Umphostoli uPawulu watshela abadala abangamaKristu e-Efesu: “Ziqapheleni nina nomhlambi wonke anibeke kuwo uMoya oNgcwele ukuba nibe-ngababonisi bokwalusa ibandla likaNkulunkulu azizuzele lona ngegazi lakhe.”—IzEnzo 20:28.
UPawulu akazange achaze ngokuningiliziwe indlela umoya kaNkulunkulu osebenza ngayo ekumisweni okunjalo. Nokho, singazuza ukuqondisisa kulokho okwenzeka lapho indikimba ebusayo yekhulu lokuqala icabangela umbuzo ophathelene nokusoka. Ifushanisa isiphetho sayo, yaloba: “Ngokuba kwaba-kuhle kuMoya oNgcwele nakithi ukuba singanithwesi umthwalo omkhulu ngaphandle kwalezizinto ezifunekayo.” (IzEnzo 15:28) Umoya kaNkulunkulu, okungamandla akhe ayisiphekupheku angesiye umuntu, wasiza kanjani esinqumweni esisodwa esafinyelelwa ngalesosikhathi?
IzEnzo isahluko 15 zibonisa ukuthi okokuqala uPawulu noBarnaba baphakamisa umbuzo. Khona-ke kwase kuba nengxoxo. Umphostoli uPetru walandisa ngalokho okwaholela ekubhapathizweni koweZizwe ongasokiwe uKorneliyu nendlu yakhe. UPetru wachaza ukuthi ‘uNkulunkulu wabafakazela, ebapha uMoya oNgcwele njengathi.’ (IzEnzo 15:7, 8; 10:9-48) Ngokulandelayo uPawulu noBarnaba ‘balandisa ngezibonakaliso nangezimangaliso zonke uNkulunkulu abezenzile ngabo phakathi kwabezizwe.’ (IzEnzo 15:12) Kanjalo, ngokusebenza kwawo kuPetru, kuKorneliyu, kuPawulu, nakuBarnaba, umoya ongcwele wabonisa ukuthi abeZizwe kwakungadingeki ukuba basokwe.
Nokho kwakunokusebenza okungaphezulu komoya ongcwele okwakuhilelekile kulesosinqumo esafinyelelwa indikimba ebusayo. Singasho ukuthi yayicele usizo lomoya ezingxoxweni zayo. Usizo olunjalo kungenzeka lwashukumisela umfundi uJakobe ukuba akhumbule isiprofetho esikuAmose 9:11, 12, nokubona ukusebenza kwaso. Yebo, lesosiprofetho sasibhalwe ngaphansi kokuphefumlela komoya engcwele. (IzEnzo 15:13-20) Ngokungaphezulu, “abaphostoli namadoda amadala eJerusalema” ayenza indikimba ebusayo ayengamaKristu ayegcotshwe ngomoya ongcwele futhi ayebonisa ukusebenza kwawo ekuphileni kwawo, njengokuthela izithelo zawo.—IzEnzo 15:2; Roma 8:14-17; 1 Korinte 7:40; Galathiya 5:22, 23.
Ngakho ngaphandle kokuba kube khona isiyalo esithile esivela ezulwini embuzweni wokusoka, labo bendikimba ebusayo babengasho ngokuqondile ukuthi “umoya ongcwele” wawubaholele esinqumweni sabo.
Kungokufanayo nangokumiswa kwamadoda angamaKristu ukuba abe abadala, noma ababonisi, emabandleni namuhla. Ngezikhathi ezithile iqembu labadala (ngokunokwenzeka kuhlanganise nombonisi ojikelezayo weNhlangano) liyahlangana ukuba licabangela ukutusa abazalwane ukuba bamiswe njengababonisi. Labo abaseqenjini bona ngokwabo baye bakhethwa njengabadala futhi babonisa ekuphileni kwabo ukuthi banomoya. Ingxoxo yabo ivulwa ngomthandazo ukuze baqondiswe umoya. Khona-ke, phakathi nomhlangano, bayacubungula ukuthi umzalwane ngamunye ocatshangelwayo uyahlangabezana nezimfanelo zabadala ezibekwe eBhayibheli, ezalotshwa ngaphansi kokuqondisa komoya ongcwele. (1 Thimothewu 3:2-7; Thithu 1:5-9) Bacabangela nokuthi umzalwane uyakufakazela yini endleleni yakhe yokuphila ukuthi ‘ugcwele uMoya nokuhlakanipha.’ (IzEnzo 6:3) Uma bevuma ukuthi ungowalolohlobo nokuthi uyahlangabezana nezimfanelo ngezinga elifanelekile, ukutusa kwabo kuyiswa eNdikimbeni Ebusayo emiswe ngomoya noma abameleli bayo abakhethiwe. Kamuva ibandla lingaziswa ukuthi umzalwane uye wamiswa.
Ngokuqondakalayo, umdala omisiwe akakapheleli, futhi angase ashiyeke. Kodwa abaphostoli babengaphelele, kokubili ngaphambi kokuba uJesu abakhethe nalapho bekhonza endikimbeni ebusayo kamuva. (Luka 9:46, 54; 22:54-62; Galathiya 2:11-14) Nokho, ngokuqinisekile, babenomoya kaNkulunkulu futhi bamiswa ngaphansi kokuqondisa kwawo. Ngokufanayo, abazalwane nodade bangaqiniseka ngokuthi ‘uMoya oNgcwele ubeke ababonisi bokwalusa ibandla.’ (IzEnzo 20:28) Kungokuphathelene namadoda anjalo ukuba kunikezwe leseluleko: “Bakhumbuleni ababenihola bekhuluma izwi likaNkulunkulu kini, niqonda ukuphela kokuhamba kwabo, nilingise ukukholwa kwabo.”—Heberu 13:7.
