Ukwenza Indawo Osebenza Kuyo Iphephe

NAKUBA kunemithetho enakekela impilo nokuphepha emsebenzini, ukulimala nokufa emsebenzini kuseyinkinga enkulu. Kusobala-ke ukuthi ukuphepha emsebenzini akunakuba nje indaba yomthetho kuphela. Abaqashi nezisebenzi kumelwe basingathe isibopho sokuphepha kwabo nokwabanye.

Ngakho-ke, bonke emsebenzini kufanele ngokuhlakanipha bahlole indawo yabo yomsebenzi nemikhuba yabo yokusebenza. Ngokwesibonelo, ingabe uqaphele yini ukuthi indawo osebenza kuyo iphephile ngempela? Ingabe usebenza ngezinto ezinobuthi? Uma kunjalo, ingabe uvikeleke ngokwanele? Ingabe uhlala ucindezelekile? Ingabe wamukela izikhathi zomsebenzi ezeqa imingcele noma amahora abekwe ngokomthetho?

Izimpendulo zemibuzo enjengale zingase zembule lukhulu ngokuthi uphephe kangakanani emsebenzini.

Ukuqaphela Izingozi

Ukuzama ukuhambisana nesimiso sokusebenza eseqisayo kungaba yingozi. Ngakho singasho sithi umthetho wokuqala wokusebenza kahle ukuba uhlanzeke futhi uhleleke.

Noma kunjalo, abaningi bayalingeka ukuba bangazishayi mkhuba izinqubo zokuphepha. Umagazini i-Monthly Labor Review waphawula: “Izingcindezi emsebenzini zingase zibangele umbono wokuthi ukunqamulela ekwenzeni izinto kudingekile ukuze kuhlangatshezwane nemigomo.” Becabanga ngomthetho wokuphepha, abanye bangase bazitshele ukuthi, ‘Angikaze ngibe nankinga uma ngingawushayi mkhuba.’ Ekhuluma ngale nkinga, omunye umphathi wefektri ongumakad’ ebona wathi: “Enye yezinto ezimbi kakhulu ongazenza emsebenzini ukuziba izinqubo zokuphepha kodwa ungangeni enkingeni!” Ngani? Ngoba lokhu kukhuthaza ukuzethemba ngokweqile nokunganaki, okubangela izingozi ezengeziwe.

Ukuqhuma kwesikhungo saseChernobyl e-Ukraine ngo-1986 kuvame ukuchazwa ngokuthi “ingozi yenuzi embi kunazo zonke emhlabeni.” Yayikuphi inkinga? Umbiko wale nhlekelele ulandisa “ngohlu lwezinqubo zokusebenza ngokunganaki” kanye “nokweqa izixwayiso zokuphepha ngokuphindaphindiwe.”

Abaqashi nezisebenzi bangabambisana ekuqapheleni izinto ezingase zibe yingozi. Isaga seBhayibheli esihlakaniphile sithi: “Oqondileyo uyabona ububi, acashe.” (IzAga 22:3) Yebo, umuntu ohlakaniphile uyasiqaphela isimo esingase sibe yingozi afune izindlela zokuzivikela yena nabanye.

Lapho abaqashi benza lokhu, bayazuza, kuzuze nezisebenzi zabo. Ngokwesibonelo, inkampani eyashintsha ihhovisi layo ukuze igweme “ukugula kwabantu emsebenzini” yathola ukuthi ngokushesha, umkhiqizo wenkampani wathuthuka nokwaneliseka kwezisebenzi kwaba ngcono. Kwatholakala nokuthi bambalwa abantu ababephutha emsebenzini ngenxa yokugula. Ukucabangela impilo yabanye ngaleyo ndlela akuthuthukisi nje kuphela isimo esijabulisayo phakathi komqashi nezisebenzi, kodwa njengoba kubonakala kulesi simo, kungaletha nezinzuzo zezomnotho.

Njengoba kuphawulwe esihlokweni esandulele, ubudlova sebugcwele emsebenzini. Yini ongayenza ukuze uzivikele?

Izinyathelo Ongazithatha

Kuye kwatholakala ukuthi ngisho nezenzakalo ezincane zolaka emsebenzini ziye zaphenduka izimo ezimbi zokuhlukunyezwa. I-Harvard Business Review inikeza lesi sixwayiso esisangulukisayo: “Ukuze ninqande ubudlova emsebenzini, qaphelani ukuthi abantu abenza izenzo ezincane zolaka ngokuvamile baqhubekela ekwenzeni ezinkulu.”

