Abantu Abaselula Bayabuza . . .

Imidlalo Eyoyikisayo—Ngaba Ndifanele Ndiyingenele?

NJENGOKO umi ungcangcazela eqongeni uxelelwa ukuba “eli iza kuba lelona xesha loyikisayo ebomini bakho.” Kuqaliswa ukubalwa: “Hlanu, ne, ntathu, mbini, nye—TSIBA!” Indlela owa ngayo ikwenza uthi xhungu. UNorbert oselula uthi: “Ndiya kulinga nantoni na endenza ndoyike. Ndiyayithanda yonke imidlalo—i-baseball, ibhola yomnyazi—kodwa owokutsiba ebhulorhweni wandenza ndoyika! Awunakuthelekiswa nanto.” UDouglas oselula uyavumelana noko. Uthi: “Imidlalo eqhelekileyo imnandi, kodwa isoloko icetyelwe okuthile. Usoloko ubekelwe imiqathango. Ndiyayithanda imvakalelo yokuwa. Imidlalo eyoyikisayo idlulela ngaphaya kokucel’ umngeni ukukwazi kwakho ukudlala; ikwenza ujongane ubuso ngobuso nokufa! Abadlali babonakala belivuyela ihlombe layo. Kunzima ngakumbi ngoku ukufumana into endoyikisayo nendenza ndibe nehlombe.”

Ngaba Oku Kuwafanele AmaKristu?

Ngaba iBhayibhile iyigweba ngokupheleleyo yonke imidlalo? Akunjalo. Kukugabadela ngokungekho ngqiqweni okugwetywayo. Njengoko kubhaliwe kwiNtshumayeli 7:17, uSolomon wabuza: “Yini na ukuba ufe lingekabi lixesha lakho?”

Esinye isibhengezo sezihlangu zemidlalo sikhuthaza ngelithi: ‘Ubomi bufutshane. Dlala ngamandla.’ Kodwa sinembopheleleko kwiziqu zethu, kwabo basithandayo, nakuMdali wethu yokuba sibuxabise ubomi bethu. Ubomi sisipho esivela kuThixo. (INdumiso 36:9) Kumaxesha okubhalwa kweBhayibhile kwakunokudluliselwa isohlwayo esiqatha ngokubulala ngempazamo. (Eksodus 21:29; Numeri 35:22-25) Ngaloo ndlela abantu bakaThixo babekhuthazwa ukuba baziphephe izinto eziyingozi ngokungeyomfuneko.—Thelekisa iDuteronomi 22:8.

Ngokufanayo namhlanje amaKristu anembopheleleko yokubonisa intlonelo ngobomi. Ngaba bekuya kuba kokufanelekileyo ukuqalisa umdlalo onokukuchanaba kwiingozi ezingeyomfuneko? Xa uSathana uMtyholi wazama ukuhenda uYesu, wathi izithunywa zezulu zaziya kumfukula uYesu ukuba wayenokuziphosa ezantsi ukusuka eluchochoyini lwetempile. UYesu waphendula: “Uze ungayihendahendi iNkosi uThixo wakho.”—Mateyu 4:5-7.

Ngaphezu koko, enoba womelele okanye uphile kangakanani na, akunako ukuziphepha zonke iingozi. Akukho ngqiqweni ukucinga ngokuthi: ‘Akunakwenzeka kum.’ IBhayibhile iyasilumkisa ukuba ‘sonke siphela sifikelwa lixesha nasisihlo.’—INtshumayeli 9:11.

Cinga Ngaphambi Kokuba Utsibe

Kusengqiqweni ukucinga nzulu ngemiphumo enokubakho ngokutsiba kusilenge osetyenziselwa ukwakha, ngokutsiba kwinqwelo-moya ebhabhayo, okanye ngokwenza nantoni na esenokubonakala inobungozi ngokugqithiseleyo. Musa ukuva ngondiva okanye ngeengxelo ezichulumancisayo zolunye ulutsha kuphela. (IMizekeliso 14:15) Funa iinkcukacha.

Ngokomzekelo, uyintoni umlinganiselo weengozi zomdlalo othile? Ngawaphi amanyathelo okhuseleko athatyathwayo? Enye ingcali ithi ngokuphathelele iscuba diving: “[Abantu bacinga ukuba] ukusuka emoyeni ukuya emanzini kuyingozi. . . . Kodwa kuyingozi kuphela xa ukwenza ngaphandle kokufundiswa ngokufanelekileyo.” Ngoko kwakhona ufanele ubuze, Ngaba luluphi uqeqesho nezixhobo ezifunekayo kulo mdlalo? Ngaba zikho iingenelo zokwenene, ezinjengomthambo? Ngaba kukho iingozi ezingalindelekanga, okanye ngaba injongo eyintloko yalo mdlalo kukudela ukufa?

Ukuba esi sizathu samva singundoqo, usenokuzibuza ukuba kutheni ukuthanda kangaka ukuzibeka engozini. Ngaba kungumphumo wokuba nesithukuthezi okanye wokuxinezeleka? Ngoko kutheni ungafuni indlela ekhuseleke ngakumbi, esempilweni ngakumbi yokuhlangabezana nezo mvakalelo?b Incwadi ethi Teenage Stress isikhumbuza ukuba ukuzibeka engozini ‘kuyindlela eyingozi nengasebenziyo kwaphela ekuhlangabezaneni nemiphumo emibi yoxinezeleko.’—Thelekisa IMizekeliso 21:17.

Emva kokwenza uphando olucokisekileyo ngalo mbandela—waza wawuxubusha kunye nabazali bakho—kusengagqitywa kwelokuba bekuya kukulungela ngakumbi ukuba ukhethe ikhondo elahlukileyo kunelo lemidlalo eyoyikisayo. Abazali bakho basenokukhetha ukuba ufune imidlalo ebonakala ingabusongeli kangako ubomi, efana nokuqhuba ibhayisekile, iskating, iskiing, nesnorkeling, ukukhankanya embalwa. Kambe ke, nemidlalo ekhuselekileyo ngokwentelekiso inokuba yingozi ukuba imigaqo efanelekileyo ayisetyenziswa.

Oku kwenzeka kwiqela elincinane lolutsha olungamaKristu olwagqiba ekubeni luthabathe uhambo ezintabeni. Laphethuka kwindlela elaliyihamba laza laqalisa ukunyuka kwicala elimxinwa leliwa elimxethuka. Kungekudala lazifumana lisengxingweni ngokupheleleyo, lungenako ukuya ngaphambili okanye ngasemva ngokukhuselekileyo. Yandula ke inkokeli eselula yeli qela yeva ngengxolo ebingalindelekanga. Ababini kumaqabane akhe bawa baza bafa. Enjani yona intlekele!

Ngoko nceda uzilumkele! ‘Vuya ebutsheni bakho,’ uwaxabise amandla nokomelela osikelelwe ngako. (INtshumayeli 11:9) Kodwa ngaphambi kokuba wamkele isicelo sokwenza into enokubeka ubomi bakho engozini, yenza oko uBrian oselula akwenzayo. Uthi: “Ndiyazibuza, ‘Ngaba uYehova ebeya kuvakalelwa njani ngoku? Ngaba bekuya kusichaphazela njani isimo sam sengqondo ngokuphathelele isipho sobomi andiphe sona?’” Ewe, cinga nzulu ngeengozi ezinokubakho, zihlolisise iintshukumisa zakho. Ubomi buxabiseke gqitha ukuba wenze ngenye indlela.
