Ukuphulukiswa Kwabanochoko Abayishumi Phakathi Nohambo LukaJesu Lokugcina Lokuya EJerusalema
UJESU ubhuntshisa imizamo yeSanhedrin yokumbulala ngokusuka eJerusalema aye emzini wakwaEfrayimi, mhlawumbe oqhele ngamakhilomitha angaba ngu-24 enyakatho-mpumalanga yeJerusalema. Uhlala lapho nabafundi bakhe, kude nezitha zakhe.
Nokho, isikhathi sePhasika lika-33 C.E. siyasondela, futhi ngokushesha uJesu uyahamba futhi. Udabula phakathi kweSamariya akhuphukele eGalile. Lokhu ukuhambela kwakhe kokugcina kulendawo ngaphambi kokufa kwakhe. Lapho eseGalile, cishe yena nabafundi bakhe bahambisana nabanye abalibangise eJerusalema emkhosini wePhasika. Ukuze kuvikelwe abanye ukuba singabangeni, uMthetho kaNkulunkulu mayelana nochoko uthi: “Amboze amadevu akhe, akhale athi: Ngingcolile, ngingcolile. Zonke izinsuku isifo sisekuye uyakuba-ngongcolile; . . . uyakuhlala yedwa.”
Laba abanochoko abayishumi bayayiqaphela imingcele yoMthetho ngabanochoko futhi bazigcina bekude noJesu. Kodwa, bamemeza ngamazwi amakhulu: “Jesu Nkosi, sihawukele!”
Ebabona bekude, uJesu uyayala: “Hambani, niyoziveza kubapristi.” UJesu usho lokhu ngoba uMthetho kaNkulunkulu ugunyaza abapristi ukuba batshele abanochoko asebesindile ekuguleni kwabo ukuthi sebephilile. Ngalendlela abanjalo bathola ukuvunyelwa ukuba bahlale futhi nabantu abanempilo.
Laba abayishumi abanochoko bayakholelwa emandleni kaJesu okwenza izimangaliso. Ngakho bayaphuthuma baya kubapristi, ngisho nakuba bengakaphulukiswa. Besesendleleni, ukukholelwa kwabo kuJesu kuyavuzwa. Bayaqala ukubona nokuzwa impilo yabo ebuyiselwe!
Abayisishiyagalolunye kwabanochoko abahlanjululiwe bayaqhubeka bezihambela, kodwa omunye, ongumSamariya, uyabuya efuna uJesu. Ngani? Ngoba uyabonga kakhulu ngalokho okwenzeke kuye. Udumisa uNkulunkulu ngezwi elikhulu, futhi lapho emthola uJesu, uwela ezinyaweni zakhe, embonga.
Ephendula uJesu uthi: “Akuhlanjululwanga abayishumi na? Baphi, pho, abayisishiyagalolunye na? Abafunyaniswanga yini ababuyela ukumnika uNkulunkulu udumo, kuphela lona wezizwe na?”
Khona-ke uthi kumSamariya: “Sukuma uhambe; ukukholwa kwakho kukusindisile.”
Lapho sifunda ngokuphulukisa kukaJesu abanochoko abayishumi, kufanele sicabange ngesifundo esisikiselwa umbuzo wakhe othi: “Baphi, pho, abayisishiyagalolunye na?” Ukungabongi okwaboniswa abayisishiyagalolunye kuwukushiyeka okungathi sína. Ingabe thina, njengomSamariya, siyozibonisa singababongayo ngezinto esizamukela kuNkulunkulu, kuhlanganise nesithembiso esiqinisekile sokuphila okuphakade ezweni elisha likaNkulunkulu lokulunga?