Kungenzeka ukuthi owesifazane akahlosile ukuzidonsela ukunaka kwezinye izisebenzi, kodwa uma indlela agqoka ngayo, akhuluma ngayo naziphatha ngayo ingenasizotha, abanye bangase babe nombono wokuthi akanasimilo. Muva nje, ukuziphatha obekungahloselwe ukudonsa ukunaka okungafanele ngezinye izikhathi kuye kwaphumela ezinkingeni ezinkulu, kuhlanganise ukucathanyelwa, ukudlwengulwa, ngisho nokubulawa. Ngakho qaphela indlela ukugqoka nokuziphatha kwakho okubathinta ngayo abanye. Lalela iseluleko seBhayibheli: ‘Zihlobiseni ngezingubo ezilungiswe kahle, ngesizotha nangokuhluzeka kwengqondo.’—1 Thimothewu 2:9.

I-Monthly Labor Review yaphawula esinye isimo esingase sibe yingozi, ithi: “Kunokukhathazeka ngezisebenzi ezisebenza zodwa ebusuku ezindaweni eziqhelile.” Ngakho zibuze: Ingabe kuwukuhlakanipha ukuzichaya engozini ebangelwa ukusebenza uwedwa, ikakhulukazi ebusuku? Ingabe ngempela ngingaze ngizifake engozini enjalo ngenxa yemali?

Kubalulekile nokucabangela indlela esisabela ngayo ekuziphatheni okucasulayo nokunobutha kwezinye izisebenzi ezicindezelekile. Yini engenziwa ukuze kunqandwe isimo esingaba yingozi? Isaga seBhayibheli siyeluleka: “Impendulo ethambileyo iyabuyisa ukufutheka, kepha izwi elilukhuni livusa ulaka.” (IzAga 15:1) Yebo, ngokuba nomusa nenhlonipho endleleni owenza ngayo izinto, ungenza lukhulu ekudambiseni isimo esishubile ugweme nengxabano.

Esimweni sanamuhla esishubile emsebenzini, kuyinsakavukela ukuziphatha okucasulayo nokunobutha. Nakuba kungase kubonakale kuqondiswe kithi, kungenzeka lowo muntu umane nje ukhipha isibhongo. Kungenzeka kumane kuwukuthi nje sisendaweni engafanele ngesikhathi esingesihle. Ngakho ibalulekile indlela esisabela ngayo. Ingadambisa isimo noma isenze sibhebhetheke.

Kodwa-ke, ake sithi kunokungqubuzana kwangempela kwemibono. Incwadi ethi Resolving Conflicts at Work iphawula ngale ndlela ewusizo: “Uma sixabana, . . . asivamile ukukuveza ngokucacile lokho esikuzwa ekujuleni ngempela.” Siyini isizathu? Le ncwadi iyaqhubeka ithi: “Izingxabano zethu zinamandla okusidida nokusiphamba, sigcine sikholelwa ukuthi ayikho enye indlela ngaphandle kokulwa.”

Liyini ikhambi? LALELA! Incwadi ecashunwe ngenhla iyaphawula: “Ngokubalalelisisa abantu esingavumelani nabo . . . , singakuyeka ukukhandleka ngokomzwelo sibhebhethekisa impi futhi sithole amakhambi.” Lesi yiseluleko esihle sokunqanda ukungavumelani noma ukungaqondani kungabi yizingxabano ezinkulu.

Ngakho-ke, ngokuhlakanipha sebenzisa ukuhluzeka kwengqondo endabeni yokuphepha. Lokhu kuyohlanganisa nokulandela imithetho yokuphepha yendawo ngokuzimisela. Ukwenza lokhu kungasiza kakhulu ekwenzeni indawo yomsebenzi iphephe.

Kuyiqiniso futhi ukuthi isimo sethu sengqondo ngokuphila, umsebenzi nokuzilibazisa singaba nethonya ekutheni sikhetha umsebenzi onjani nokuthi sikubheka kanjani ukuphepha. Isihloko esilandelayo singasisiza ukuba sikhethe ngokuhlakanipha kule ndaba.
