Ngaba Ufanele Uyikholelwe?

KWAKUNZIMA kumfundi oneminyaka eli-12 ubudala ukuqonda imigaqo esisiseko yezibalo ze-algebra. Umfundisi-ntsapho wakhe wanika iklasi izibalo ze-algebra ezazibonakala zicacile.

Waqalisa ngokuthi: “Masithi u-x ulingana no-y size sithi bobabini aba nobumba balingana no-1.”

‘Hayi ke ilula leyo,’ wacinga njalo lo mfundi.

Noko ke, emva kokubala imigca emine yezibalo ezazikhangeleka zicacile, lo mfundisi-ntsapho wavela neziphumo ezothusayo, wathi: “Ngoko ke, u-2 ulingana no-1!”

Ecel’ umngeni abafundi bakhe abasuka bacinyelwa zizibane wathi: “Ndiphikiseni koko.”

Kulwazi lwakhe oluncinane gqitha ngezibalo ze-algebra, lo mfundi uselula wayengakwazi ukufumana indlela anokukuphikisa ngayo oko. Nyathelo ngalinye kwezo zibalo lalibonakala lichane ngokupheleleyo. Ekuhambeni kwexesha lo mfundi wezibalo ze-algebra wayifumana impazamo kwezo zibalo. Kwangaxeshanye, loo mava aba sisifundo esibalulekileyo kuye. Nkqu nokuba ubani onolwazi oluninzi unikela inkcazelo ngobuchule nebonakala ingenakuphikiswa, akuyomfuneko ukuba umphulaphuli akholelwe isigqibo sobuyatha ngenxa nje yokuba engenakukwazi ukukuphikisa oko ngelo xesha. Eneneni lo mfundi wayelandela kanye umgaqo weBhayibhile osebenzisekayo ofumaneka kweyoku-1 kaYohane 4:1—ukungakholelwa ngokukhawuleza yonk’ into oyivayo, nkqu nokuba sele ibonakala ivela kumthombo onegunya.

(2 Tesalonika 2:2) Kakade ke, loo mfundisi-ntsapho wayebadlalisa nje abafundi bakhe. Noko ke, maxa wambi izinto zinokuba yingozi. Abantu banokugabadela ‘ekulahlekiseni ngobuqhokolo.’—Efese 4:14; 2 Timoti 2:14, 23, 24.

Ngaba Iingcali Zisoloko Zichanile?

‘Oko Kubizwa Ngokuba “Lulwazi” Kuxokwa’

Kusenokwenzeka ukuba amaKristu okuqala adibana nabaninzi ababengabafundi bezithandi-zobulumko eziphambili zamaGrike, ezinjengoSocrates, uPlato noAristotle. Abantu abafundileyo baloo mihla babezigqala bekrelekrele ngaphezu kwenkoliso yamaKristu. Babembalwa abafundi bakaYesu ababegqalwa “bezizilumko ngokwenyama.” (1 Korinte 1:26) Eneneni, abo babefunde intanda-bulumko yaloo mihla babecinga ukuba iinkolelo zamaKristu ‘zazibubudenge’ nje okanye “zazibubuvuvu.”—1 Korinte 1:23; Phillips.

Ukuba wawuphakathi kwaloo maKristu okuqala, ngaba wawuya kuthabatheka ziingxoxo ezeyisayo zeenkcuba-buchopho zaloo mihla okanye wawuya koyikiswa kukubonisa kwazo ubulumko? IBhayibhile—Isikhokelo Esiphefumlelweyo

AmaKristu okuqala akazange akuthandabuze ukuba uThixo uye wakutyhila ukuthanda kwakhe, injongo nemigaqo yakhe eZibhalweni. (2 Timoti 3:16, 17) Oku kwawakhusela ‘ekuthabathekeni ziintanda-bulumko nayinkohliso elambathayo esekelwe kwizithethe zabantu.’ (Kolose 2:8) Kusafana nanamhlanje. Ngokwahlukileyo kwiimbono zabantu ezididayo neziphikisanayo, iLizwi likaThixo eliphefumlelweyo linikela isiseko esiluqilima esinokwakhela kuso iinkolelo zethu. (Yohane 17:17; 1 Tesalonika 2:13; 2 Petros 1:21) Ngaphandle kwalo besingayi kukwazi ukwakhela into eqinileyo kwiingcinga zabantu neentanda-bulumko ezifana nentlabathi.—Mateyu 7:24-27.

