“Ofundayo Makasebenzise Ukuqonda”

“Xa nibona into elizothe ebangela isiphanziso . . . imi kwindawo engcwele, . . . mabandule abo bakwelakwaYuda baqalise ukusabela ezintabeni.”​—⁠MATEYU 24:​15, 16.

1. Saba nawuphi umphumo isilumkiso esanikelwa nguYesu esikuLuka 19:​43, 44?

18 Emva kokuxela kwangaphambili ‘ngokuma kwento elizothe kwindawo engcwele,’ uYesu walumkisa abo baqondayo ukuba bathabathe amanyathelo. Ngaba wayethetha ukuba ngelo xesha​—⁠xa “into elizothe” “imi kwindawo engcwele”​—⁠abantu abaninzi baza kuphuma kunqulo lobuxoki baye kunqulo lokwenyaniso? Akunjalo. 19 UYesu akazange athi ngabo baseYerusalem kuphela ekwakufuneka babaleke, ngokungathi eyona nto wayeyibethelela kukuba baphume kwisazulu sonqulo lwamaYuda; engazange kananjalo ayikhankanye kwisilumkiso sakhe into yokutshintsha unqulo​—⁠ukusaba kunqulo lobuxoki uze ubalekele kunqulo lokwenyaniso. Ngokuqinisekileyo abafundi bakaYesu babengafuni kulunyukiswa ngokusaba kolunye unqulo baze baye kolunye; babesele bengamaKristu okwenyaniso. Ibe uhlaselo lowama-66 C.E. aluzange lukhuthaze abo babeqhelisela ubuYuda eYerusalem nakulo lonke elakwaYuda ukuba balushiye olo nqulo baze bamkele ubuKristu. 20 Ngoko ke, iqaqobana labo banyuliweyo lalithobela njani icebiso likaYesu ngaloo mihla? Xa lashiya elakwaYuda laza labalekela ezintabeni ezingaphesheya kweYordan, labonisa ukuba lalingeyonxalenye yenkqubo yamaYuda yezobupolitika okanye yonqulo. 21. Yintoni esingafanele siyilindele xa “into elizothe” ihlasela?

Kwakhona sibalulekile isilumkiso sikaYesu sokungabuyeli ezindlwini ukuya kuphuthuma izambatho okanye ezinye izinto.
