“Ngingasitholaphi Isikhathi?”

1 Yilokho abaningi kithi abakhala ngakho, ngoba sihlale simatasa njalo. Kuye kwathiwa isikhathi siyimpahla yethu eyigugu kunazo zonke kodwa futhi esheshe idlule kunazo zonke. Ngakho singasitholaphi isikhathi sezinto ezibaluleke ngempela, njengokufunda nokutadisha iZwi likaNkulunkulu?—Fil. 1:10.

2 Isihluthulelo asikona ukufuna isikhathi esengeziwe, kodwa ukunquma lokho esifuna ukukwenza ngesikhathi esinaso. Sonke sinamahora angu-168 ngesonto, cishe ayikhulu kuwo siwasebenzisela ukulala nokusebenza. Ngakho singawasebenzisa kanjani lawa amanye amahora ngendlela ezuzisa kakhulu? Eyabase-Efesu 5:15-17 itusa ukuba singahambi ‘njengabantu abangahlakaniphile kodwa njengabahlakaniphileyo, sizithengisisela ithuba, siqonda ukuthi iyini intando kaJehova.’ Lokhu kubonisa ukuthi kudingeka siwasebenzise ngokugcwele wonke amathuba ukuze senze lokho uJehova athi kubalulekile.

3 UJesu waqhathanisa izinsuku zethu nezikaNowa. (Luka 17:26, 27) Emuva ngaleso sikhathi abantu babematasa ngezinto zokuphila zemihla nemihla. Yize kunjalo, uNowa wasenza isikhathi sokwakha umkhumbi omkhulu nesokushumayela. (Heb. 11:7; 2 Pet. 2:5) Kanjani? Ngokubeka intando kaNkulunkulu kuqala nangokumlalela ngokwenza izinto ‘njengoba nje’ ayeyaliwe.—Gen. 6:22.

4 Yini Okufanele Ize Kuqala? UJesu wathi: “Umuntu akumelwe aphile ngesinkwa sodwa, kodwa ngawo wonke amazwi aphuma emlonyeni kaJehova.” (Math. 4:4) Isonto ngalinye, sithola “isilinganiso . . . sokudla [okungokomoya] ngesikhathi esifanele.” (Luka 12:42) Ukuze sizuze ngempela, kudingeka isimiso sasikhathi sonke, sokufunda nokutadisha ukuze sikugayisise konke. Ngenxa yokuthi siyakwazisa ukudla okungokomoya, asikubheki njengokudla okuthengiswa ezitolo zokudla, okudliwa ngokushesha njengalapho nje umuntu ojahile edla bume. Kunalokho, ukwazisa okufanele kusishukumisela ukuba sizinike isikhathi sokutadisha nokuzijabulela izinto ezingokomoya.

5 Ukudla ukudla okungokomoya kungaholela ekuphileni okuphakade. (Joh. 17:3) Kufanele kube phezulu eqhulwini esimisweni sethu sansuku zonke. Singasithola yini isikhathi esingasibekela eceleni ukuze sifunde iBhayibheli nsuku zonke futhi silungiselele imihlangano yobuKristu? Yebo, singasithola. Uma senza kanjalo, siyothola “umvuzo omkhulu” otholakala ngokwazi uNkulunkulu nangokwenza intando yakhe.—IHu. 19:7-11.
