Isayensi—Ukufuna Kwesintu Iqiniso Okuqhubekayo
Ukuhlangabezana Nezinselele Zekhulu Lama-21

Ngokusobala, ngenxa yokulinganiselwa kwayo okuningi, isayensi yosuku lwanamuhla ayikwazi ukusingatha ngokwanelisayo izinselele zekhulu lama-21. Wonke umuntu uyavuma ukuthi kumelwe kwenziwe okuthile ngokushesha. Ngo-November odlule iqembu lososayensi abangu-1 575, kuhlanganise nabangu-99 abawina umklomelo kaNobel, lakhipha inkulumo eyayinesihloko esithi “Isixwayiso Sososayensi Bomhlaba Kubantu” elabhala kuyo ukuthi: “Sekusele isikhathi esingaphansi kweshumi leminyaka noma amashumi ambalwa ngaphambi kokuba ithuba lokugwema izinsongo esibhekene nazo manje lisilahlekele namathemba esintu anyamalale ngokungenakulinganiswa.” Lagomela: “Abantu nezwe elingokwemvelo kubhekene nenhlekelele.”
Izixwayiso ezifanayo ziye zamenyezelwa ngaphambili. Eqinisweni, ngo-1952, uBertrand Russell, isazi sefilosofi saseBrithani sekhulu lama-20 nesiwumsekeli wesayensi ngokwaso, sathi: “Uma ukuphila komuntu kuzoqhubeka naphezu kwesayensi, isintu kuzodingeka sifunde ukulawula imizwelo, lokho okwakungadingeki esikhathini esidlule. Abantu kuzodingeka bathobele umthetho, ngisho nakuba becabanga ukuthi umthetho awunabo ubulungisa futhi uyakhetha. . . . Uma kungenzeki uhlanga lwesintu luzobhubha, futhi luzobhubha ngenxa yesayensi. Futhi ‘ngokuHlakanipha’ ngisho ukuzimisela ukuzithoba emthethweni njengoba umiswe igunya lomhlaba wonke. Ngesaba ukuthi isintu singase sikhethe uKufa. Ngithemba ukuthi ngenza iphutha.”
Iqiniso liwukuthi, abantu abazimisele ukuvumelana nezindinganiso ezilungile bambalwa namuhla. Owayelwela amalungelo omphakathi uMartin Luther King ongasekho washo ngokunembile: “Amandla ethu angokwesayensi aye ahlula amandla ethu angokomoya. Sinemicibisholo eqondisiwe nabantu abaphambukisiwe.” Nokho, eqinisweni uRussell ngokungazi wathola ikhambi lezinkinga zezwe lapho ethi isintu kuyomelwe ‘sizithobe emthethweni njengoba umiswe igunya lomhlaba wonke.’
Ubani Ongaxazulula Lenkinga?
Yiqiniso, uBertrand Russell wayengabhekiseli egunyeni laphezulu lapho ekhuluma ngomthetho njengoba umiswe igunya lomhlaba wonke. Nokho, ukulalela imithetho yegunya elinjalo yilokho kanye okudingekayo. Imithetho yabantu neziphathimandla ezingabantu ngokuqinisekile akulona ikhambi. Ngempela, uNkulunkulu uMninimandla onke kuphela, ogama lakhe linguJehova, onganikeza igunya lomhlaba wonke elinamandla nekhono lokuhlangabezana nezinselele zekhulu lama-21. (IHubo 83:18) Igunya bonke okumelwe bazithobe kulo uma bezothola ukuphila uMbuso kaNkulunkulu, okuwuhulumeni wezwe wasezulwini omiswe uMdali, uJehova uNkulunkulu.
Kudala, iBhayibheli labikezela ngokuphathelene nalohulumeni: “Ngokuba sizalelwa umntwana, siphiwa indodana, umbuso uyakuba-semahlombe akhe, negama lakhe liyakuthiwa . . . iNkosi yokuthula. Umbuso uyakuba-mkhulu, ukuthula kungabi-nakuphela.” (Isaya 9:6, 7) Lomntwana owabikezelwa, uJesu Kristu, wazalwa ngokuyisimangaliso incasakazi uMariya futhi wazalelwa eBetlehema laseJudiya.—Luka 1:30-33.
Lapho esemhlabeni uJesu wafundisa abalandeli bakhe ukuthandaza ngohulumeni kaNkulunkulu lapho ethi: “Ngakho-ke anokhuleka kanje, nithi: . . . mawufike umbuso wakho; mayenziwe intando yakho emhlabeni njengasezulwini.” (Mathewu 6:9, 10) Umoya ongcwele onamandla kaJehova uNkulunkulu kuphela, noma amandla ayisiphekupheku, ongasiza abantu abazimisele ukwenza izinguquko ezidingekile ekuphileni kwabo ngokuvumelana nemithetho yokulunga kahulumeni wakhe. Isayensi ayinakukwazi ukwenza lokho. Izinkulungwane zeminyaka yokungezwani nokudideka ziyisiqinisekiso sokuthi ayinakukwazi.
