Kungani Kunezimpi?
Izazi zengqondo nezenhlalo yabantu ziveza imiqondo eyizinhlobonhlobo ukuze zichaze lenkinga. Kuyiqiniso, imibono yazo inemisuka yemiqondo yokuziphendukela kwemvelo kanye nomcabango wokuthi umuntu umane nje uyisilwane esiphakeme. Ngakho-ke, abanye bathi “ukudala ingxabano kudingeka impela ukuze kusinde isintu.” Ngakho umphumela womqondo wokuziphendukela kwemvelo, ukufaneleka kwempi.

Imbangela Enkulu Enganakwa

Ngokwesibonelo: “Siyazi ukuthi singabakaNkulunkulu nokuthi izwe lonke limi emandleni omubi.” (1 Johane 5:19, NW) Ubani lowo “omubi”? UJesu ngokwakhe wamusho lowo lapho ephendula abaFarisi ababefuna ukumbulala: “Nina ningabakayihlo uSathane, nithanda ukwenza izinkanuko zikayihlo. Yena wayengumbulali wabantu kwasekuqaleni, akemi eqinisweni, ngokuba iqiniso lingekho kuye. Nxa ekhuluma amanga, ukhuluma okungokwakhe, lokhu engumqambimanga noyise wawo.”—Johane 8:44.
Yebo, ithonya elengamele izimpi zesintu umbusi owumoya omubi, uSathane uDeveli. Yena nabalandeli bakhe abangamademoni, nesimo sabo sokuthanda ukuzwiswa ubuhlungu, bagcina isintu sikhuthalele izimpi futhi silungiselela impi. Lapho kuyiqiniso ukuthi izigidi ziyaphakama futhi zimelane nezikhali zempi yenyukliya futhi zifune ukuqedwa kwenyukliya, azibonisi kuthobeka ekhambini okuwukuphela kwalo elingeleqiniso—ukubusa koMbuso kaNkulunkulu ngoKristu. Ngakho uSathane uyaphumelela ‘ukudukisa izwe lonke.’ (IsAmbulo 12:9) Wenza abantu balandelele ukuthula abangenakukuthola—bafune ukuthula kuyilapho bebambelele kuzo kanye izici eziholela empini—izithakazelo zobuzwe zokungacabangeli.
Kuyomiswa Kanjani Ukuthula?
URobert Leckie ocashunwe ngaphambili uthi: “Izazi zesayensi zemithetho yezenhlalo zithi impi yinqubo engasamukeleki . . . nokuthi iqungo lochuku elibangela impi lingaqondiswa ngemfundo, umthetho kanye nezimiso zokuziphatha.” (Omalukeke abethu.) Ngokungaqondiwe, lombono wezazi zesayensi uvumelana nekhambi leBhayibheli empini, elisekelwe “emfundweni, emthethweni nasezimisweni zokuziphatha.” Umprofethi uIsaya wakhomba kulowomzila wokufinyelela ukuthula eminyakeni eyizi-2 700 edlule, ethi: “Abantu abaningi bayakuhamba, bathi: Wozani sikhuphukele entabeni kaJehova endlini kaNkulunkulu kaJakobe; uyakusifundisa izindlela zakhe, sihambe emikhondweni yakhe, ngokuba umthetho uyakuvela eSiyoni, nezwi likaJehova eJerusalema. Uyakwahlulela phakathi kwezizwe, anqume phakathi kwabantu abaningi; bayakukhanda izinkemba zabo zibe-ngamakhuba, nemikhonto yabo ibe-ngocelemba; isizwe asiyikuphakamisela isizwe inkemba, zingabe zisafunda ukulwa.”—Isaya 2:3, 4.
Sibonisani leso siprofetho? Ukuthi abantu bezizwe eziningi kuyodingeka baqaphele umthetho, ubukhosi nokubusa kukaJehova. Kuyodingeka ukuba bamukele imfundo entsha ngokuthula. Ngokuzithoba kuyodingeka bathi: “Uyakusifundisa izindlela zakhe, sihambe emikhondweni yakhe.” Yebo, bayofunda izindlela, noma “izimiso zokuziphatha,” zokuthula kweqiniso kobuKristu futhi bahambe ezindleleni zikaJehova njengoba kubekwe ngokucacile isibonelo esiphelele seNdodana yakhe, uKristu Jesu. Iqiniso liwukuthi oFakazi BakaJehova, njengenhlangano esezweni lonke, bebelokhu begcwalisa lesiprofetho emashumini amaningi eminyaka—naphezu kwezimpi zezwe nazo zonke ezinye eziye zakhathaza isintu.
Nokho, sifanele sibhekane neqiniso lokuthi ukuthula okuhlala njalo ngaso sonke isintu akunakuza ngemizamo yomuntu kuphela. Kudingeka okuthile okukhulu ngokwengeziwe—hhayi nje uhulumeni wezwe lonke, njengoba abaningi baye basho—kodwa uhulumeni ongaphezu kukahulumeni wesizwe, ngaphezu kwazo zonke ezombangazwe ezingabalulekile nobuzwe. Uhulumeni kaNkulunkulu wasezulwini ngoKristu unjalo kanye. Uwukuphela kwendlela yokuthula enokwethenjwa.—Mathewu 6:9, 10.
Lokhu kuthula kuyomiswa kanjani? Njengoba izizwe zingenakuyeka imibuso yazo ngokuzithandela, ngokushesha zizophoqeleleka ukuba zenze kanjalo. Njengoba umprofethi uDaniyeli abikezela: “Ezinsukwini zalawomakhosi uNkulunkulu wasezulwini uyakumisa umbuso ongasoze wachithwa nobukhosi bawo bungayikushiyelwa kwabanye abantu, kepha uyakuchoboza, uqede yonke lemibuso, wona uqobo ume phakade.” (Daniyeli 2:44) Ngokungaphezulu, njengoba kushiwo kusAmbulo 20:1-3, umqhathi omkhulu wempi, uSathane uDeveli, ‘uyophonswa kwalasha,’ ayekiswe ukusebenza “iminyaka eyinkulungwane . . . ukuze angabe esadukisa izizwe.”
Ukuphela kwemibuso yomuntu yezombangazwe enobugovu, noma ohulumeni, kuyovulela ukugcwaliseka okuphelele kwamazwi anikeza ithemba amaHubo 46:8-10, athi: “Wozani nibone izenzo zikaJehova, izincithakalo azenzileyo emhlabeni. Uphelisa ukulwa kuze kube-semikhawulweni yomhlaba; uyaphula umnsalo, anqume umkhonto, izinqola zempi azishise ngomlilo. Thulani, niqonde ukuthi mina nginguNkulunkulu; ngiyakuphakama phakathi kwabezizwe, ngiphakame emhlabeni.” Yebo, ubukhosi bukaJehova buyophakanyiswa kuwo wonke umhlaba. Ingabe uyafisa ukubona ukuphela kwazo zonke izimpi? Ngakho qinisekiswa ukuthi simi onqenqemeni lwesikhathi esikhazimulayo leso uDavide akhuluma ngaso kumaHubo 37:10, 11: “Kusengumzuzwana, omubi angabe esabakho; . . . kepha abathobekileyo bazakudla ifa lomhlaba, bathokoze ngokuthula okukhulu.”
