Imibuzo Evela Kubafundi

AmaKristu kufanele akhathazeke kangakanani ngokuthi izakhi zegazi, njenge“plasma” eyomisiwe, kungenzeka ziye zanezelwa emikhiqizweni yokudla?

Uma kunesisekelo esiqinile sokukholelwa ukuthi igazi lezilwane (noma isakhi salo) liyasetshenziswa ngokuqinisekile emikhiqizweni yokudla endaweni ahlala kuyo, amaKristu kufanele aqaphe ngendlela efanelekile. Nokho, kuyoba okungahlakaniphile ukuphazanyiswa ukusola nje noma ukuphila ngokukhathazeka okungenasisekelo.

Ekuqaleni komlando womuntu, uMdali wethu wanquma ukuthi abantu akufanele badle igazi. (Genesise 9:3, 4) Wabonisa ukuthi igazi limelela ukuphila, okuyisipho esivela kuye. Igazi elikhishwe esidalweni esithile lalingasetshenziswa kuphela ekwenzeni umhlatshelo, njengowasealtare. Ngaphandle kwalokho, igazi elivela esidalweni kwakumelwe lithululelwe emhlabathini, ngomqondo wokulibuyisela kuNkulunkulu. Abantu bakhe kwakufanele bakugweme ukusindisa ukuphila ngokudla igazi. Wayala: “Maningadli igazi lenyama noma iyiphi, ngokuba umphefumulo wenyama yonke uyigazi layo; yilowo nalowo oyidlayo uyakunqunywa.” (Levitikusi 17:11-14) Ukwenqabela kukaNkulunkulu ukudla igazi kwaphindwa kumaKristu. (IzEnzo 15:28, 29) Ngakho-ke amaKristu akuqala kwakudingeka akugweme ukudla okunegazi, njengenyama evela ezilwaneni eziqumbeleneyo noma amasoseji enziwe ngegazi.

Nokho, ngendlela engokoqobo, yini lawomaKristu ayeyoyenza ekuzimiseleni kwawo ‘ukuzilonda egazini’? (IzEnzo 21:25) Ingabe kwakufanele amane asebenzise amazwi omphostoli uPawulu: “Konke okuthengiswa esilaheni kudleni, ningahloli lutho ngenxa kanembeza”?

Cha. Lawomazwi akweyoku-1 Korinte 10:25 abhekisela enyameni okungenzeka yayivela esilwaneni esasenziwe umhlatshelo ethempelini lezithombe. Ngalesosikhathi, inyama esale emathempelini yayidayiselwa abathengisi, ababengase bayihlanganise nenyama abayidayisayo ezitolo zabo. Iphuzu likaPawulu laliwukuthi inyama evela ethempelini yayingeyimbi ngaphakathi noma yayingangcolile. Ngokusobala kwakuwumkhuba ukukhipha nokusebenzisa igazi lezilwane ezazinikelwa lapho ema-altare obuqaba. Ngakho-ke uma enye yenyama esele yayidayiswa emakethe, ingenakuxhumana okusobala nethempeli noma ukuqonda okungeyikho kwamaqaba, amaKristu ayengazithengela yona njengenyama edayiswayo eyayihlanzekile futhi ekhishwe kahle igazi.

Nokho, kwakuyodingeka kwehluke uma lawomaKristu azi ukuthi inyama yezilwane eziqumbelene (noma amasoseji enziwe ngegazi) yayingezinye zezinto ezidayiswayo ezitolo zendawo. Kwakuyodingeka aqaphelisise ekukhetheni inyama ayithengayo. Ayengase akwazi ukubona imikhiqizo yenyama eyayinegazi uma imikhiqizo enjalo yayinombala ohlukile (njengoba nje nanamuhla isoseji elenziwe ngegazi ngokuvamile lingabonakala kalula emazweni lapho livamile khona). Noma amaKristu ayengabuza ngesilaha noma umdayisi wenyama onedumela elihle. Uma babengenaso isizathu sokukholelwa ukuthi inyama ethile yayinegazi, babengamane bayithenge futhi bayidle.

