Ngaba kufanelekile ngomKristu ukuba adibane ngemicimbi yeshishini nongakholwayo, ekubeni iBhayibhile isixelela oku: “Musani ukunxulumana nabolunye uhlobo, abangakholwayo ke”?
Eso siluleko sisifumana kweyesi-2 kwabaseKorinte 6:14-16: “Musani ukunxulumana nabolunye uhlobo, abangakholwayo ke; kuba kunakwabelana kuni na ubulungisa nokuchasa umthetho? Kunabudlelane buni na ke ukukhanya nobumnyama? Unakuvumelana kuni na ke uKristu noBheliyali? Unasahlulelwano sini na okholwayo nongakholwayo? Inakudibana kuni na ke itempile kaThixo nezithixo?”
Akukho sizathu sakukholelwa ukuba umpostile uPawulos wanikela esi siluleko ngenjongo yokumisela izalelo ezithile, ezifana nokuchasa ukudibana komKristu ngemicimbi yeshishini nongakholwayo. Sekunjalo, isiluleko sakhe ngokuqinisekileyo sikwasebenza kule meko, nakwezinye iinkalo zobomi.
Eso siluleko uPawulos wasibhalela abazalwana bakhe abangamaKristu kwiKorinte yamandulo. Behlala kwisixeko esasonakele ngeyona ndlela, kwakufuneka yonke imihla balwe neengozi zokuziphatha nezokomoya. Ukuba babengazilumkelanga, babeya kuzichanaba kwiimpembelelo ezingakhiyo ezaziya kuthi ngokuthe ngcembe zilwenze buthathaka uzimiselo lwabo lokuba ngabantu abahlukileyo, “isizukulwana esinyuliweyo, isibingeleli esibukumkani, uhlanga olungcwele, abantu abayinqobo.”—1 Petros 2:9.
Ngaphambi kokubhala ingxelo ekweyesi-2 kwabaseKorinte 6:14-16, uPawulos waqhubana nengxaki enzulu eyayiphakathi kwabazalwana bakhe baseKorinte. Babevumele umkhwa wokuziphatha kakubi ngokugqith’ emgceni uqhubeke phakathi kwabo, ngoko uPawulos wayalela ukuba agxothwe okanye asuswe kubudlelane, loo moni ungaguqukiyo. (1 Korinte 5:1) Isenzo esiphosakeleyo saloo ndoda sabonisa ukuba unxulumano olubi okanye ukuzibandakanya ngokugqith’ emgceni kwiindlela zokuziphatha zehlabathi kunokuwachaphazela amaKristu.
AmaKristu aseKorinte ayefanele akuphephe ukunxulumana naloo ndoda igxothiweyo, kodwa ngaba oko kwakuthetha ukuba kwakufuneka azahlule ngokupheleleyo kwabangakholwayo? Ngaba ayefanele akuphephe ngandlela zonke ukunxulumana okanye ukuqhubana nabo bangengawo amaKristu, ngaloo ndlela esiba luhlobo oluthile lwehlelo elizikhethayo, kanye njengamaYuda awabalekela eQumran kufutshane noLwandle Olufileyo? Masivumele uPawulos aphendule: “Ndanibhalela encwadini apho ukuthi, maningazidibanisi nabenza umbulo; kodwa ningasenizahlula kanye kwabeli hlabathi abenza umbulo . . . okanye beniya kumelwa kukuphuma ehlabathini.”—1 Korinte 5:9, 10.
Oko kuthethwa ngaloo mazwi kucacile. UPawulos wayeqonda ukuba amaKristu ayesekwesi sijikelezi-langa, ephila phakathi kwabangakholwayo ekwanxulumana nabo phantse yonke imihla abo bantu babenokuziphatha okuphantsi nababenemilinganiselo eyahlukileyo. Ekubeni oku ngokuyintloko kwakungaphepheki, amaKristu ayefanele azilumkele iingozi zonxulumano olunjalo.
