Simple Life Don Make Dem Happy

DANIEL AND MIRIAM marry for September 2000, and dem come dey stay for one city wey be Barcelona for Spain. Daniel talk sey, dem dey live the kind life wey people dey call big man life. We still dey go preaching everytime.’ But something happen wey change their life.

For one convention wey dem do for 2006, Daniel hear one talk wey really touch am. For the talk, dem talk why Jehovah servant suppose help people come serve Jehovah before Armageddon. (Prov. 24:11) The talk show sey na our hand e dey to teach people the message wey dey Bible, wey fit save their life. (Acts 20:26, 27) Daniel remember how e feel when e hear the talk. E sey: ‘E just be like sey Jehovah dey talk to me.’ For the talk, dem still talk sey wetin dey make person happy pass, na when e do more for Jehovah work. Daniel know sey this one na true because Miriam, wey don dey pioneer, dey happy for the work.

Daniel talk sey, ‘I come tell myself sey time don reach to change many things for my life.’ And na wetin e do. E come dey use only small time for im work and e start to pioneer. E still think about how im and Miriam go happy, if dem go preach for where publishers no too many.

E FIRST HARD, BUT WE HEAR BETTER NEWS

For May 2007, Daniel and Miriam stop their work. Dem come go preach for Panama, one country wey dem don go before. The place wey dem go, get different different island for where dem dey call Bocas del Toro Archipelago for Caribbean Sea. Dem dey call many of the people wey dey stay there, Guaymi people. Daniel and Miriam think sey the money wey dem save go reach dem stay for Panama like eight month.

Dem use boat and bicycle travel go the different different island. Dem remember when dem first use bicycle go on top hill for hot sun. Dem travel reach about 20 miles (32 km). This one make Daniel tire well well sotey e nearly faint. The better thing be sey, all the Guaymi people wey dem meet as dem dey go, really welcome dem, especially after dem learn some greeting for the language. E no too tey, dem come get reach 23 Bible student.

When their money finish, e just be like sey make dem cry because dem go need to go back. Daniel remember how e be that time, e talk sey: ‘Water dey our eye as we see sey we go need to go back to Spain. E dey pain us sey we go leave all our Bible student dem.’ But after one month, dem hear better news. Miriam talk sey: ‘Dem sey make we do special pioneer work. We really happy sey we go remain for where we dey preach!’

WETIN MAKE DEM HAPPY PASS

Because Jehovah organization change many brothers work for 2015, dem come sey make Daniel and Miriam continue their preaching work as regular pioneer. So wetin dem go come do? Dem put mind for wetin Bible talk for Psalm 37:5: ‘Put everything wey you want do for Jehovah hand, trust am, and e go stand for you.’ Dem see work wey help dem continue to pioneer. Today, dem dey one congregation wey dey Veraguas for Panama.

Daniel talk sey: ‘Before we comot for Spain, we no believe sey we go fit live simple life. But today, na that kind life we dey live and we get the main things wey we need for life.’ Wetin dey make dem happy pass? Dem sey, ‘To teach people wey ready to learn about Jehovah na im dey make us happy pass!’