Omnye umntu usenokuthi, ‘Kodwa khawume kancinane. Ngaba aliyonyaniso elokuba izibakala zenzululwazi ziye zabonisa ukuba iBhayibhile ineempazamo yaye ngaloo ndlela ayinakuthenjwa kuneentanda-bulumko zabantu eziguquguqukayo?’ Ngokomzekelo, uBertrand Russell wathi, “uCopernicus, uKepler noGalileo kwafuneka bangquzulane noAristotle kunye neBhayibhile ukuze bamisele imbono yokuba umhlaba awukho sembindini wendalo.” (Akekeliswe sithi.) Enyanisweni, iBhayibhile ayitsho ukuba umhlaba usembindini wendalo. Leyo yayiyimfundiso yeenkokeli zecawa ezingazange zinamathele eLizwini likaThixo. Ingxelo yendalo ekwiGenesis iyavumelana nokuba umhlaba uneminyaka engamawaka ezigidi ukho yaye ayithi umhla ngamnye wokudala ziiyure ezingama-24. (Genesis 1:1, 5, 8, 13, 19, 23, 31; 2:3, 4) Uhlolisiso olunyanisekileyo lweBhayibhile lubonisa ukuba ngoxa ingeyoncwadi yenzululwazi, ngokuqinisekileyo asiyonto nje ‘ebubuvuvu.’ Enyanisweni, ivumelana ngokupheleleyo nenzululwazi echanileyo.a

‘Amandla Engqiqo’

Nangona abafundi bakaYesu abaninzi babengamadoda nabafazi abaqhelekileyo ekusenokwenzeka ukuba babenemfundo elinganiselweyo, uThixo wabanika enye into ababenokuyisebenzisa. Ingakhathaliseki imvelaphi yabo, bonke bathiwa jize ngamandla engqiqo nawokucinga. Umpostile uPawulos wakhuthaza loo maKristu wayekholwa nawo ukuba awasebenzise ngokuzeleyo ‘amandla awo engqiqo’ ukuze ‘akungqine ngokwawo ukulunga nokwamkeleka nokugqibelela kokuthanda kukaThixo.’—Roma 12:1, 2.

Ngenxa ‘yamandla awo engqiqo’ awaphiwe nguThixo, amaKristu okuqala ayibona ngokucacileyo into yokuba nayiphi na intanda-bulumko okanye imfundiso engavumelaniyo naleyo ityhilwe kwiLizwi likaThixo bubuvuvu. Eneneni, kwezinye iimeko amadoda awayezizilumko ngaloo mihla ‘ayeyithintela inyaniso’ yaye ebubetha ngoyaba ubungqina obuwangqongileyo bokuba uThixo ukho. Umpostile uPawulos wabhala wathi: “Nangona babemi ngelithi bazizilumko, baba zizidenge.” Ngenxa yokuba bayigatya inyaniso engoThixo nenjongo yakhe, “basuka baba ziziphukuphuku kwiingcinga zabo, neentliziyo zabo ezingenakuqiqa zenziwa mnyama.”—Roma 1:18-22; Yeremiya 8:8, 9.

Abo bemi ngelithi bazizilumko basoloko besiza nezigqibo ezinjengezi “Akukho Thixo” okanye “IBhayibhile ayithembekanga” okanye “Le asiyiyo ‘imihla yokugqibela.’” Ezo mbono zinjalo zibubudenge emehlweni kaThixo njengokuthi “u-2 ulingana no-1.” (1 Korinte 3:19) Nokuba abantu banokuzibanga benaliphi na igunya, akufanele wamkele izigqibo zabo ukuba ziyangqubana noThixo, ziyaligatya iLizwi lakhe yaye zonakalisa ingqiqo.
