Ngaba Ubutyebi Bunokukuzisela Ulonwabo?
UKumkani uSolomon wayeyazi indlela imali exabiseke ngayo. Wabhala: “Benza isidlo ukuba bahleke, iwayini ivuyise ubomi; imali ilungele iinto zonke.” (INtshumayeli 10:19) Ukufumana isidlo sangokuhlwa kunye nabahlobo kusenokuba mnandi kakhulu, kodwa ukuze ufumane isonka okanye iwayini, ufuna imali. Ekubeni kufuneka imali ukuze kufunyanwe izinto eziphathekayo, “ilungele iinto zonke.”
NANGONA uSolomon wayesisityebi ngendlela engathethekiyo, wayesazi ukuba ubutyebi bunemida. Wayeqonda ukuba ubomi bokuthanda izinto eziphathekayo abukhokeleli kulonwabo. Wabhala: “Othanda isilivere akaneliswa yisilivere; nalowo uthanda intabalala, akangenelwa nto.”—INtshumayeli 5:10.
Makhe sithi umntu osisityebi ufumana ubutyebi obungakumbi. USolomon uthi: “Ekwandeni kwezinto ezilungileyo bayanda abazidlayo zona.” (INtshumayeli 5:11) Njengokuba ‘izinto ezilungileyo’ zomntu zisanda, kufuneka abantu abangakumbi bokuzinyamekela. Abalungisi bezinto, abagcini bendlu, izicaka, abagcini masango, kwanabanye—bonke kufuneka behlawulwe ngemisebenzi yabo. Ngenxa yoko, oku kufuna imali engakumbi.
Izinto ezinjalo ziyaluchaphazela ulonwabo lomntu. Umbhali-mbali ongumGrike uXenophon, owayephila kwinkulungwane yesine ngaphambi kweXesha lethu Eliqhelekileyo, wabhala oko kwathethwa yindoda eyayilihlwempu yaza yaba sisityebi:
“Ewe, ngaba ngokwenene . . . ucinga ukuba okukhona ndinokungakumbi, kokukhona ndiphila ngolonwabo? Akwazi nto wena,” le ndoda yaqhubeka isithi, “ukuba oku akundiniki lonwabo olungakumbi lokutya nokusela nokulala ngoku kunokuba kwakunjalo ngoxa ndandilihlwempu. Eyona ngenelo ndiyifumanayo yokuba nokuninzi kukuba ndinyanzelekile ukuba ndinyamekele okungakumbi, ndinike abanye abangakumbi, yaye ndinengxaki yokuba ndinyamekele okungakumbi kunakuqala. Kuba ngoku izicaka ezininzi zixhomekeke kum ukuze zifumane ukutya, ezininzi zijonge into yokusela, yaye ezinye ezininzi zijonge impahla, ngoxa ezinye ndizisa koogqirha; yaye esinye siza kum nengxaki yokuba izimvu zihlaselwe ziingcuka, okanye iinkomo zife xa beziwela emwonyweni, okanye iinkomo zihlaselwa sisifo esithile. Yaye oku kukhangeleka . . . ngokungathi ndineengxaki ezingakumbi ngoku ngenxa yokuba ndinokuninzi kunangaphambili kunokuba kwakunjalo xa ndandinokuncinane.”
Esinye isizathu sokuba abantu basukele ubutyebi obungakumbi kukuba bakhohliswa koko uYesu Kristu akubiza ngokuthi ‘ngamandla akhohlisayo obutyebi.’ (Mateyu 13:22) Bayakhohliswa kuba kobu butyebi babufuna ngamandla, abaze bafumane ulwaneliseko okanye ulonwabo abalindele ukulufumana. Baqiqa ngelithi oko ubutyebi obuncinane bungakwazanga ukukwenza, ubutyebi obungakumbi buya kukwenza. Ngoko basoloko besukela okungakumbi.
Ukuthanda Imali Akukhokeleli Kulonwabo
Ukuba nexhala ngezinto anazo kusenokubangela umntu osisityebi angalali buthongo buhlayo. USolomon ubhala esithi: “Bumnandi ubuthongo bosebenzayo, nokuba incinane, nokuba ininzi into ayidlayo; ke intabalala yesityebi ayisivumeli ukuba silale buthongo.”—INtshumayeli 5:12.
Xa ubani enexhala ngokugqithiseleyo lokuba kusenokwenzeka alahlekelwe bubutyebi bakhe, kubandakanyeka okungakumbi kunokungalali nje. Ecacisa igogotya, uSolomon uthi: “Kananjalo iimini zakhe zonke uzidlela emnyameni, enengqumbo enkulu, nesifo, noburhalarhume.” (INtshumayeli 5:17) Kunokuba afumane ulonwabo kubutyebi bakhe, udla “enengqumbo,” ngokungathi unomona kwanangemali aye wayichithela ekutyeni. Imbono engafanelekanga ngolo hlobo isenokubangela impilo enkenenkene. Ngenxa yoko, isimo sengqondo esibi ngolo hlobo sisenokubangela ubani abe nempilo enkenenkene. Ukongezelela koko, impilo enkenenkene yongezelela inkxalabo kulowo uligogotya, ekubeni kumthintela ekubeni aqwebe ubutyebi obungakumbi.
