Ngaba Sihlala Siphaphile​—⁠Siphepha Iziphazamiso?

1 UYesu walumkisa wathi: “Phaphani ngoko, . . . ukuze kuthiwe nikufanele ukuzisaba” iintlekele eziza kuhla. (Luka 21:36) Siphila kwelona xesha liyingozi kwimbali yabantu. Abo bazivumela bozele ngokomoya bajongene nentlekele. Oku kuyingozi kuthi sonke. UYesu wakhankanya ukudla, ukusela namaxhala obomi bemihla ngemihla. Kwakutheni? Kungenxa yokuba kwanezi zinto zinokusixakekisa, zibe ziziphazamiso, zize zibangele ukozela okuyingozi ngokomoya.

2 Iziphazamiso Eziqhelekileyo: Bambi baye bazixakekisa ngokuzonwabisa ngokugqithisileyo okanye okuthandabuzekayo, bade babe ngamakhoboka kamabonwakude. Kambe ke, ukufuna kuqala uBukumkani akuthethi kuthi simele siziphephe zonke iintlobo zokuzonwabisa. Ukuba sisebenzisa ingqiqo size sibe nobungcathu, ukuzonwabisa kunokuba yingenelo. (Thelekisa eyoku-1 kuTimoti 4:⁠8.) Kodwa kuba sisiphazamiso xa kuba yeyona nto inkulu ebomini bethu, kuphange elona xesha lethu lininzi, ubuncwane bethu, okanye ukuba nesabelo kwethu kumsebenzi wokushumayela ngoBukumkani.

3 Esinye isiphazamiso esiqhelekileyo esibangela ukozela ngokomoya ngumnqweno wokuba nezinto eziphathekayo ezingeyomfuneko. Oku kufuna ukuba umntu achithe ixesha elininzi kumsebenzi wempangelo kuze kubangele izinto zokomoya ziphoswe kwelokulibala. Bambi abasenalusukelo lezinto zokomoya ngenxa yokuzixakekisa ngokufuna ubutyebi bezinto eziphathekayo ukuze baphile ubomi obutofotofo. Ngoxa siyifuna into “edliwayo neyambathwayo,” simele sikulumkele ukuthanda imali, okunokusilahlekanisa nokholo. (1 Tim. 6:​8-10) Ngokusilela ukugcina amehlo ethu etsoliswe kwizilangazelelo zoBukumkani, sisenokungakukhathaleli ukunyamekela iimfuno zokomoya zentsapho yethu size singabuzalisi ubulungiseleli bethu.​—⁠1 Tim. 5:8; 2 Tim. 4:⁠5.

4 Ukanti abanye bavumela ‘iintliziyo zabo zisindwe ngamaxhala obu bomi’ bade balale ngokomoya. (Luka 21:34) Maxa wambi, amaxhala abangelwa ziingxaki zempilo okanye iimeko zentsapho ezidimazayo. Kodwa oku kuxhalaba asimele sikuvumele kusenze silibale ngesiphelo sale nkqubo esisondela ngokukhawuleza.​—⁠Marko 13:⁠33.

5 Ayikho enye into enokuvuyisa uMtyholi ngaphezu kokuphumelela ekusilaliseni yoyi, sisukelane nezinto ezingento zehlabathi. Simele sikulwele ukuhlala siphaphile ngokomoya. Siyazi ukuba ‘imini yeNkosi iza njengesela,’ yaye kubalulekile ukuba ‘siphaphe size sibe ziingcathu.’ (1 Tes. 5:​2, 6) Ukuba siphawula ukuba sineempawu zokozela ngokomoya, kungxamisekile ukuba ‘siyilahle imisebenzi yobumnyama.’​—⁠Roma 13:​11-13.

6 Izinto Zokusinceda Sihlale Siphaphile: Ziziphi ezo zinto? Umthandazo ngundoqo. Sifanele sithandaze singayeki. (1 Tes. 5:17) Ukuhlala sisondele kwibandla lamaKristu kuya ‘kusilola eluthandweni nasemisebenzini emihle.’ (Heb. 10:24) Ukuzihlolisisa rhoqo nangokunyanisekileyo kunokusinceda ukuze sihlale siyiphaphele imfuneko yokoyisa ubuthathaka. (2 Kor. 13:⁠5) Imikhwa emihle yofundisiso lobuqu iya kusigcina ‘sondlekile ngamazwi okholo.’ (1 Tim. 4:⁠6) Ukuba sikhuthele, sinokuqiniseka ukuba siya kukwazi ukuziphepha iziphazamiso, ‘siphaphe, sime elukholweni.’​—⁠1 Kor. 16:⁠13.
