Ukutshata KukaBhohazi NoRute Okwakubonakala Kungenakwenzeka

KWISANDA esikufutshane naseBhetelehem kuyaphithizela njengokuba kusentwasahlobo. Bekusetyenzwa ukususela kwangonyezi. Ivumba lengqolowa esandul’ ukugcadwa likhumbuza abasebenzi abalambileyo ukuba eli lixesha lokutya. Ingulowo uza kudla ukubila kwebunzi lakhe.

UBhohazi, umlimi osisityebi, uyadla aze asele onele emva koko aphumle ngakwingqimba enkulu yengqolowa. Kamva, usuku lokuvuna luphelile, yaye mntu ngamnye uzikhangelela indawo eva yena aza kulala kuyo. UBhohazi, enelisekile, uyazigquma aza alale obentlombe.

Engalindelanga Kwenzeka Into Ethile

Ezinzulwini zobusuku, uBhohazi uvuka eqhaqhazela kukugodola. Kaloku, mntu uthile uzityhile ngabom iinyawo zakhe, yaye ulele apho! Ebumnyameni engazi ukuba ngubani, uyabuza: “Ungubani na?” Kuphendula ilizwi lebhinqa: “NdinguRute ikhobokazana lakho, yaye umele wolulele umbhinqo wakho kwikhobokazana lakho, kuba ungumhlawuleli.”—Rute 3:1-9.

Bathetha bobabini ebumnyameni. Ayiqhelekanga into yokuba ibhinqa libe sesandeni. (Rute 3:14) Sekunjalo, ngokutsho kukaBhohazi, uRute uqhubeka elele ezinyaweni zakhe yaye ngaphambi nje kwesifingo uyavuka aze ahambe, ukuze aphephe ukugxekwa ngokungeyomfuneko.

Ngaba le yayiyindlela yokudibana kwabantu abathandanayo? Ngaba le ndoda esisityebi nesele ikhulile yalukuhlwa ngobulumko nguRute—umhlolokazi olihlwempu noselula owayesuka kwilizwe labahedeni? Okanye ngaba uBhohazi wamxhaphaza uRute kuba ekule meko yaye eziva elilolo ngobo busuku? Impendulo kule mibuzo inokuthanani nokuthembeka nothando ngoThixo. Yaye kwakhona le yingxelo echukumisayo.

Kodwa ngubani uRute? Yintoni injongo yakhe? Yaye ngubani le ndoda isisityebi, uBhohazi?

“Umfazi Obalaseleyo”

Kwiminyaka ngaphambi kokuba oku kwenzeke, ilizwe lakwaYuda lathwaxwa yindlala. Intsapho yamaSirayeli enabantu abane—uElimeleki; umfazi wakhe uNahomi; noonyana babo ababini, uMahalon noKiliyon—yafudukela kwilizwe elichumileyo lakwaMowabhi. Oonyana bakhe batshata nabafazi ababini bakwaMowabhi, uRute no-Orpa. Emva kokufa kwala madoda mathathu kwaMowabhi, aba bafazi bathathu bava ukuba izinto azimntakaNgqika kwaSirayeli. Ngoko ke uNahomi—ngoku owayengumhlolokazi, exhelekile, engenabantwana okanye abazukulwana—wagqiba kwelokuba abuyele kwilizwe lakowabo.—Rute 1:1-14.

Endleleni eya kwaSirayeli, uNahomi weyisela uOrpa ukuba abuyele kubantu bakhe. UNahomi wathi kuRute: “Khangela! Umninawakazi wakho ongumhlolokazi ubuyele ebantwini bakowabo nakoothixo bakhe. Buyela nomninawakazi wakho ongumhlolokazi.” Kodwa uRute wathi: “Musa ukundibongoza ukuba ndikushiye, . . . kuba apho uya khona ndiya kuya . . . Abantu bakowenu baya kuba ngabantu basekhaya, noThixo wakho abe nguThixo wam. Apho ufela khona ndiya kufela khona, ndingcwatyelwe khona.” (Rute 1:15-17) Ngoko aba bahlolokazi babini baxhwalekileyo babuyela eBhetelehem. Abantu balapho babechukumisekile yindlela uRute awayemthanda nawayemnyamekela ngayo uninazala, kangangokuba bamgqala ‘elunge ngakumbi [kuNahomi] kunoonyana abasixhenxe.’ Abanye babesithi “ungumfazi obalaseleyo.”—Rute 3:11; 4:15.

