini elandelayo wakhupha iidenariyo ezimbini, wazinika umgcini-ndlu yabahambi, waza wathi, ‘Mnyamekele, ibe nakuphi na okuchithileyo ngaphandle koku, ndiza kukubuyekeza xa ndibuyela apha.’”—Luka 10:33-35.

Ngoku uYesu ubuza lowo ebembuza: “Ngubani kwaba bathathu obonakala kuwe ezenze ummelwane kumntu owagaxeleka kubaphangi?” Eli gqwetha laliyazi impendulo, sekunjalo lalingafuni ukuthi “ngumSamariya.” Kunoko, laphendula lathi: “Ngulowo wenza ngenceba kuye.” Wandula ke uYesu wathi kuye: “Hamba indlela yakho uze nawe ngokwakho wenze ngokufanayo.”—Luka 10:36, 37.

Oko Sikufundayo

Indoda eyabuza uYesu yakwenza oko ifuna ‘ukuzingqina ililungisa.’ (Luka 10:29) Mhlawumbi yayicinga ukuba uYesu wayeya kuyincoma ngokubambelela kwayo ngokuqinileyo kuMthetho kaMoses. Kodwa lo mntu wayezicingela kangaka kwakufuneka afunde inyaniso yomzekeliso weBhayibhile othi: “Zonke iindlela zendoda zithe tye kwawayo amehlo; umlinganisi weentliziyo nguYehova.”—IMizekeliso 21:2.

Umzekeliso kaYesu ubonisa ukuba umntu olilungisa ngokwenene ngulowo ongathobeli nje imithetho kaThixo kuphela kodwa okwaxelisa iimpawu zakhe. (Efese 5:1) Ngokomzekelo, iBhayibhile ithi “uThixo akakhethi buso.” (IZenzo 10:34) Ngaba siyamxelisa uThixo kulo mba? Umzekeliso kaYesu ochukumisayo ubonisa ukuba uthando lwethu ngommelwane lufanele ludlule imida yobuzwe, eyamasiko neyonqulo. Ngokwenene, amaKristu ayalelwa ukuba ‘asebenzele oko kulungileyo kubo bonke’—kungekhona kubantu abakumgangatho ofanayo, uhlanga, okanye isizwe esifanayo yaye kungekhona kwabo bakholwa nabo kuphela.—Galati 6:10.

AmaNgqina kaYehova azama ukulandela esi sibongozo singokweZibhalo. Ngokomzekelo, xa kusehla iintlekele zokwemvelo, aququzelela ukunceda abo akholwa nabo kwanabo bangengawo amaNgqina.c Ukongezelela, njengeqela achitha iiyure ezingaphezu kwewaka lesigidi minyaka yonke enceda abantu ukuba bafumane ulwazi olongezelelekileyo lweBhayibhile. Azabalazela ukufikelela wonk’ ubani ngesigidimi soBukumkani, kuba uThixo uthanda ukuba “zonke iintlobo zabantu zisindiswe zize zifikelele elwazini oluchanileyo lwenyaniso.”—1 Timoti 2:4; IZenzo 10:35.
