Buqala Nini Ubomi Bomntu?

USEPTEMBA 21, 1989, wawungumhla ophawulekayo kwiNkundla yesiHlanu yeSithili seliZwana laseTennessee, eUnited States. Ngaloo mhla inkundla yesiphaluka yadlulisela oko kuyimbambano ngoya kuzithabathela iimbumba eziziimveku ezisixhenxe nezazikhenkciwe. Inkundla kwafuneka ukuba yenze isigqibo ngomzali owayeya kuzifumana njengoko babeqhawula umtshato. Noko ke, kwavela enye imbambano ekwafuneka ukuba kuzinziswe yona kuqala: Ngaba iimbumba eziziimveku ezingekazalwa zinokugqalwa njengezinto nje okanye njengabantu?

Ubomi Buqalisa Ekukhawulweni Kwabo

UYehova uThixo ‘ulithende lobomi’ yaye ‘ngaye sinobomi yaye siyashukushukuma kwaye siyaphila.’ (INdumiso 36:⁠9; IZenzo 17:​28, NW) UMdali yena uthi buqalisa nini ubomi? Ubomi bomntwana ubugqala njengobuxabisekileyo kwanakumanqanaba okukhula kwakhe kwasekuqaleni emva kokukhawulwa kwakhe. Kwiminyaka engaphezu kwengama-3 000 ngaphambi kwesigqibo esenziwa yinkundla ekhankanywe ngasentla, waphefumlela uDavide, umprofeti wakhe, ukuba abhale athi:

“Wandibiyela esizalweni sikama. Ndiyabulela kuwe ngenxa enokuba ndenziwe ngokoyikekayo, ngokubalulekileyo; zibalulekile izenzo zakho, umphefumlo wam uyazi kakuhle. Ayengagushekile kuwe amathambo am, mna ndenzelwayo entsithelweni [phakathi esibelekweni], ndalukwa ndayimfakamfele [imithambo engabonakaliyo ebuyisa nethumela igazi, etyhubela umzimba wonke okomoluko werhali eziyimibalabala zelaphu] ezinzulwini zomhlaba [ukuchaza okungokombongo iingotsi ezimnyama zesibeleko]. Amehlo akho andibona ndiseyimbumba, zazibhalwe encwadini yakho iimini zonke ziphela.”​—⁠INdumiso 139:​13-⁠16.

Ukususela kwixesha lokukhawulwa, umntu ukhula ngendlela apha echane ngokungathi uthobela imiyalelo eyandlalwe encwadini, umqulu omkhulu wencwadi. UGqr. Lejeune uthi, “Ubungakanani benkcazelo yeeseli ezikwinqanaba lezygote bebuya kuthi ukuba bebungachazwa buze bugcinwe kwikhompyutha buxelele ikhompyutha ichaze oko kuya kwenzeka ngokulandelayo, ubuninzi bale nkcazelo bukhulu ngokokude kungabikho mntu unokubulinganisa.”

Ubomi Bongekazalwa Buxabisekile

Ngaloo ndlela, imveku engekazalwa ekhula ngaphakathi esibelekweni ayiyiyo konke konke imbumba nje yesicwili. Ezinye iiBhayibhile ziguqulela ezi ndinyana zingasentla ngendlela ebonisa ukuba oko kwenzeka emfazini kuqwalaselwa kakhulu ngumthetho. Kanti, ukuba usana olo belunokubekwa phandle luze, beluya kuphila ixesha elingakanani olo sana? Luyinto nje engenakuzinceda, njengembumba eyimveku engekazalwa, alunawo amandla okuzixhasa. Usana olusandul’ ukuzalwa lufuna ikhusi, ukufudumala nokutya​—⁠inkxaso, uncedo olunokunikelwa kuphela ngumntu omkhulu, njengonina walo.

Ngoko ke, isigqibo esingokwasemthethweni esikhankanywe ngasentla siyavumelana nembono yeBhayibhile yokuba ubomi bomntu buqalisa ekukhawulweni kwakhe. Ubomi bongekazalwa asinto nje engaxabisekanga enokutshatyalaliswa ngabom njengesiphazamiso apha esingafunekiyo. Ubomi bomntu bungcwele kungekhona nje emva kokuba ephumile esibelekweni kodwa kwanaxa esengaphakathi esibelekweni.