EBhetelehem kwixesha lasekuqaleni kwesivuno serhasi, uRute wathi kuNahomi: “Nceda undivumele ndihambe, ndiye entsimini ndize ndibhikice phakathi kwezikhwebu emva kwakhe nabani na endiya kufumana ubabalo emehlweni akhe.”—Rute 2:2.

Engazi waya kwintsimi kaBhohazi, isalamane sikayisezala, uElimeleki. Wacela imvume yokubhikica kumphathi wabavuni. Indlela awayebhikica ngayo ngenkuthalo yayibonakala nakuthathatha, yaye umphathi wabavuni uyayincoma indlela asebenza ngayo kuBhohazi.—Rute 1:22–2:7.

Umkhuseli Nomncedi

UBhohazi ngumnquli kaYehova ozinikeleyo. Ntsasa nganye, uBhohazi wayebulisa abavuni bakhe ngokuthi: “UYehova abe nani,” yaye babephendula besithi: “UYehova akusikelele.” (Rute 2:4) Emva kokubona indlela uRute awayesebenza ngayo ngokuzibhokoxa nokuva indlela awayenyaniseke ngayo kuNahomi, uBhohazi wanika uRute ilungelo elikhethekileyo lokubhikica. Ngamafutshane uthi kuye: ‘Hlala entsimini yam, akukho mfuneko yokuba uye kwezabanye. Sebenza kufuphi nabafazana bam; uya kukhuseleka xa usebenza nabo. Ndibaxelele abafana ukuba bangakuchukumisi. Xa unxaniwe, baya kukukhelela amanzi amnandi.’—Rute 2:8, 9.

URute waqubuda waza wathi: ‘Kwenzeka njani ukuba ndikholeke emehlweni akho, ekubeni ndingowasemzini?’ UBhohazi waphendula wathi: ‘Ndikuvile konke okwenzileyo ngonyokozala emva kokufelwa kwakho yindoda—ukuba wena uye washiya uyihlo nonyoko nezalamane zakho nelizwe lakowenu ukuze uze kuhlala nabantu ongabazi nokubazi. Wanga uYehova angayivuza indlela owenza ngayo. Kwanga angakuhlawula ngento oyenzileyo.’—Rute 2:10-12.

UBhohazi akazami ukuzithandisa kuye. Wayemncoma enyanisekile. URute uthobeke ngeyona ndlela, yaye uyabulela ngamazwi akhe okumqinisekisa nayintuthuzelo. Akalindelanga ukuba kungathethwa ngale ndlela ngaye kangangokuba uqhubeka ezilahlela emsebenzini. Kamva ebudeni besidlo, uBhohazi uyambiza uRute esithi: ‘Sondela, udle isonka ulithi nkxu iqhekeza lakho lesonka kwiviniga.’ Wadla wonela waza okuseleyo waphathela uNahomi owayesekhaya.—Rute 2:14.

Ekupheleni kosuku, uRute wayebhikice irhasi emalunga neelitha ezingama-22. Ugoduka nayo kwakunye nokutya okwakusele esiya kuNahomi. (Rute 2:15-18) Evuyela le ndyebo, uNahomi uyabuza: “Ububhikica phi namhlanje? . . . Kwanga angasikelelwa lowo uye wakuphawula.” Xa efumanisa ukuba wayebonwe nguBhohazi, uNahomi uthi: “Makasikelelwe nguYehova, ongabushiyanga ububele bakhe bothando kwabaphilayo nabafileyo. . . . Le ndoda ihlobene nathi. Ngomnye wabahlawuleli bethu.”—Rute 2:19, 20.