UPawulu wabhala futhi: “Ukuba kwenu nengqondo makwaziwe yibo bonke.” (Filipi 4:5, NW) Lokho kwakungasebenza endabeni yokuthenga inyama. UMthetho kaIsrayeli noma isinqumo sendikimba ebusayo yamaKristu ekhulu lokuqala leminyaka awuzange ubonise ukuthi abantu bakaNkulunkulu kwakufanele bazikhathaze ngokubuza ngenyama, baze ngisho bangayidli uma kwakunokungabaza okuncane ngokubakhona kwegazi enyameni.

Umzingeli ongumIsrayeli owayebulale isilwane wayelikhipha igazi laso. (Qhathanisa noDuteronomi 12:15, 16.) Uma umkhaya wakhe wawungenakuyidla yonke inyama, wayengase ayidayise enye. Ngisho nasesidunjini sesilwane esikhishwe kahle igazi, isilinganiso esincane segazi sasiyosala enyameni, kodwa akukho lutho eBhayibhelini olusikisela ukuthi umJuda othenga inyama kwakudingeka azikhathaze ngokuthola amaqiniso anjengesibalo semizuzu phakathi kokubulawa nokukhishwa kwegazi, ukuthi yimuphi umthambo owasikwa noma umthanjana ukuze kuphume igazi, nanokuthi isilwane sasilengiswe kanjani phezulu futhi salengiswa isikhathi eside kangakanani. Ngaphezu kwalokho, indikimba ebusayo ayizange ibhale ukuthi amaKristu kwakufanele aqaphele ngaphezu kokuvamile ngokuphathelene nalokhu, njengokungathi ayedinga izimpendulo ezinayo yonke imininingwane ngaphambi kokudla noma iyiphi inyama.

Emazweni amaningi namuhla, umthetho, isiko, noma umkhuba ongokwenkolo uwukuthi imikhiqizo yenyama (ngaphandle kwezinto ezingajwayelekile, njengamasoseji enziwe ngegazi) ivela ezilwaneni okumelwe zikhishwe igazi lapho zihlinzwa. Ngakho-ke, ngokuvamile amaKristu akulezozindawo awadingi ukukhathazeka ngokweqile ngezindlela zokuhlinza nezokulungisa. Ngomqondo ovulekile, angase ‘azidlele inyama edayiswayo angahloli-lutho,’ futhi angaba nonembeza ohlanzekile wokuthi ayaliyeka igazi.

Nokho, ngezinye izikhathi kuye kwaba khona imibiko yezochwepheshe ngokusetshenziswa kwabezentengiselwano igazi okuye kwawaphazamisa amaKristu athile. Abanye abantu basezimbonini ezilungisa inyama bacabanga ukuthi igazi eliningi elivela ezilwaneni ezihlinziwe lingaqoqwa ukuze lisetshenziswe ngokoqobo futhi kutholakale inzuzo, njengasekwenzeni umquba noma ukudla kwezilwane. Abacwaningi baye bahlola ukuthi igazi elinjalo (noma izakhi) lingase lisetshenziswe yini enyameni elungisiwe. Izimboni ezimbalwa zezentengiselwano ziye zakhiqiza ngisho nezilinganiso ezimbalwa zeplasma ewuketshezi, eyiqhwa, noma eyimpuphu (noma izinto zamangqamuzana abomvu ezikhishwe umbala) ezingase zifakwe ngamaphesenti amancane esikhundleni senyama emikhiqizweni enjengamasoseji noma inhlama yenyama. Okunye ukuhlola kuye kwagxila ekusebenziseni izinto eziyimpuphu ezenziwe ngegazi njengento yokugcwalisa noma yokuhlanganisa amanzi namafutha enyameni, emikhiqizweni yokubhaka, noma kokunye ukudla neziphuzo ukuze kwenezelwe iprotein noma okusansimbi.