Ngoku kwakhona masiqwalasele incwadi yesibini kaPawulos eya kwabaseKorinte. Wabonisa ukuba amaKristu athanjisiweyo akufanelekele ukuba ngabalungiseleli bakaThixo, abathunywa abamela uKristu. Wabaxelela ukuba bazilumkele nxamnye nayiphi na into esenokubangela isikhubekiso eyayinokubangela ubulungiseleli babo bugculelwe. (2 Korinte 4:1–6:3) UPawulos wababongoza ngokungqalileyo abazalwana bakhe baseKorinte, ababefana nabantwana bakhe bokomoya, ukuba baphangalalise uthando lwabo. Umongo ubonisa ukuba uPawulos wayengabhekisi kwinkalo ethile yobomi, efana neshishini okanye umsebenzi, okanye emisela umthetho omele unyanzeliswe kule nkalo. Kunoko, wayenikela isiluleko esiphangaleleyo, esisengqiqweni nesiluncedo kwabo bazalwana wayebathanda kakhulu.
Ngokomzekelo, ngaba esi siluleko sasiya kusebenza kwimeko yomKristu owayenqwenela ukutshata? Ngokuqinisekileyo sasiya kusebenza. Kwincwadi yakhe yokuqala, umpostile waluleka amaKorinte awayefuna ukutshata ukuba akwenze oko “ngokwaseNkosini.” (1 Korinte 7:39) Wabethelela ubulumko baloo mazwi ngamazwi awawabhalayo kamva, njengoko echazwe kweyesi-2 kwabaseKorinte 6:14-18. Ukuba umKristu wayeza kucinga ngokutshata nomntu owayengenguye umkhonzi kaYehova nongenguye umlandeli kaKristu, wayeya kuba ucinga ngokunxulumana nongakholwayo. (Thelekisa iLevitikus 19:19; Duteronomi 22:10.) Ngokucacileyo, ukungafanelani ngokuyintloko kwakuya kwandisa iingxaki ezazisenokubakho, kuquka nezo zokomoya. Ngokomzekelo, lowo ungakholwayo usenokuba ngoku okanye kwixesha elizayo ubandakanyeka kunqulo lothixo wobuxoki. UPawulos waqiqa ngelithi: “Unakuvumelana kuni na ke uKristu noBheliyali?”
Noko ke, kuthekani ngenye inkalo yobomi—ukudibana ngemicimbi yeshishini nongakholwayo? Kwezinye iimeko umKristu usenokuvakalelwa kukuba ukuze afumane indlela yokuziphilisa nokunyamekela intsapho yakhe kufuneka adibane ngemicimbi yeshishini nobani ongenguye umKristu. (1 Timoti 5:8) Khawuqwalasele oko kuyimizekelo nje:
UmKristu usenokufuna ukuqalisa ishishini lokuthengisa izinto ezithile, kodwa ekuphela kwendlela anokukwenza ngayo oko kukuba adibane nomntu oneendlela zokufumana ezo zinto zifunekayo okanye imali. Omnye umKristu ufuna ukuba ngumlimi (okanye abe ngumfuyi); kodwa akafumani mhlaba, ngoko bekuya kufuneka adibane nobani onomdla wokumqeshisela umhlaba ukuze babelane ngengeniso efumanekayo. Mhlawumbi omnye umKristu akakwazi kungena kwishishini lokusebenza ngemibhobho yamanzi ngenxa yokuba uKesare unika abantu abambalwa kuphela amaphepha-mvume, ibe sele enikwe abathile; ekuphela kwendlela yokungena kwelo shishini iya kuba kukusebenza nesizalwana sakhe esingakholwayo esinalo iphepha-mvume.—Marko 12:17.
Le yimizekelo nje. Asizami kuchaza zonke izinto ezinokwenzeka, singazami nokuchaza ezamkelekileyo nezingamkelekanga. Kodwa ucinga ngale mizekelo, ngaba akusiboni isizathu sokuba isiluleko esikweyesi-2 kwabaseKorinte 6:14-18 singamelwe sityeshelwe?