Ukufumana “Indawo Yokuphumla”

Enqwenelela umolokazana wakhe “indawo yokuphumla,” okanye ikhaya, uNahomi uxhakamfula eli thuba lokufuna umhlawuleli, ngokuvisisana noMthetho kaThixo. (Levitikus 25:25; Duteronomi 25:5, 6) Ngoku uNahomi uyala uRute ngobuchule, embonisa into afanele ayenze—indlela yokutsala ingqalelo kaBhohazi. Ezilungisile yaye eyalwe kakuhle, ebusuku, uRute uyahamba esiya kwisanda sikaBhohazi. Ufika elele ubuthongo. Umtyhila iinyawo aze amlindele ukuba othuke.—Rute 3:1-7.

Akuba othukile uBhohazi, isenzo esifuziselayo sikaRute ngokungathandabuzekiyo simnceda aqonde ukubaluleka kwesicelo sakhe sokuba ‘olulele umbhinqo wakhe kwikhobokazana lakhe.’ Okwenziwa nguRute kukhumbuza lo mYuda walupheleyo ngembopheleleko yakhe njengomhlawuleli ekubeni wayesisalamane sendoda kaRute eyafayo, uMahalon.—Rute 3:9.

URute wafika ebusuku engalindelwanga. Sekunjalo, indlela uBhohazi asabela ngayo xa uRute esithi makabe ngumhlawuleli ibonisa ukuba le yayingeyonto eyayingalindelwanga kwaphela. UBhohazi wasamkela isicelo sikaRute.

Indlela uRute awayethetha ngayo yabonisa ukuba ukhathazekile, nto leyo eyabangela uBhohazi amqinisekise esithi: “Ntombi yam, musa ukoyika. Ndiya kukwenzela konke oko ukutshoyo, kuba wonk’ ubani osemasangweni abantu bam uyakuqonda ukuba ungumfazi obalaseleyo.”—Rute 3:11.

Isibakala sokuba uBhohazi wasigqala isenzo sikaRute njengesibonisa ukulunga kubonakala kumazwi akhe athi: “Ngamana uYehova angakusikelela, ntombi yam. Ububele bakho bothando uye wabubonisa kakuhle ngakumbi ekugqibeleni kunasekuqaleni.” (Rute 3:10) Ekuqaleni, uRute wabonakalisa ububele bothando, okanye uthando olunyanisekileyo kuNahomi. Ekugqibeleni ngokungazingci wazazisa kuBhohazi, indoda eyayisel’ ikhulile, kuba yayingumhlawuleli. Wayekulungele ukuyivelisela inzala indoda yakhe eyayifile, uMahalon, kunye noNahomi.

Umhlawuleli Uyarhoxa

Ngentsasa elandelayo, uBhohazi ubiza esinye isalamane, esibizwa ngokuba ‘nguZibani-bani,’ osisalamane sikaNahomi esisondeleyo ngaphezu kwakhe yena Bhohazi. Phambi kwabantu namadoda amakhulu esixeko, uBhohazi uthi: ‘Ke mna, ndiye ndacinga ukuba ndikuxelele ngelungelo lakho lokuthenga kuNahomi isiziba somhlaba somyeni wakhe uElimeleki, kuba ufanele asithengise.’ UBhohazi uhlabela mgama esithi: ‘Ngaba uza kusithenga? Ukuba akunjalo, mna ndiza kusithenga.’ Akukuva oko uZibani-bani uthi uza kusithenga.—Rute 4:1-4.

Kodwa kukho into eyothusa uZibani-bani! Ngoku uBhohazi phambi kwawo onke amangqina uthi: “Ngemini othenga ngayo umhlaba esandleni sikaNahomi, nakuRute umMowabhikazi, umfazi wendoda efileyo, umele uwuthenge ukuze uvuse igama lendoda efileyo kwilifa layo.” Sisoyika ukulahlekelwa lilifa laso, esi salamane siyalityeshela ilungelo laso lokuba ngumhlawuleli sisithi: “Andikwazi ukuwuhlawulela mna.”—Rute 4:5, 6.

