Ngaba Sisono Ukutshaya?

IBhayibhile ayithethi nto ngokutshayaa okanye nayiphi na indlela yokusebenzisa icuba. Kodwa, inemigaqo ebonisa ukuba uThixo akazifuni izinto eziyimoshayo impilo neziwungcolisayo umzimba, nto leyo ethetha ukuba ukutshaya sisono.

  • Buxabise ubomi. “UThixo . . . ubanika bonke abantu ubomi nempefumlo.” (IZenzo 17:24, 25) Ubomi sisipho esivela kuThixo, asimele senze nantoni na eza kucutha ubomi bethu enjengokutshaya. Ukutshaya yenye yezinto ebulala abantu abaninzi, kodwa inokuphepheka.

  • Bathande abamelwane. “Uze umthande ummelwane wakho njengawe siqu.” (Mateyu 22:39) Ayikokubonisa uthando ukutshaya phakathi kwabantu. Abantu abaqhele ukunukiselwa ngecuba amaxesha amaninzi badla ngokugula zizigulo zabantu abatshayayo.

  • Isizathu sokungatshayi. “Niyinikele imizimba yenu ibe yimibingelelo ephilayo, engcwele, eyamkelekileyo kuThixo.” (Roma 12:1) “Masizihlambulule kuko konke ukudyobheka kwenyama nokomoya, sigqibelelisa ubungcwele sisoyika uThixo.” (2 Korinte 7:10) Ukusebenzisa icuba yinto engazange idalwe, kwaye engasondelanga tu ekubeni ngcwele, kuba icuba lenziwe ngezinto eziwungcolisayo umzimba zize ziwumoshe.

Ngaba iBhayibhile iyathetha ngokuzonwabisa ngentsangu okanye ezinye iziyobisi?

IBhayibhille akhonto iyithethayo ngentsangu nangenzinye iziyobisi. Kodwa inemigaqo egxeka ukuzonwabisa ngezinto eziyingozi ezinokwenza abantu babe ngamakhoboka azo. Ukongezelela kulo mgaqo, nazi izinto eziluncedo:

  • Sifanele sikwazi ukulawula iingqondo zethu. “Uze umthande uYehova uThixo wakho . . . ngengqondo yakho iphela.” (Mateyu 22:37, 38) “Hlalani nithe qwa ngokupheleleyo.” (1 Petros 1:13) Abantu abakwazi kuzilawula kakuhle iingqondo zabo xa besebenzisa iziyobisi eziyingozi, abanye bade babe ngamakhoboka azo. Basoloko becinga ukuba baza kuzifumana phi xa ziphelile endaweni yokuba bacinge ngezinto eziluncedo.—Filipi 4:8.

  • Simele sithobele imithetho yelizwe. “Bathobele oorhulumente namagunya alawulayo” (Tito 3:1) Kumazwe amaninzi, ezinye iziyobisi azivumelekanga ukuba zisetyenziswe. Ukuba sifuna ukuvuyisa uThixo, simele sithobele imithetho karhulumente.​—Roma 13:1.

Into Eyenziwa Licuba Emzimbeni Wakho

IWorld Health Organization (WHO) iqikelela ukuba nyaka ngamnye, abantu abamalunga ne-6 miliyoni babulawa zizifo ezenziwa licuba, kuquka nabantu abangaphezu kwe-600 000 abadla ngokuqhunyiselwa licuba. Jonga indlela icuba eliyichaphazela ngayo impilo yabantu abalisebenzisayo nabantu abaqhunyiselwa lilo.

Umhlaza. Icuba linezinto ezingaphezu kweziyi-50 ezenza isifo somhlaza. IEncyclopædia Britannica ithi “abantu abayi-90 kwabayi-100 baba nomhlaza wemiphunga ngenxa yokusebenzisa icuba.” Ukutshaya kunokwenza umhlaza nakwezinye iindawo emzimbeni, ezinjengomlomo, uqhoqhoqho, umqala, isibindi, umhlehlo, nakumthambo wokuchama.

Izifo ezinxulumene nokuphefumla. Ukutshaya kongeza amathuba okuba ube nezifo ezifana nengqele yangaphakathi emzimbeni nomkhuhlane. Abantwana abaqhelene nokuqhunyiselwa ngomsi wecuba baye babe nezifo ezinjengesifuba, ukhohlokhohlo, imiphunga engakhuliyo nengasebenziyo.

Isifo sentliziyo. Abantu abatshayayo basengozini yokuba nesitrowukhu okanye isifo sentliziyo. Xa ufunxa umsi wecuba, uye ungene nje lula phakathi kwemiphunga yakho nasegazini, uze uphefumle umoya omdaka. Xa sele uphefumla umoya omdaka, intliziyo iyanzinyelwa kukungenisa umoya ococekileyo emzimbeni.

Ingxaki kumntu omithiyo. Abantu abatshaya bemithi baba sengozini yokuzala ngaphambi kwexesha, mhlawumbi abo bantwana bengekabinamandla, bengakakhuli, okanye benomlomo okrazukileyo. Abo bantwana basenokuba nengxaki yokuphefumla, okanye basweleke besebancinci.
