Nokho, lokho uJesu akusho kubafundi bakhe kuJohane 20:23, ocashunwe ngenhla, kubonisa ukuthi uNkulunkulu wanikeza abaphostoli amandla akhethekile ngokuqondene nalokhu. AmaKristu angazithethelela izono ezithile, ngokuvumelana neseluleko somphostoli uPawulu esilotshwe kweyabase-Efesu 4:32: “Yibani nomusa komunye nomunye, ninobubele besisa, nithethelelane ngokukhululekile njengoba nje noNkulunkulu anithethelela ngokukhululekile ngoKristu.” Lapha uPawulu wayekhuluma ngezinkinga zomuntu siqu phakathi kwamaKristu, njengokukhuluma ngokunganaki. Uma nithethelela izono zanoma ibaphi abantu, bahlala bethethelelwe zona; uma nigcina ezanoma ibaphi abantu, zihlala zigciniwe.’”—Johane 20:21-23.

Phakathi kokunye, labo abamukela umoya baphinde bazalwa njengamadodana kaNkulunkulu angokomoya anethemba lokuba ababusi abakanye noKristu ezulwini. Kunezono ezingathi sína abadala bebandla okufanele bazisingathe, njengokweba, ukuqamba amanga, noma ukuziphatha okubi okungathi sína. Njengasendabeni yomuntu waseKorinte yasendulo, lapho umenzi wesono esingathi sína enqaba ukuphenduka, kumelwe asuswe ekuhlanganyeleni. Khona-ke, lapho umuntu esebuyiselwe ekuhlanganyeleni, abadala bangamsiza ngokomoya ukuba aqine okholweni. Abanye ebandleni bangathethelela ngendlela amaKristu aseKorinte athethelela ngayo umuntu osusiwe ekuhlanganyeleni owayesebuyiselwa emuva ngaleso sikhathi.
Lapho besingatha izindaba ngalendlela, abadala abazibekeli izindinganiso zabo siqu zokwahlulela. Basebenzisa izimiso zeBhayibheli futhi balandele izimiso ezingokomBhalo uJehova azibekayo. Ngakho, konke ukuthethelela noma ukungathetheleli okwenziwa abadala kuyoba ngomqondo wamazwi kaJesu akuMathewu 18:18: “Ngiqinisile ngithi kini madoda, Noma iziphi izinto eningase nizibophe emhlabeni ziyobe ziyizinto eziboshiwe ezulwini, futhi noma iziphi izinto eningase nizithukulule emhlabeni ziyobe ziyizinto ezithukululiwe ezulwini.” Izenzo zabo ziyomane zibonise indlela uJehova abheka ngayo izindaba njengoba ivezwe eBhayibhelini.
Ngakho-ke, lokho uJesu akusho, njengoba kulotshwe kuJohane 20:23, akuphikisani neminye imiBhalo, kodwa kubonisa ukuthi abaphostoli babenegunya elikhethekile ngokuqondene nokuthethelela, ngokuvumelana nendima yabo ekhethekile lapho ibandla lobuKristu lisafufusa.
