Ihlabathi Elilikhaya Kumntu Wonke

“Ekubeni iimbacu ziyingxaki ehlabathini lonke, isicombululo simele sifunwe lihlabathi lonke.”—UGil Loescher, unjingalwazi kulwalamano lwamazwe ngamazwe.

ISIBINI esiselula sazimela ngobusuku. Exhalabele ukhuseleko lwaso, umyeni akazange aphozise maseko, nangona sasinomntwana omncinane. Wayevile ukuba umlawuli welizwe olawula ngegqudu uceba ukuhlasela kuloo dolophu. Kamva le ntsapho ingamahlwempu yaziwa lihlabathi lonke. Igama lomntwana yayinguYesu, yaye abazali bakhe yayinguMariya noYosefu. Ezi mbacu azizange zishiye ilizwe lazo kuba zifuna ubuncwane bezinto eziphathekayo. Kunoko, ubomi bazo babusengozini. Kaloku, kwakufunwa ukuhlaselwa umntwana wazo!

Yaye okukhona umntu ephila njengembacu, kokukhona aye ecinezeleka, ingakumbi ukuba akanabudlelane nabantu basekuhlaleni. Iimbacu, njengabantu bonke, zifuna ukuba nendawo yazo esisigxina. Ngaba Ukubuyela Kwilizwe Lazo Sisicombululo?

Ebudeni beminyaka yee-1990, bamalunga nezigidi ezisithoba abantu abafudukileyo abaye babuyela kumakhaya abo. Kwabanye baba bantu, yayisisihlandlo sovuyo, yaye ngovuyo baqalisa ukuphucula ubomi babo. Kodwa abanye benjenjalo ngelokuncama. Babuyela nje ngenxa yokuba iimeko ziye zaba maxongo ngakumbi kwilizwe abafune ikhusi kulo. Iingxaki abahlangabezana nazo elubhacweni zazinkulu kangangokuba babona ukuba kubhetele babuyele ekhaya, nakuba babesazi ukuba baza kufika lungekho unqabiseko.

Naphantsi kweemeko ezintle, ukubuyela kwilizwe labo kubandakanya ubunzima kuba kuthetha ukufuduka ngokupheleleyo isihlandlo sesibini. IThe State of the World’s Refugees 1997-98 ithi: “Sihlandlo ngasinye sokufuduka sibandakanya ilahleko ethile, njengomhlaba, umsebenzi, amakhaya kunye nemfuyo. Yaye sihlandlo ngasinye sokubuyela kwilizwe lakho sisiqalo esinzima sokubuyisela izinto kwindlela ebezingayo ngaphambili.” Olunye uhlolisiso lweembacu ezibuyele kwilizwe lazo kumbindi Afrika lwabonisa ukuba “kwiimbacu eziye zafumana uncedo elubhacweni, ukubuyela emva kunokuba nzima ngakumbi kunobomi bokuba yimbacu.”

Noko ke, okona kubangel’ usizi nangakumbi yimeko yezigidi zeembacu ezinyanzelwa ukuba zibuyele kumazwe azo zingathandi. Zilindelwe ziziphi iimeko xa zifika? Ingxelo yeZizwe Ezimanyeneyo ithi: “Iimbacu ezibuyela emva zimele ziphile kwindawo engenamthetho, apho kugquba ubundlobongela nolwaphulo-mthetho, apho amajoni avela emkhosini axhaphaza abantu nendawo apho izixhobo ezincinane zifumaneka phantse kubantu bonke.” Ngokucacileyo, iindawo ezinobundlobongela ngolu hlobo azanelisi nkqu neemfuno ezisisiseko zonqabiseko zaba bantu bafudukileyo.

Ukwakha Ilizwe Apho Bonke Abantu Banqabisekileyo

Ukubuyisela iimbacu kumazwe azo ngenkani akunakuze kuzicombulule iingxaki zeembacu ukuba oonobangela abasisiseko abalungiswa. Ngowe-1999, uNkskz. Sadako Ogata, owayesakuba ligosa leUnited Nations High Commissioner for Refugees wathi: “Izinto eziye zenzeka kule minyaka ilishumi—ingakumbi ezo zenzeke kunyaka odluleyo—zibonisa ngokucacileyo ukuba imibandela ephathelele iimbacu ayinakuze ixutyushwe kungacingwa ngonqabiseko.”