UmKristu odibana ngemicimbi yeshishini nongakholwayo, enoba sisizalwana okanye ayisiso, kusenokwenzeka agaxeleke kwiingxaki nezilingo ezingalindelekanga. Mhlawumbi iqabane lakhe ligqiba kwelokuba indlela yokwenza ingeniso eninzi ikukunikela ingxelo engaphantsi yoko kufunyenweyo, okanye kuqeshwe abasebenzi ngaphandle kokugcina ingxelo yabo nemali abayamkelayo, kwanaxa oko kusaphula imithetho karhulumente. Lisenokuvuyela ukuthenga izinto zomgunyathi kumntu ohambisa impahla ethengiswayo ezingekho kuluhlu olukwi-invoyisi esemthethweni. Ngaba umKristu ebeya kuba nenxaxheba kwizinto ezinjalo okanye kukunganyaniseki okufanayo? Ibe ebeya kwenza ntoni umKristu xa kufika ixesha lokuba batyobele amaphepha erhafu okanye amanye amaxwebhu asemthethweni angendlela yabo yokuqhuba ishishini?—Eksodus 23:1; Roma 13:1, 7.
Okanye iqabane elingakholwayo leshishini lisenokufuna ukuquka izinto ezinxulumene neeholide zobuhedeni kwistokhwe, lithumele ikhadi lemibuliso yeholide ngegama lenkampani leyo, lize lihombise ishishini elo ngamathuba eeholide zonqulo. UPawulos wabuza: “Inakudibana kuni na itempile kaThixo nezithixo. Kuba nina niyitempile kaThixo ophilileyo.” Hayi indlela achane ngayo la mazwi: “Kungoko ndithi, Phumani phakathi kwabo, nizahlule, itsho iNkosi, Nento engcolileyo ningayichukumisi; ndandiya kunamkela”! (2 Korinte 6:16, 17) Ngokusebenzisa esi siluleko sobulumko, amaKristu amaninzi aye akhetha uhlobo lwemisebenzi yempangelo eya kuwachanaba kwiingxaki ezimbalwa kangangoko kunokwenzeka.—Hebhere 13:5, 6, 18.
Ibandla aliyalelwanga ukuba liliso okanye liphande ngento eyenziwa ngamaKristu kwimisebenzi yempangelo, enoba ngabaqeshwa okanye ngabantu abanamashishini. Kakade ke, ukuba kuyaziwa ukuba umKristu ubandakanyeka ekwenzeni okuphosakeleyo, okufana nokuhambisela phambili unqulo lobuxoki okanye uhlobo oluthile lokuxoka okanye lobusela, ibandla liya kunyanzeleka ukuba lithabathe amanyathelo ukuze lixhase imilinganiselo kaYehova.
Noko ke, ingongoma eyintloko ikukuba, eso siluleko sikaPawulos siphefumlelweyo sithi, “Musani ukunxulumana nabolunye uhlobo, abangakholwayo ke,” sinokunceda amaKristu aphephe iingxaki kunye naso nasiphi na isenzo esinokuphumela ekubeni abadala banikele ugwebo. AmaKristu alumkileyo aya kunikela ingqalelo kweso siluleko aze alumkele ukubandakanyeka kwiimeko apho aya kuba phantsi kwengcinezelo eyongezelelekileyo yokulalanisa kwimigaqo yeBhayibhile. Ukuba ubani uvakalelwa kukuba umele adibane ngemicimbi yeshishini nongakholwayo, abanye abamele bakhawuleze bamgwebe okanye bamgxeke, beqonda ukuba uya kumelana nemiphumo yokhetho lwakhe. Ngokuyintloko, uPawulos wayengamiseli mthetho ngokusesikweni, onyanzelisayo nxamnye nokudibana ngemicimbi yeshishini nongakholwayo. Sekunjalo, isiluleko sakhe asimele sibethwe ngoyaba. UThixo wasiphefumlela eso siluleko ibe wasivumela sabhalwa eBhayibhileni ukuze kungenelwe thina. Siya kuba silumkile ukuba siyasithobela.