UJehova uNkulunkulu, ongalinganiselwe olwazini olungokwesayensi olunembile, uyoqikelela ukuthi umhlaba ujabulela izimo zePharadesi, ngisho nanjengoba zazikhona ensimini yase-Edene, lapho edala umbhangqwana wokuqala ongabantu. Ngalesosikhathi wabayala: “Zalani, nande, nigcwalise umhlaba, niwunqobe.” (Genesise 1:28) Nakuba bahluleka ukulalela futhi bengazange basifeze lesosabelo, uJehova uNkulunkulu uyoqikelela ukuthi injongo yakhe yokuqala yokuba lomhlaba ube ipharadesi iyagcwaliseka. “Ngikhulumile, ngiyakukufikisa,” uyasho. (Isaya 46:11) Kodwa iyogcwaliseka nini injongo yokuqala kaNkulunkulu ngomhlaba?
UJesu Kristu nabaphostoli bakhe bachaza izimo ezaziyoba khona emhlabeni “ezinsukwini zokugcina,” ngokushesha nje ngaphambi kokuba uMbuso kaNkulunkulu uthathe indawo yabo bonke ohulumeni babantu. (2 Thimothewu 3:1-5; Mathewu 24:3-14, 37-39; 2 Petru 3:3, 4) Lapho umuntu efunda iziprofetho zeBhayibheli ezikhonjwe lapha futhi aziqhathanise nezenzakalo zezwe, kuba sobala ukuthi siphila esikhathini lapho uMbuso kaNkulunkulu uzothatha khona isinyathelo esichazwe eBhayibhelini encwadini kaDaniyeli 2:44: “Ezinsukwini zalawomakhosi [ohulumeni babantu ababusayo manje] uNkulunkulu wasezulwini uyakumisa umbuso ongasoze wachithwa nobukhosi bawo bungayikushiyelwa kwabanye abantu, kepha uyakuchoboza, uqede yonke lemibuso, wona uqobo ume phakade.”
Ukuphila Esikhathini Esizayo Esiseduze
Ake ucabange nje ukuthi lokho kuyosho ukuthini ngesikhathi esizayo esiseduze! Yeka izinto ezimangalisayo ezigcinelwe isintu phakathi nekhulu leminyaka elizayo, uma kungekhona ngisho nangaphambi kwalokho! Imiphumela emibi yezinkulungwane zeminyaka zokubusa komuntu ongaphelele, inkolo enobuzenzisi, ezentengiselwano ezihahayo, nesayensi yalelizwe kuyothathelwa indawo ukubusa kwaphezulu, okuyobusisa abantu ngaphezu kwalokho abakulindele.
IBhayibheli lichaza izenzakalo okuqinisekile ukuthi ziyokwenzeka ezweni elisha likaNkulunkulu lokulunga ngalendlela: “Bheka‚ itabernakele likaNkulunkulu likubantu; uyakuhlala nabo‚ babe-ngabantu bakhe‚ yena uNkulunkulu abe-nabo‚ azesule izinyembezi zonke emehlweni abo; ukufa akusayikuba-khona; nokudabuka‚ nokukhala‚ nobuhlungu akusayikuba-khona; ngokuba okokuqala kudlulile.”—IsAmbulo 21:3, 4.
Ngakho-ke, okubaluleke kakhulu kuwe ukuqaphela ukubala okuhlehlela emuva ngokushesha okuyophelela ekubhujisweni kwalesimiso sezwe esingaphansi kokulawula kombusi wezwe onamandla, ongabonakali, uSathane uDeveli. (Johane 12:31; 2 Korinte 4:3, 4) Kubalulekile ukuba wazi intando kaNkulunkulu futhi uyenze, ngoba iBhayibheli liyathembisa: “Izwe liyadlula kanye nenkanuko yalo; kepha owenza intando kaNkulunkulu uhlala kuze kube-phakade.”—1 Johane 2:17.
Ngakho-ke, uma isikhathi sisavuma, sengathi ungawasebenzisa ngokuhlakanipha amalungiselelo kaJehova okusinda. Khona-ke uyoba nelungelo lokujabulela ukuphila esikhathini esizayo, yebo, phakathi nekhulu lama-21 elizayo—kanye naphakathi kwekhulu lama-22, elama-23, namanye amakhulu angenakubalwa kamuva.

Naphezu kwentuthuko engokwesayensi kusatholakala uquqaba lwezingane ezilambayo nabantu abadala abawohlokayo. Kodwa ngokushesha ngaphansi koMbuso kaNkulunkulu wobuMesiya, “kuyakuba-khona inala kakolweni ezweni esiqongweni sezintaba; ukudla kwalo kuyakuhashazela.”—IHubo 72:16.
Naphezu kwentuthuko engokwesayensi izigidi zisabhekana nokucindezelwa nobudlova. Kodwa ngokushesha iNkosi yoMbuso kaNkulunkulu wobuMesiya “iyakukhulula ompofu ozikhalela kuyo, nohluphekayo ongenamsizi. . . . Iyakukhulula umphefumulo wabo okhahlweni nasendluzuleni.”—IHubo 72:12-14.
Naphezu kwentuthuko engokwesayensi inani labantu abangenamakhaya, abantula izindlu nokudla okwanele, liyaqhubeka landa emhlabeni wonke. Kodwa ngokushesha ngaphansi koMbuso kaNkulunkulu wobuMesiya, abantu “bayakwakha izindlu, bahlale kuzo; . . . Abayikwakha, kuhlale omunye; abayikutshala, kudle omunye.”—Isaya 65:21, 22.
Naphezu kwentuthuko yezokwelapha izifo ezingase zivinjelwe ziyaqhubeka nokubulala izigidi. Kodwa ngokushesha ngaphansi koMbuso kaNkulunkulu wobuMesiya, “abakhé khona abayikusho ukuthi: Ngiyagula.”—Isaya 33:24.