Mhlawumbi oku kukukhumbuza oko umpostile uPawulos wakubhalayo esithi: “Abo bazimisele ukuba zizityebi bawela ekuhendweni nakumgibe nakwiminqweno emininzi yokungabi nangqiqo neyenzakalisayo, ephosela abantu entshabalalweni nasekonakaleni. Kuba ukuthanda imali yingcambu yazo zonke iintlobo zezinto ezimbi, yaye ngokuzabalazela olu thando bambi . . . baye bazixhokroza kuyo yonke indawo ngeentlungu ezininzi.” (1 Timoti 6:9, 10) Ekusukeleni imali, abantu bayaqhatha, bayaxoka, bayeba, bathengisa ngemizimba yabo, bade babulale nokubulala. Umphumo uba kukuzilimaza ngokweemvakalelo, emzimbeni, nangokomoya ngenxa yokuzama ukuxhakamfula nokufumana ubutyebi. Ngaba oku kuvakala kuyindlela ekhokelela kulonwabo? Nakanye!
Ukwaneliseka Koko Sinako
USolomon wayenokungakumbi awayenokukuthetha ngokuba nembono elungeleleneyo ngobutyebi. Wabhala: “Njengokuba waphuma esizalweni sonina eze, uya kubuya emke njengoko weza enjalo, angathabathi nento ngemigudu yakhe, angayiphathayo ngesandla sakhe. Nantsi into endiyibonileyo mna, ilungile, intle: into yokuthi umntu adle, asele, abone okulungileyo ngemigudu yakhe yonke aphuka yiyo phantsi kwelanga, ngokwenani lemihla yobomi bakhe amnikileyo uThixo; ngokuba kusisabelo sakhe oko.”—INtshumayeli 5:15, 18.
La mazwi abonisa ukuba ulonwabo aluxhomekekanga ekuzameni ukuzifumbela ubutyebi bexesha ekunokwenzeka singalifumani. Bekuya kuba yinto elungileyo ukwaneliseka size sivuye ngemiphumo yokusebenza kwethu nzima. Umpostile uPawulos wavakalisa ingcamango efanayo kwincwadi yakhe ephefumlelweyo eya kuTimoti, esithi: “Asingenisanga nto ehlabathini, kwaye asinakuba nako ukuthwalela ngaphandle nantoni na. Ngoko, sinesixhaso nesambatho, siya kwaneliswa zezi zinto.”—1 Timoti 6:7, 8; thelekisa uLuka 12:16-21.
Isikhokelo Esisa Kulonwabo
USolomon wayenobutyebi obuninzi kwanobulumko obuninzi bobuthixo. Kodwa wadibanisa ulonwabo nobulumko, kungekhona imali. Wathi: “Hayi, uyolo lomntu ofumene ubulumko, lomntu ozuze ingqondo! Kuba lulungile urhwebo lwabo ngaphezu korhwebo lwesilivere, nongeniselo lwabo ngaphezu kwegolide embiweyo. Bunqabile bona ngaphezu kwekorale, nezinto zakho zonke ezinqwenelekayo azilingani nabo. Imihla emide isesandleni sabo sokunene, kwesokhohlo sabo bubutyebi nozuko. Iindlela zabo ziindlela ezimnandi, wonke umendo wabo uluxolo. Bungumthi wobomi kwababambelela kubo, unoyolo obubambayo.”—IMizekeliso 3:13-18.
Kutheni ubulumko bungaphezulu kunezinto eziphathekayo? USolomon wabhala esithi: “Ngokuba ubulumko bungumthunzi, imali ingumthunzi; ke ukugqithisela kokwazi kukuba ubulumko buyabasindisa abo banabo.” (INtshumayeli 7:12) Nangona imali inokuba ngumthunzi ngokomlinganiselo othile, ibangele ukuba lowo unayo akwazi ukuthenga oko akufunayo, ubulumko busenokumlondoloza umntu ekwenzeni izinto ezinokufaka ubomi bakhe engozini. Ubulumko bokwenyaniso abusayi kumkhusela ubani ekufeni ngaphambi kwexesha nje kuphela kodwa, ekubeni busekelwe kuloyiko olufanelekileyo ngoThixo, buya kukhokelela ekufumaneni ubomi obungunaphakade.
Kutheni ubulumko bobuthixo bukhokelela kulonwabo? Kuba ulonwabo lokwenene luvela kuYehova uThixo kuphela. Amava abonisa ukuba ulonwabo lokwenene lunokufunyanwa kuphela ngokuthobela Osenyangweni. Ulonwabo oluhlala luhleli luxhomekeke ekumeni okuhle noThixo. (Mateyu 5:3-10) Ngokusebenzisa oko sikufundayo kufundisiso lweBhayibhile, siya kuhlakulela “ubulumko obuvela phezulu.” (Yakobi 3:17) Buya kusinika ulonwabo ubutyebi obungasoze buluzise.