Yaye ukungabikho konqabiseko kuchaphazela izigidi zabantu ehlabathini lonke. UKofi Annan, usosiba-jikelele weZizwe Ezimanyeneyo, uthi: “Kweminye imimandla yehlabathi, oorhulumente abakwazi ukusebenzisa igunya labo ngenxa yeengxwabangxwaba eziqhubeka ngaphakathi kumazwe abo, ezenza abahlali banganqabiseki. UKofi Annan wathi oothunywashe abaphambili ekubeni kungabikho unqabiseko—iimfazwe, intshutshiso nogonyamelo lobuzwe—ngokufuthi babangelwa yintiyo, ikhethe nokungabikho kokusesikweni. Ezi zinto zimbi azinakusuka zithi shwaka. Ngaba oku sisiqinisekiso sokuba ingxaki yeembacu iza kuthabath’ unyawo?

Ukuba izinto zinokuyekelwa ezandleni zabantu, ngokuqinisekileyo kuya kuba njalo. Kodwa eBhayibhileni, uThixo uthembisa ukuba “uphelisa iimfazwe kuse esiphelweni somhlaba.” (INdumiso 46:9) Ngokufanayo, esebenzisa umprofeti wakhe uIsaya wachaza ixesha apho abantu “ngokuqinisekileyo baya kwakha izindlu baze bahlale; batyale izidiliya baze badle isiqhamo sazo. . . . Abayi kubulalekela ilize, bengayi kuzalela ukuphazamiseka; ngenxa yokuba bayinzala eyenziwe ngabasikelelweyo bakaYehova, nabaphume kubo bakunye nabo.” (Isaya 65:21-23) Ngokuqinisekileyo iimeko ezinjalo ziya kuphelisa ingxaki yeembacu. Ngaba kungaze kube njalo?

Intshayelelo yomgaqo-siseko weUnited Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization ithi: “Ekubeni iimfazwe zaqalisa ezingqondweni zabantu, ukuyila uxolo kumele kuqale ezingqondweni zabantu.” UMdali wethu wazi kakuhle ukuba ukuguqulwa kwendlela yokucinga kuyafuneka. Kwaesi siprofeto sinye sicacisa isizathu sokuba ngeny’ imini wonke umntu emhlabeni eya kuhlala ngokunqabiseka sisithi: “Aziyi kwenzakalisa okanye zonakalise entabeni yam yonke engcwele; ngenxa yokuba umhlaba ngokuqinisekileyo uya kuzaliswa kukwazi uYehova njengamanzi egubungele ulwandle.”—Isaya 11:9.

AmaNgqina kaYehova sele ebonile ukuba ulwazi ngoYehova lunokoyisa ikhethe nentiyo. Kumsebenzi wawo wokushumayela owenziwa ehlabathini lonke, afundisa ngeempawu zobuKristu ezenza kubekho uthando endaweni yentiyo, kwanakumazwe ekugquba kuwo imfazwe. Kwakhona anceda iimbacu ngazo naziphi na iindlela anokunceda ngazo.

Kwelinye icala, ayazi ukuba isicombululo esisiso kwingxaki yeembacu siza kuvela kuKumkani omiselwe nguThixo, uYesu Kristu. Uyazi kakuhle indlela intiyo nogonyamelo ezinokubonakalisa ngayo ubomi babantu. IBhayibhile isiqinisekisa ukuba uza kugweba amahlwempu ngobulungisa. (Isaya 11:1-5) Phantsi kolawulo lwakhe lwasezulwini, kuya kwenziwa ukuthanda kukaThixo emhlabeni, njengasezulwini. (Mateyu 6:9, 10) Xa loo mini ifika, akuyi kubakho mfuneko yokuba kubekho umntu oyimbacu. Yaye wonke ubani uya kuba nendawo anokuthi likhaya.

Yintoni Efunekayo Ukuze Kuconjululwe Ingxaki Yeembacu?

“Ukuhlangabezana neemfuno zabantu behlabathi abafudukileyo—iimbacu nabantu abafudukele kwenye indawo kwakwilizwe labo—kunzulu ngakumbi kunokudala unqabiseko nokunikela nje uncedo lokwexeshana. UBukumkani BukaThixo Buthembisa Siphi Isicombululo?

“Emhlabeni wonke kuya kwenziwa ubulungisa nokusesikweni. Kuba wonke ubani uya kwenza okulungileyo, kuya kubakho uxolo ngonaphakade. Abantu bakaThixo abayi kukhathazeka, yaye amakhaya abo aya kuba noxolo aze akhuseleke.”—Isaya 32:16-18, Today’s English Version.