Ngokwesithethe, indoda eyayingafuni ukuba ngumhlawuleli yayifanele ikhulule imbadada ize iyinike isalamane sayo. Ngoko xa umhlawuleli wathi kuBhohazi, “Zihlawulele wona,” wakhulula imbadada yakhe. Wandula ke uBhohazi athi kumadoda amakhulu nakubantu bonke: “Ningamangqina namhlanje ukuba ndithenga konke okwakukokukaElimeleki nako konke okwakukokukaKiliyon noMahalon esandleni sikaNahomi. KwanoRute umMowabhikazi, umfazi kaMahalon, ndiyamthenga ukuba abe ngumfazi wam ukuze kuvuke igama lendoda efileyo elifeni layo . . . Ningamangqina namhlanje.”—Rute 4:7-10.

Bonke abantu ababesesangweni bathi kuBhohazi: “Wanga uYehova angamnika umfazi oza endlwini yakho ukuba abe njengoRakeli noLeya, bobabini abakha indlu kaSirayeli; nawe ulingqine ixabiso lakho kwaEfratha uze uzenzele igama eBhetelehem.”—Rute 4:11, 12.

Emva kokuba lento yamkelwe ngabantu bonke, uBhohazi uthabatha uRute njengomfazi wakhe. Umzalela unyana ogama linguObhedi, yaye ngaloo ndlela uRute noBhohazi baba ngookhokhokazi bakaKumkani uDavide yaye ekugqibeleni bakaYesu Kristu.—Rute 4:13-17; Mateyu 1:5, 6, 16.

“Umvuzo Ogqibeleleyo”

Ebudeni bayo yonke le ngxelo, ukususela ekubuliseni abasebenzi bakhe ngobubele ukusa ekwamkeleni imbopheleleko yakhe yokugcina igama lentsapho kaElimeleki, uBhohazi uzingqina eyindoda ebalaseleyo—indoda ethetha ize yenze, nenegunya. Kwangaxeshanye, wayeyindoda enokuzeyisa, enokholo nenyanisekileyo. Kwakhona uBhohazi wayenesisa, ububele, enyulu yaye eyithobela ngokupheleleyo imiyalelo kaYehova.

URute wayenothando olubalaseleyo ngoYehova, uthando olunyanisekileyo ngoNahomi, wayekhuthele yaye ethobekile. Akumangalisi ke ngoko ukuba abantu bamgqale ‘njengomfazi obalaseleyo.’ Wayengasidli “isonka sobuvila,” yaye ngenxa yokuzibhokoxa kwakhe emsebenzini, wayesabelana noninazala osweleyo. (IMizekeliso 31:27, 31) Ngoxa wayezimisele ukumnyamekela uNahomi, kufanele ukuba oku kwamzisela uRute uyolo lokupha.—IZenzo 20:35; 1 Timoti 5:4, 8.

Le yimizekelo emihle esiyifumana kwincwadi kaRute! UNahomi uyakhunjulwa nguYehova. URute ufumana “umvuzo ogqibeleleyo,” njengokhokhokazi kaYesu Kristu. UBhohazi usikelelwa ‘ngomfazi obalaseleyo.’ Thina sifumana imizekelo yokholo kubantu abanjalo.

Ukuba Nethemba

Ukuba ukhe uvakalelwa kukuba uphila kumaxesha anzima, ibali likaRute linokukwenza ube nethemba. Le ncwadi ingumqukumbelo omhle wencwadi yaBagwebi. Incwadi kaRute isixelela indlela uYehova awamsebenzisa ngayo umhlolokazi othobekileyo osuka kwilizwe lasemzini lakwaMowabhi ukuba azalele abantu bakhe ukumkani. Ngokuchasene nembali yencwadi yaBagwebi, ukholo lukaRute lubonakala lugqwesile ngelo xesha.

Ngokufunda ibali likaRute, unokuba nesiqinisekiso sokuba enoba amaxesha anganzima kangakanani na, uThixo uya kusoloko ebakhathalela abantu bakhe yaye ezifeza iinjongo zakhe.
