“Abangabo Abehlabathi”

UBUKHULU becala, unqulo lwanamhlanje luyinxalenye yehlabathi, ngenxa yoko lunenxaxheba kwimibhiyozo yehlabathi yaye lubonakalisa umoya walo wobuhlanga. Isimo Sawo Sengqondo Ngakwabanye Abantu

ABafundi beBhayibhile bokuqala babekuqonda kakuhle ukuba amaKristu okwenyaniso ayengayi kuba yinxalenye yehlabathi. IMboniselo yachaza ukuba ngenxa yokuba abalandeli bakaKristu abathanjisiweyo babengcwaliselwe baza bazalwa ngomoya oyingcwele ukuba babe nesabelo kuBukumkani basezulwini, esi senzo sikaThixo sabenza bahluka kulo ihlabathi. Ukongezelela koko, yabonisa ukuba babenembopheleleko yokuwuphepha umoya wehlabathi—iinjongo, amabhongo namathemba alo, kwaneendlela zalo zokuzingca.—1 Yoh. 2:15-17.

Ngaba Unqulo Lufanele Lugxuphuleke Kwiipolitiki?

Kwezobupolitika, abalawuli bamazwe amaninzi aphambili, ngenxa yokuba babeqhogene necawa yamaKatolika okanye yamaProtestanti, kwakusekukudala besithi balawula ‘ngelungelo abalinikwe nguThixo,’ njengabameli boBukumkani bukaThixo yaye banenkoliseko kaThixo ekhethekileyo. Icawa yayihambisana norhulumente; naye ke urhulumente, wayeyixhasa icawa. Ngaba aBafundi beBhayibhile nabo bangena koku?

NjengamaKristu, aBafundi beBhayibhile babesazi ukuba umsebenzi ababefanele bazibhokoxe kuwo yayikukushumayela uBukumkani bukaThixo. Nangona babezabalazela ukwenza oko babevakalelwa kukuba kwakumkholisa uThixo, babengasoloko bengoondilele ngokupheleleyo. Oko babekwenza kwakuphenjelelwa yinkolelo, ababenayo nabanye ababezibabaza bengamaKristu, yokuba “amagunya aphezulu” ‘ayemiswe nguThixo,’ ngokwendlela ebhalwe ngayo kwiKing James Version.