Nokho, kuhle ukuphawula ukuthi ukuhlola okunjalo bekuqhubeka iminyaka engamashumi amaningi. Nokho, kubonakala sengathi emazweni amaningi kakhulu ukusetshenziswa kwemikhiqizo enjalo kuye kwaba okulinganiselwe kakhulu, noma kwangenziwa nhlobo. Eminye imibiko evamile iyasiza ukuba ibonise ukuthi kungani:

“Igazi liwumthombo wamaprotein anomsoco nanomsebenzi. Nokho, igazi lenyama yenkomo liye lasetshenziswa kuphela ngezilinganiso ezilinganiselwe ukuba lidliwe abantu ngokuqondile ngenxa yombala onamandla nokunambitheka okuhlukile.”—Journal of Food Science, Umqulu 55, iNombolo 2, 1990.

“Amaprotein eplasma yegazi anezici eziwusizo njengokuncibilika ngezinga eliphakeme, umsebenzi wokuncibilikisa amafutha nokungahlangani kwawo namanzi . . . nokusetshenziswa kwawo ekulungiseni ukudla kunikeza izinzuzo ezinkulu. Amanye amaKristu ngezinye izikhathi aye ahlola amalebuli ekudleni okusemaphaketheni, njengoba ohulumeni abaningi bafuna ukuba izithako zibhalwe. Futhi angase akhethe ukukwenza njalo lokho nganoma yimuphi umkhiqizo anesizathu sokukholelwa ukuthi ungase ube negazi. Akukhona ukuthi umKristu ngamunye emhlabeni wonke kumelwe ahlole amalebuli nezithako kuwo wonke amaphakethe okudla noma kufanele aphenye ngemibuzo izisebenzi zasezindaweni zokudlela noma ezitolo zokudla. UmKristu angase aqale azibuze yena ngokwakhe, ‘Ingabe bukhona ubufakazi obuqinile bokuthi igazi nemikhiqizo yalo kuyasetshenziswa emikhiqizweni yokudla evamile kulendawo noma kulelizwe?’ Ezindaweni eziningi kakhulu impendulo ingucha. Ngakho-ke, amaKristu amaningi aye aphetha ngokuthi wona ngokwawo awanakuchitha isikhathi esiningi nokunakekela ekuhloleni amathuba okuba nokwenzeka kwalokhu. Umuntu ongazizwa ngalendlela kufanele enze ngokuvumelana nonembeza wakhe, ngaphandle kokwahlulela abanye abangase baxazulule lendaba ngenye indlela kodwa benonembeza omuhle phambi kukaNkulunkulu.—Roma 14:2-4, 12.

Ngisho noma kungakhiqizwa imikhiqizo enegazi, kungenzeka ukuthi lokhu akwenziwa yonke indawo ngenxa yokubiza, umthetho, noma ezinye izici. Ngokwesibonelo, iFood Processing (September 1991) yaphawula: “Ngalabo abalungisa inyama abanezinkinga ngeplasma yenyama yenkomo ephekwe kakhulu engaphansi kuka-1% (enyameni esilungisiwe) enhlanganiseleni, enye inhlanganisela iyithathela indawo ngomhluzi onesilinganiso seprotein futhi ingabizwa ngokuthi iKosher.”

Kudingeka kugcizelelwe ukuthi umthetho, isiko, noma ukukhetha emazweni amaningi kuwukuthi ngokuvamile igazi liyakhishwa ezilwaneni ezihlinziwe nokuthi igazi elinjalo alisetshenziswa kweminye imikhiqizo yokudla. Uma singekho isisekelo esiqinile sokucabanga ukuthi isimo sihlukile endaweni yakini noma ukuthi muva kuye kwenzeka ushintsho olukhulu, amaKristu kufanele aqaphe ukuba angaphazanyiswa okungase kwenzeke noma inzwabethi. Nokho, lapho kunesiqinisekiso noma kungenzeka kakhulu ukuthi igazi lisetshenziswa kabanzi—kungakhathaliseki ukuthi kusekudleni noma kwezokwelapha—kufanele sizimisele ukuba silalele umyalo kaNkulunkulu wokuyeka igazi.
